Smoking-friendly vacation rentals in Chiaia, Napoli

Don’t rely on Google maps. After taking the Alibus to the port, it’s a straight walk through Plaza Municipo, keep going straight and you’re there in 10-15 mins. Google maps route suggested 25min walk - weird route. Must have over looked the photos but couple of things to note….no lounge and no windows. Very busy area right next door to the Maradonna Museum. Plenty to do and see - loads of walking and easy to use Metro - good value for money. Quite noisy at night though - mopeds everywhere - and a fair bit of noise from upstairs neighbours. We did sleep well though - good beds and bedding. All in all good place to stay in the heart of Naples and Rita is a superb host.

Perfect accommodation to get to all the main tourist areas of Naples, in the heart of Spaccanapoli but sheltered being inside a courtyard, so you can sleep peacefully. Very clean, nice and comfortable, helpful and very organized host, I couldn't have asked for more!

Many good restaurants in the area. Close to train station and local transit options. The apartment is nice with a well stocked kitchen. Good comfortable bed. My train was about an hour late to arrive and Davide waited for me to give me the keys and also provided some good information about the area. There is a street market that starts in the morning just outside of the apartment. You can hear people talking but it did not bother me. If you’re a light sleeper you may want to use ear plugs. I would stay there again if I come back to Naples.

Great location for any family that wants to be close to a subway stop and also very close to the archeology museum. There are some nice pastry shops and cafes nearby. The apartment was clean and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Maria's place was as described. close to the train station, but suggest taking the major street following the train station vs the side streets. Sidewalk is easier to manage with suitcases and feels safer especially at night.

Giulia was welcoming, nice, precise and discreet. We told her the arrival time and she gave us a meeting point from which she accompanied us to the house. The house is in a location reachable by car by going up a small hill road with a panoramic view of the Gulf of Naples (Sorrento peninsula and Capri) that is nothing short of exceptional. The house is very special: on two floors, it has a rustic country style full of details that make it unique. There are two full bathrooms with shower, a double bedroom with large wardrobe and a bunk bed living room with fireplace and a very comfortable double sofa bed. Clean and fragrant bed linen and towels. All possible and imaginable accessories were present. Giulia left us everything we needed to cook, and to make breakfast. The location of the house was strategic for us to visit Naples (less than 30 minutes from the center) and the excavations of Pompeii (about 20 minutes). Thank you!

The best house to stay in Naples...

Super Host! There was no ambiguity or misunderstanding at any time. Communication was seamless. The house was clean and spacious, but most of all, the outdoor area with kitchen impressed me! The private driveway on the property is also definitely a highlight. If you park your car on the side of the road, don't be surprised the next day if a small scrap draws the car. After a 30-40 minute walk, you could also reach the main street with nice coffees and restaurants. I don't recommend great with the car, but rather to resort to a scooter as a means of transportation. Traffic in Italy is a matter of its own and could be overwhelming for some people. At the end of the street there is a great pizzeria that sells pizzas at an unbeatable price. Absolute must, during a stay! All in all, the stay was very relaxing and I highly recommend everyone to stay with Andrea!

Absolutely perfect for what we needed as a base to go everywhere. Even though Doriana couldn’t speak English the check in was perfect Simple’s instructions spotless large apartment big master bedroom plenty of space had everything we needed great location well stocked small supermarket 2 mins walk away 5 minutes to ferry port just across the main road and same to the metro 15 minutes walk to both railway stations it was perfect for us

2nd stay, which is just a 5 star review in itself. Alot of people say, " I would stay again..." Well, we did, and it was great the second time too. The hosts are incredible, and the location of the apartment is unbeatable. ...I would stay here, even a third time!

Very pleasant stay in Naples. In large part thanks to Marco's kindness and thoughtfulness: he was there when we arrived to give us the keys to the apartment. And he gave us all the necessary information:restaurants around the apartment, bars to frequent, how to operate the air conditioning in heating mode. We decided to visit Sorento and Positano: Marco gave us the necessary information about the circumvesuviana. I highly recommend Marco and his apartment located in a quiet area but close to the Spanish neighborhood. To be done again.

We had a great stay. Spacious apartment with a lot of windows, all the facilities you need (including a fully equipped kitchen with good pans), clean and a kind and helpfull host. As a bonus you get a nice view over part of the city and the green garden of the building downstairs (there is no acces to the garden, but it's nice to look at). 10 minutes walk or so to the metro or bus to visit various things in Napels. We liked that the appartment was in a more local neigbourhoud, and not in a fancy touristic neighbourhood. Felt safe. The only disadvantage are the hard beds. So if that is a problem for you this apartment might not be the best fit. But besides that, a great place to stay.

This place was almost perfect for what we wanted. The view was great even on cloudy days. Our style is walking and public transport. The location is good for that. A little far from Metro stations but the walk and neighborhoods are quite nice, full of real nice people. So nice because you can be a tourist sometimes then feel like you came back to your neighborhood home in Arenella area and particularly Medaglie d'oro. La Padella, Supero and other places made life good. Most important was our very supportive and responsive host. If there was something needed the response was fast. Great. We will never forget this experience and the people and their kindness, food, coffee, wine, water, beauty, history of Naples. Sincerest thanks Chiara!
