Hiking enthusiasts, however, need only walk out the front door, across the creekside bridge, and up the mountain. Any of the dead-end gravel roads will treat you to long range views of beautiful mountain vistas. Those with interest in historic homes may prefer to stay put and enjoy the cabin, which is the oldest on the mountain.

The Settlers cabin is located 21 miles from Asheville and 12 miles from Chimney Rock State Park. It is located on 9 acres of private property with Mountain View’s all around. A very private setting with a .5 mile concrete paved driveway, one lane. A great way to get your morning or evening walk in. Apple orchards and nature all around. Wifi Hi speed 370+ &Jacuzzi tub. The bedroom is located in the loft a common area with a queen size and a full size bed both accessible from the stairs.

Our cabin is in the gated Riverbend community on a quiet wooded lot and is very cozy and comfortable inside and out. It is perfect for a couple's getaway from city hustle and bustle. Wildlife abounds in the area. Inside are all the comforts of home including a new Sealy king memory foam mattress. We clean it ourselves and we take care to sanitize all surfaces between bookings. There is a big Ingles nearby and some restaurants as well. Chimney Rock is closed due to Hurricane Helene damage.

While our guest cabin survived the Hurricane Helene storm wind and rain, there are no accessible roads to our property at this time. Please cancel your reservations to get 100% refunded. Our recently restored cabin is located 15 minutes from downtown Hendersonville and 12 minutes from DuPont State Forest. This is a great home base for adventures in both Henderson and Transylvania counties. Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. A stay at our cabin is a great opportunity to enjoy rural life in Western NC. Pretty Place Chapel is about 35-40 minutes away.
