Cabin vacation rentals in Chautauqua Lake

We found this place to be perfect for a girls’ weekend in the woods! Very close to Lily Dale, which was our primary attraction. We all were sad to leave because we loved our little cabins!

This particular property was a breath of fresh air. The cottage I stayed in was immaculate, cozy, there was something magical about this one. I was able to clear my mind and let go!! I cooked on the deck, my dog was able to chill. Extremely pet and family friendly but if you’re looking to decompress and be out of it all you can still do that. I loved that it was private but I could still hear the surroundings of other people which I actually liked because I’m a solo traveler. Made me feel safe. I will definitely be returning!

As in other reviews be prepared for sulfur water. The sulfur smell is horid. However, i believe the owner has done everything he can to try to elevate it. Filters work well but they need constant flow or they can be bad instead of good. I developed rash from it. I read reviews and knew about it well in advance. The place is very comfortable and quiet location. If you listen carefully you can hear the click clock of amish on the roads. The electric heaters heat the property astonishingly well. This week we had nearly 30 inches of snow. We were sick of the snow for sure. Plenty of grocery stores and shopping nearby. Restaurants as well. Beds feel hard at first but slept like baby. No stains on sheets etc as others pointed out. Over all enjoyed our stay. IF YOUR SKIN IS SENSITIVE TO SULFUR NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. UNTIL A PERMANENT SOLUTION IS FOUND FOR THE ISSUE. We will probably rebook in 25.

It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view. It was what we were looking for for a short getaway. 10/10 would recommend it to a friend and would stay again

I absolutely loved staying at this cabin! It looks just like the photos. Super clean, cozy, warm, and has everything you need for a weekend getaway. The hot tub was perfect. I cant wait to come back!

Cynthia's home provided amazing views and beautiful sunsets. Our family vacation was memorable because of all the spaces indoors and outdoors that enabled us to appreciate the lake and natural surroundings. Cynthia was responsive to all of the little questions that popped up and we got to take advantage of so many restaurants and fun activities on Lake Erie and Lake Chautauqua. Our family of ten would stay again in a heartbeat!

Angela’a place was quiet with beautiful surroundings on a nice property, the perfect getaway for my girlfriend and I. Her instructions were very helpful regarding check in and layout. Though our visit was short, we had a great time enjoying the peace and serenity her place offered. We enjoyed the secluded hot tub area, as well as the optional breakfast which was above our expectations! Will certainly be returning here for our annual fall get away!

We enjoyed staying at David’s place very much. The house was dated but clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook for a big family. We enjoyed the game room very much. The pellet fireplace was a nice touch to make the room warm and cozy. Location was great as it was only 9 minutes drive to Ellicottville and 11 minutes to Holiday Valley. David was quick to respond to any problems. Would definitely recommend.

Great little place for a weekend getaway. Cabin had everything you’d need, in a nice peaceful, remote location. Would recommend especially for a quick ski trip!

The Fisherman’s Cottage was a great getaway for me & my family. The cottage was really nice. It looked small from the outside, but was spacious inside. The beautiful view of frozen Lake Erie will be a sight I will always remember. I wanted to do something different this year for my birthday weekend, & this will be so memorable. I’m so happy that I decided to come to the cottage. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you Julie for hosting us.

The place was exactly what I was hoping for in a log cabin. The host was helpful and proactive. The view of the lake inside of the house was perfect.

The cabin is beautiful and off the grid. Made me feel like I was staying at my family’s cabin when I was a kid. Very peaceful and great to sit back and relax. House is very clean and has beautiful surroundings.

Really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was beautiful, even nicer than the pictures. Kids loved the lofts and little “play room”. Everything was clean and comfortable. Host was really great to communicate with. Already planning a visit back!!

We liked everything very much, we stayed with the children, the children were delighted with the second floor, amazing nature, the pond, we liked everything very much, the owner provided coals for the barbecue, coffee, candles for lighting, everything was at the highest level

Perfect for the long weekend and the location is close to the places we wanted to be: Midway State Park, Bemus Point, the lake etc. We enjoyed using the grill. Also appreciate the extra things they provided like air mattress, firewood, bug spray etc. It was a great first cabin stay experience for our toddler!

This place was beautiful for a weekend get away. We enjoyed exploring the trails and sitting on the deck and enjoying the peace and quiet. Very much worth the money and then some.

We had an exceptional stay at this property. The home was not only beautiful but immaculately clean. The snowy surroundings created a perfect winter atmosphere for our visit. Check-in was seamless, and Brian was incredibly responsive whenever we needed assistance. We enjoyed local gems, including Arbor Coffee House where we enjoyed delicious coffee, and the fascinating Allegheny Outfitters next door (where we admittedly spent more than planned!). One highlight was learning about the rich Native American history of the Kinzua Dam area and the heritage of the local tribes. Overall, this was a memorable experience, and we're already planning a return visit to experience the area during summer!

This was a last minute booking when our winter cabin reservation had to cancel. It turned out great! Beautiful, comfortable, very well stocked log home that had everything we needed and more! Pond was skateable at edge and the hill next to the house was perfect for sledding. Our grandkids had a ball! Dianna quickly responded to all our inquiries and they even made it possible to get a campfire started . Thank you!

What a fantastic stay! The views are incredible with more than enough space for the kids to run around the property. Robin was very responsive in answering any questions we had and heading into town is a beautiful drive.

Great place to stay; it was perfect for visiting family during the winter holidays. I can only imaging how fantastic it would be to visit over the summer.

Our group had a great time at this large family camp. Plenty of space and a lovely setting made for a really nice stay. The local area is very nice. Great place all around.

We rode snowmobiles from Vicki and Kim’s cabin, and had a great time! The cabin is right on the NYSSA groomed trail, and is a great place to ride from. As many noted in their reviews, the cabin is much larger than the listing photos make it seem. The hosts were also very flexible, helpful, and easy going - we will definitely be back for a repeat trip.
