Cabin vacation rentals in City of Carlisle

We stayed in the Sung for a 2 night girls weekend away.. for a special birthday. Before we arrived, Sara was easy to contact, and allowed us to check in early to extend our celebrations. As we arrived, our Asda delivery was awaiting our arrival, which makes things much easier. The Sung was immaculate. The pictures don’t do it justice. The beds are incredibly comfy!! And the couch!! Sara pays so much attention to detail, and even made us a hamper to enjoy. There was Prosecco in the fridge, birthday cakes, and more - thank you!! We spent most of our time in the tub (which is maintained every day, and amazing at night when the stars are shining), and having one too many Proseccos, but there’s lots of walking to do. We ventured out to one of the local pubs which was delicious too. We forgot a bag when we left, and Sara called us and help arrange for us to come back and collect. We’ll definitely be back!! Fantastic place to stay. Beautiful spot. Alan was a great host very friendly quick to text back and even after we messed up our booking he kindly allowed us to stay another night. Fab location for walking and climbing. Pet friendly and exactly what we hoped it would be. Can’t wait to come back!! Five stars *****

We had a fabulous family holiday here. The accommodation was perfect for a trip with small children and very dog friendly. Fabulous location with so many adventures on the doorstep.

Gorgeous cabin in a super peaceful location. Hot tub and fire pit were amazing and made for a cozy night in. The cabin was spotless and provided everything we needed. Hosts were really helpful and on arrival provided us with extra logs for the fire and helped us with the hot tub. Would 100% recommend and would definitely make a return!

The lodge was absolutely stunning and exactly what we wanted. Upon arrival all the essentials were provided like bread, milk and a delicious cake along. The lodge was very clean and all towels were provided, including the towels for the hot tub. The views from the lodge looking out from the bedrooms and hot tub were stunning and certainly helped us all to relax. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need - nothing was missing. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week - I couldn’t recommend it enough if you want peace and quiet and stunning views.

A beautiful lodge with the luxury of a hot tub and private sauna! Even when the weather wasn’t perfect, the big windows made you still feel like you were sat in nature even when indoors with the lovely trees around. A great kitchen space too. Enjoyed it so much we organised a later check out with Ben (who was really responsive). Would definitely go back again!

It was a really good stay for my girlfriend’s birthday. She was very helpful. I’d never used air bnb before. And arranged this last minute.

A beautiful caravan perfect for a family break. We stayed 3 nights over the February half-term with 2 children and our dog. The hot tub was a hit with us all and we felt relaxed and comfortable. We loved that it had 2 bathrooms, so there was plenty of space for us all to get showered and changed, including a walk-in wardrobe in the main bedroom. The caravan park was quiet and ideal with a park for the girls to play. The Host, Jennifer, was friendly and responsive to any questions we had while we were there. Thank you so much.

Perfect place for family with two teenage boys to entertain and the dog! Lovely cosy and clean lodge. Great base for fun in the Lakes. The hosts were very quick to respond as we booked very last minute! Hope to come again.

Great place to stay, has everything you need was clean & tidy, lovely sitting outside in the evenings with the fire pit, 5mins from Amberside town witch has everything you need, lovely walks round the area, would recommend highly.

Myself, partner and 2 kids fancied a last minute get away. Found this location and it was ideal. Being off grid for a day or so was great and very relaxing. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely return.

Amazing place to stay, we took 3 of our dogs and our son. Hot tub, amazing children’s play area, trampoline, swings, seesaw, 20+ go carts with track, play obstacle course, climbing frame, slide, basketball hoops and football nets. The pictures on the advert are outdated and don’t show the go cart track. A brilliant field specifically for walking the dogs, not fully secure due to gaps under the gate but great for dogs who will ignore sheep. Lovely pod with everything we could have needed, hot tub lovely and warm, amazing views. Picnic bench and parking space. Lots of towels available, comfy bed and pillows. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco, eggs and biscuits. Very happy with our stay! We went to The bridge end inn for tea, 2 nights in a row!! The food was absolutely fantastic, well priced but quality fresh cooked food. Booking is a must as they were very busy.

We had a great time at the observatory regardless if we could see any stars or not, unfortunately we can’t control the weather! We loved it that much we stayed an extra night, this is the best place to relax and unwind, you have everything you need in the cabin and toilet and showers and kitchen are very close also. We would really recommend the Indian takeaway nearby in Allendale and also the kings head for food. Both were amazing and there’s a cafe just down from the cabin that do great breakfast. Overall lovely stay and we would love to return in the summer to catch the stars. Thank you Helen and Alan

The cabin was lovely and cozy, always warm and is in amazing surroundings. Rosie was very friendly, left us some lovely treats (especially the brownies) and was really quick to help us with our questions. We had the best couple of nights and would definitely recommend ☺️

We had a great stay here. This caravan has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Everything is great quality and the sofas are super comfortable + it’s only a 10 minute walk to Cockermouth which has loads of restaurants, shops and pubs to choose from. The caravan is cosy, perhaps best for a couple due to the size however we enjoyed our stay immensely!

Rob, I can’t thank you more mate the best experience I’ve had in a lifetime such a amazing place to stay, such a hidden gem the price needs to be doubled then doubled again for the value of this beauty. We had such a lovely time! The place was so gorgeous and exactly as described! Super clear instructions were left and the place was absolutely to die for. In the absolute perfect location for all the best spots in the Lake District and even Windermere is walkable! The lodge itself was in pristine condition upon arrival and we couldn’t have had a better stay. Thank you so much! Will definitely be staying again.

Absolutely stunning location. and within walking and driving of so many beautiful areas! The cabin was so lovely and cosy with the stove, I would live here if I could! Plenty of supplies in the cabin, stove ready to light, wood, candles, blanket and pillows.

The Herdie Hideaway was simply gorgeous! The location and surroundings are idyllic, the hut itself is spacious yet cosy, pristine, cute & had all you need for a trip away! Charlotte was at the end of the phone at all times and so helpful with local recommendations and updates on check in/weather etc. Will definitely be back and couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you 😍

Perfect place for a few days away, ideal location as it’s between beautiful walks and not far from Penrith. Stunning scenery surrounding the accommodation and the hosts gave us all the information we asked for with quick replies. My girlfriend and I would definitely stay here again when we head back over to the lakes

Dan's place is absolutely perfect. Spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. It feels like your in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nature but only a few minutes away from civilisation and shops, takeaways etc. Best of both worlds. Communication was great and Dan was very helpful. Would definitely recommend and will happily stay again.

The cabin at Outdoor Inns was lovely! Spacious, clean, we were very comfortable staying there once we got into the cabin on arrival day! Quiet peaceful location around farms and pub!

Our stay at The Burrow was by far our favourite to date. It was peaceful yet close to local amenities and lovely walks if that’s what you fancy! Kate was a superb host. Her listing is simply stunning and we can’t wait to re book to visit again! The decor is just beautiful… I can’t recommend this enough. Thank you Kate
