Our daughter and our adorable grandkids live in Belmont. We usually stay with them but they had a basement flood and the room we usually use was being repaired. So we looked for someplace close and found Robin’s delightful apartment. Though we chose it for proximity, we couldn’t have been more pleased. It is lovely, quiet, comfortable and trulyfeels like a home, not a rental. We’ve stayed in many rentals over the years, but never before have we found a pantry and refrigerator so well stocked! Robin has obviously put a lot of time, thought and heart into making the apartment a warm and welcoming place to stay. Thank you again, Robin and Jon, for sharing your special home with us.

The house is by the lake in a quiet and comfortable residential area. If you don't have a car, it takes about a 10-minute walk to reach the nearest bus stop to get to downtown. The room is very clean and cozy, and the bed is especially comfortable. The only thing to note is that the curtains don’t block out much light, so a sleep mask would be helpful. The host, Thomas, is super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend :)

An amazing stay with an incredible host! Truly from the first moment I met Rose, she was so welcoming and inviting! We ended up grabbing dinner together at a new local spot with delicious foods. She is truly so kind and has so many recommendations! The house is incredible with everything you need and more for a comfortable and luxurious stay. It’s super close walking to downtown and just about anything. The area is quiet and calm. I loved the smell of fresh flowers throughout the house and the complementary tea for breakfast was great. Rose truly goes above and beyond for her guests, including lending me her own coat when I was severely underprepared for the wind. She is so sweet and you will enjoy your stay with her! I am looking forward to getting to visit again. Also her puppy is adorable and so sweet but definitely not intrusive for those who aren’t fans of pups. I cannot recommend enough, book your stay here! You won’t regret any of it.

Raj and Julia were very welcoming hosts and I had wonderful two weeks stay here. The home is sweet , warm and beautiful. The bedroom is comfortable. Even the kitchen and bathroom are full of sunshine. The house is a very good place to stay in Boston. I had a very good experience here. Highly recommended.

Marie's organization actually books this home for Grace, the host. Grace runs an "old fashioned" bnb, with a friendly greeting as you arrive and a light breakfast featuring fresh breakfast breads and her homemade granola. We loved staying with Grace! We had plenty of privacy, a comfortable and quiet room, a private parking spot and key to come and go as we pleased. Her home is clean and safe. Grace is not intrusive at all, but she was gracious and helpful with any advice we needed during our stay. We picked exactly the right place for a perfect vacation.

Hope was a great host to us! She greeted us at the door and made us feel truly at home. She was such a pleasure to talk to and she gave us great insight into the area and recommendations for our time in Salem. Her place was super cozy and unique. I would absolutely recommend for any one traveling to Salem to stay with hope!

Rob and Carol are wonderful hosts and co-hosts Barney and Fiona are sweet as can be. Great, central location to Plymouth, Duxbury and the coast. Walking distance to great food. Clean and cozy space. Private and quiet. It was perfect. I would absolutely stay here again.

Rosanne and I immediately hit it off. She has an adorable rescue dog. The home is stunning it reminded me of grand old homes I’ve stayed at that were professionally run bed and breakfast inns. The home is in an historic district. The neighborhood is charming. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. I really appreciated having a tub for soaking after my trail runs. I had access to all of the house and was able to do laundry. Despite having a bad neck injury and a dog who’d recently had leg surgery, Rosanne went out of her way to accommodate me. I felt so at home. I already know this area since I used to have a boyfriend in a nearby town. Dedham Square has lots of restaurants and a great old movie theater. The home is also near Legacy Place shopping center, which has the best Whole Foods anywhere. Being vegan, I’ve been to many during my business travels. I look forward to staying with Rosanne again soon.

Peter and his wife were amazing. They could not have done more to make our stay so very nice. It is an older home tastefully renovated and so very welcoming. The only thing that I feel compelled to say, is that the owners live on the second floor and they use the same staircase as you and may stop to chat. We loved it but that may not be for everyone.

I really enjoyed my stay with Kate. She was warm, welcoming, and reliable. She is genuinely interested in people and our conversations were wide ranging, from gardening to art to history. I can't wait to return. Kate will always be my first choice of host in the Boston area.

We really enjoyed everything about our two night stay. From early checkin to very reasonable 12 check out, everything went smoothly. Additional bedding was supplied for a friend and overall the room was very large with a great big bathroom in the corner. Highly recommend.

Very timely response once I booked. Someone was waiting outside at night and helped my daughter and I bring in our bags and gave us a tour and let us know some very helpful travel hints to Salem. Would recommend.

Jodi was a great host, we felt right at home from the second we walked in. Her home was so clean and beautiful. She had everything we could have needed and made an amazing breakfast in the morning, that we enjoyed outside by the fire. We will be staying with her again such a beautiful town.

Lovely home, great location and friendly and helpful host. Felt more like a "hosted B&B or inn" rather than the more common experience I've had with Air B&B of the host being available but not a visible presence. If you are looking for a private, nonengaging experience, this might not be for you. However, if you enjoy meeting your host, we found Bob to be warm and cheery and he made us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. Rosy was away so we did not meet her, however, her decorating talents were much on display from the tableware to the linens and accoutrements, all of which made us feel like we were special guests.

A beautiful craftsman style house near the center of Newton and a short drive to anywhere in the Boston area.

We absolutely adored the Rajah Room. It was a beautiful space to stay for our one night in Salem and we would definitely book again in the future!

This was our 4th or 5th year coming here. My Summer wouldn’t be complete without staying here. The views are incredible!! I just love sitting out on the balcony all day long listening to the waves. It’s so peaceful & relaxing. One of my favorite places! The breakfast is always soo good to. Always sad to leave but looking forward to coming back next year.
