Vacation rentals with lake access in Chesil Beach

Clean, cosy and comfortable and still feels new. Good shower and comfy beds (although my 5’6 son said the single bed was a bit short and narrow for him - the only issue as everything else was perfect). The holiday park is quiet and well maintained, we enjoyed the heated pool and dog walking area around the fishing lake. The pygmy goats are so cute!

We stayed at Rhian’s house for three nights in February with some friends and it was perfect! We throughly enjoyed our time there! The house was very homely, cosy and beautiful. The beds were all very comfortable and everything was super clean and tidy. There is a lovely hot tub on the roof and there is also an outside, heated pool which is a short walk away - our kids loved it. We hope to come back and stay again soon. Thank you so much for an unforgettable weekend. ☺️

We had an amazing weekend at the cottage! It was the perfect setting for our weekend away! So cosy and surrounded by amazing walks and pubs. Also James and Jane were the best - so helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend!

Wow what an absolute perfect place to stay! The house is gorgeous, and absolutely spotless!! There is literally everything you need, you’ve thought of absolutely everything which makes for the perfect stay, so thank you! Great hosts with a lovely welcome pack and some gorgeous treats which was much appreciated after the 7 hour drive! very responsive, with lots of info provided for you too. We spent an absolutely wonderful couple of nights at Emma's accommodation and only wish we had booked for longer. Everything was beautifully clean and we were made to feel right at home by Dianne the moment we checked in. The property is extremely luxurious and there is plenty of space to relax. We spent some time exploring the local area and beaches but were more than happy to return to enjoy the beautiful accommodation, cook some meals, light the fire and make the most of the amazing views from the conservatory. The beautiful horses in the stable block were an added bonus, together with the contemporary artwork displayed throughout the property. This is the most idyllic accommodation in a peaceful location - perfect for recharging batteries.

We had our place cancelled last minute and we booked this place a week before we stayed. It was way better than the previous place for not much more cost! Grace was very quick to respond easing the stress of the cancellation. It’s a beautiful home and a very good location. We felt right at home and were very comfortable there. Definitely recommend the house and Grace is a great host!

We booked this as a special family trip as my sister and her children were visiting from New Zealand, we wanted somewhere memorable and a bit different, Emillies place was certainly that! the photos really don't don't justice, it's a spectacular space and set in beautiful surroundings. The home was well equipped and we all agreed the beds were really comfortable- like being in a boutique hotel! and 3 bathrooms for 5 guests was amazing luxury! We had a little problem while there and Emillie sent someone round immediately to fix it! We were lucky with the weather and ale to explore the grounds and nearby Lyme, but we would have been equally happy being 'rained in' at the home!! We couldn't recommend it more highly to anyone looking for a 'something special' staycation. thanks Emillie.

Lovely tractor house to stay in. Has all the things you’d expect in a studio flat. Not very accessible if you don’t have a car fyi (not a fault of the place at all) but otherwise lovely.

This property has got to be in the best position right on the sea front. Everything on your doorstep including the beach. The flat is deceptively spacious and has pretty much everything you need and more. Don is a legend and from the moment I booked this flat nothing was too much trouble and very informative. can't wait to go back!!!

We needed a peaceful and off the grid stay and that is exactly what we got. The place is next to two lakes and surrounded by nature. A bit cold for us to take advantage of the water but a reason to come back in the summer. The perfect hosts that were flexible with a last minute check out request from us. A great base to also see The Purbecks and the sounding area. 10/10

The caravan’a main living area felt much more spacious than we imagined and there was quite a good sea view. It was right by the amenities yet still quiet. Parking was a little tricky but we have a big car and you can always use the main car park which always had spaces and felt very safe. Lovely resort with friendly, helpful and professional staff.

We had a fantastic stay at Sunset Cabin. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. When I initially read that the hosts live above it nearly put me off but I’m so glad it didn’t as we wouldn’t have even known they were there, very non intrusive but all the while on hand replying when needed and very friendly. Beautifully clean cabin. Lovely sunset walk to the harbour and the paddle boards were great fun! We are already planning a trip back to stay here in the summer- can’t wait ☺️

What a lovely peaceful location overlooking the lake! All arrangements and communications were great and Frederick made sure we were settled with friendly information about the property and area. The flat had all the home comforts, was well presented and clean and we really enjoyed the views whilst dining and relaxing! The added bonus of safe parking and the flat being in walking distance from everything ensured we had a very relaxing stay!

Julie is a lovely host, very welcoming. The property is very convenient, exactly as described and wonderfully peaceful.

What a pristine, beautiful place. We decided very last minute to have a couple of nights away and we couldn’t have chosen better. The Kelpers Barn is just as shown, tranquil, cozy, with amazing views and is immaculate. The house had everything we needed and some. Tim and Debbie were super quick to respond to any queries and popped in to make sure we had everything we needed. It is slightly off the beaten track but equally very easy to get to some great pubs, walks and points of interest. It is without question somewhere we would love to come back to.

Jane was an excellent host especially around the Christmas period. Be aware it can be difficult to find in the dark but that was also its charm. The house was excellent for 8 adults & 1 ,4 yr old. It had everything we needed & we cooked a full Christmas dinner without a problem. So easy to get to the beautiful coast where 4 of the group swam twice in the calm waters. Lovely to be able to get a great walk by the lake & around the property if you didn’t want to drive far. Two lovely log fires & we were never short of logs. Charlie & Jane were excellent hosts . We will certainly be back .

We had a brilliant stay at the Pink House! The house itself was beautifully decorated and was warm and inviting - we felt really at home here. Deborah was very friendly and responsive in her communication and sent us lots of local recommendations of things to do and places to visit. The garden was really private and we loved the built in BBQ and home-grown tomatoes and cucumbers, and the welcome basket that we're waiting for us when we arrived. The Pink House is in a great location with walks right from the front door and only 15-30 mins drive to the various beaches. We had a wonderful stay and wished we booked for longer - we'll definitely be back again!

This is a great place to stay . Catherine, the host was superb . Really helpful when I asked questions, and always replied promptly . The accommodation is great , with an AGA cooker , log stove , and a very comfy bed ! The lane to get there is very narrow, but you soon get used to it. We will be back !

Incredible location and incredible hosts. James and Emma were so lovely and helpful. The place is straight out of a movie. Can’t recommend it enough, specially for couples looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway.

Four of us stayed for a girls weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. The home was beautifully furnished and decorated. The photos don't do it justice. Comfy beds, fab bathrooms and very warm and welcoming.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Karen’s cottage. The location is perfect with lovely walks on your doorstop, excellent pub just along the road and generally great for exploring east Devon. It’s a cosy cottage. Wood burner heats the lounge quickly and our dog loved the heated floor in the kitchen. We loved the hot chocolate station! Highly recommended and look forward to returning.

Abby's place truly felt like a home from home the moment we stepped through the door. Only staying here 3 days, was not enough...as there are so many lovely walks, and in the area. The views are absolutely stunning, and i would call this place a real hidden gem. A couple of lovely local pubs in the area, and can recommend the food at The Lord Nelson! We took a drive to Lyme Regis for the day too which is a 40 minute drive away. A beautiful view from the french windows right outside our door of the lilly stream, and a friendly cat that came to hang out with us....not to mention I could have spent 3 days alone wandering around the magical garden! I would love to come back again soon. Thank you to your husband for showing us around and settling us in.
