Fantastic place to stay. Beautiful spot. Alan was a great host very friendly quick to text back and even after we messed up our booking he kindly allowed us to stay another night. Pine Marten, Luxury Log Cabin,Hot Tub & Log Burner

AmeliaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our trip to The Pine Martin was nothing short of amazing—it truly lived up to its glowing reviews! From the start, Martin was an incredible host, going above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He accommodated an early check-in, gave us great local tips, and was always available if we needed anything. The location is absolutely stunning! Right on the doorstep, there’s a beautiful dog walk around the estate grounds and a lake—perfect for peaceful strolls. The surrounding area has some great food spots, both in Otterburn and on the estate itself. The house itself? Just perfect. Super comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cosy open-plan living space that made for relaxing evenings. The hot tub was also spotless and well-maintained—such a treat If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with nature, comfort, and a fantastic host, we’d highly recommend The Pine Martin

Herdwick Luxury Hot Tub Log Cabin, National Park

VickyRating, 5 stars20 months ago
The lodge was absolutely stunning and exactly what we wanted. Upon arrival all the essentials were provided like bread, milk and a delicious cake along. The lodge was very clean and all towels were provided, including the towels for the hot tub. The views from the lodge looking out from the bedrooms and hot tub were stunning and certainly helped us all to relax. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need - nothing was missing. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week - I couldn’t recommend it enough if you want peace and quiet and stunning views.

Huntercrook Lodge, near Hadrian’s Wall & Hot Tub

BernadetteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Julia’s charming lodge with my family to celebrate our son’s 30th birthday, it exceeded all my expectations. The space was impeccably clean, with very comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen that made me feel right at home. The location and views are just fantastic, it is just under a two mile walk to the lovely twice brewed pub and Hadrian s wall. Julia was incredibly hospitable and responsive to my queries The thoughtful touches, like the fabulous welcome basket, well stock kitchen cupboards with all the essentials and of course the lovely kind touch of a very tasty homemade fresh cream cake and Prosecco on ice when we arrived. All rooms having well equipped en-suite with all the essentials, shampoo etc. all bedrooms also having your own door leading to the beautiful outside area with chickens welcoming us every morning. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting this area and definitely look forward to returning

The Snug, boutique lodge in Northumberland

SallyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed in the Sung for a 2 night girls weekend away.. for a special birthday. Before we arrived, Sara was easy to contact, and allowed us to check in early to extend our celebrations. As we arrived, our Asda delivery was awaiting our arrival, which makes things much easier. The Sung was immaculate. The pictures don’t do it justice. The beds are incredibly comfy!! And the couch!! Sara pays so much attention to detail, and even made us a hamper to enjoy. There was Prosecco in the fridge, birthday cakes, and more - thank you!! We spent most of our time in the tub (which is maintained every day, and amazing at night when the stars are shining), and having one too many Proseccos, but there’s lots of walking to do. We ventured out to one of the local pubs which was delicious too. We forgot a bag when we left, and Sara called us and help arrange for us to come back and collect. We’ll definitely be back!! Thanks again for a lovely weekend away “the midwives” ♥️ xxx

Pod 2 - Ensuite Family Eco Pod Log Fired Hot tub

Bradley ScottRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely overnight stay at Broomhills Farm River Eco Pods. Catherine was a great host—really helpful and quick to reply, which made everything easy and stress-free. Waking up in the morning was so peaceful, with just the sound of birds in the background. Sitting outside with a coffee, taking in the beautiful surroundings, and even spotting otters playing in the lake made the moment feel extra special. It was just one of the many things that made our short stay so memorable. Even though it was only one night, it felt like a real escape. We felt completely at peace and connected to nature. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Herdy Lodge - Cosy Family Getaway

KevinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
what can I say? All the reviews about Herdy Lodge were spot on. To take a teenager away from his playstation to somewhere so quiet I was nervous. That ended when we arrived, just how lovely this place is cannot be described. So peaceful yet loads to do. My son and I have fallen in love with the lake district, my dog has a new found love of sheep and chickens. From arriving and receiving lovely treats and eggs from the farm, to the amazing locations to walk our dog. But so much more than that ... to hear my son ask when we can go back has made me smile driving all the way home to Watford. Andrew & Alison thank you for letting us stay at your gorgeous home. We'll be back next half term. I can guarantee that. Already missing our walks around Talkin Tarn. If I could give 20 🌟 I would.

Fell view

LindaRating, 5 starstoday
Caravan was immaculate and had everything you needed. Was really homely and cosy. Nice short walk into town which had lovely dog friendly places to eat and drink. The hill going up to the caravan was very slippy as it had been raining, i had slipped on wet moss going out one morning so just to warn people to be mindful of this. Would definately return as we had a lovely stay.

Lovely clean caravan In beautiful peaceful surroundings. The caravan park itself only had around 5 caravans so nice and quiet, the donkeys were a welcome sight too! First ever Airbnb for all of us which went very smoothly so big thank you to Rachel for her advice (and the park warden who found my wallet and arranged to post it out for me!) Stayed to walk scafell pike which went very well. Big things!

Fellhill Luxury Glamping Pods (Herdwick Pod)

FionaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Amazing place to stay, we took 3 of our dogs and our son. Hot tub, amazing children’s play area, trampoline, swings, seesaw, 20+ go carts with track, play obstacle course, climbing frame, slide, basketball hoops and football nets. The pictures on the advert are outdated and don’t show the go cart track. A brilliant field specifically for walking the dogs, not fully secure due to gaps under the gate but great for dogs who will ignore sheep. Lovely pod with everything we could have needed, hot tub lovely and warm, amazing views. Picnic bench and parking space. Lots of towels available, comfy bed and pillows. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco, eggs and biscuits. Very happy with our stay! We went to The bridge end inn for tea, 2 nights in a row!! The food was absolutely fantastic, well priced but quality fresh cooked food. Booking is a must as they were very busy.

Crocus, lodge with hot tub in Ullswater fells

NaomiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Gorgeous cabin in a lovely location. The view was exceptional. There was some work going on on neighbouring buildings that we were not warned about, but we did get a note apologising for any disturbance so thats not all bad. The welcome basket with some essentials and treats was a lovely touch. The hot tub is super cute and because its not got jacuzzi jets its actually really perfect for the setting. Sitting in such peace, under the stars like we were the only people in the world was priceless. Definitely recommend taking your own kindling, we were given logs but couldn't have started the fire for the hot tub without the kindling we took....though sure we could have bought some from the team, just easier to have your own. Overall the cabin was beautiful, everything we needed, and you can't find a more perfect setting than the glorious lake district can you?! Keswick is a 15 min drive away, Windermere about 45 mins. Would recommend.

Observatory Glamping Cabin in Northumberland

GaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Incredible place. Took my two young kids and Alan was good enough to show them the telescope even past theit bedtime. He 100% made my 6 year old full of excitement and wonder and a convert to astronomy. The location is pecaeful, full of wildlife and birdsong and just an incredible find. Its out of the way, but: 1. It has to be because of light pollution and 2. If my old campervan made it there, you can too. Any single parents of young kids just be aware bathroom and kitchen are outside accommodatiom and also downstairs, so be prepared to sneak out if you need a posg bedtime wee! Recommended unreservedly.
