Family-friendly vacation rentals in Charny-Orée-de-Puisaye

We really loved our stay, and felt immediately at home - we were two families with three kids between us, aged 5, 2 and 1. The kids loved the toys and the garden was totally enclosed and safe for them to play in. We were visiting for a bouldering trip, and were able to get where we needed to go with the car - Petit Bois was 8 mins away, but nowhere was much more than 30 mins. We also loved having the local woods and park to keep the kids and a dog entertained on wetter days. Anne-Marie met us on arrival and was really welcoming, explaining what we needed to know, and responding to any questions that came up during our stay. Thank you!

We were 10 children and 8 adults.We had a great time,a beautiful house and spacious gardens. The pool was the perfect size for the children but had enough room for us all.We felt we had a legitimate French experience in a local village.Plenty to do in surrounding areas. Cecile was very responsive to my many queries in advance of our trip.

EXCELLENT ! We had an absolutely awesome stay. I have a host as thoughtful as Hanène. We had a surprise birthday party and Hanène was the best accomplice for the party to be a success! Thank you so much! The cottage is superb, perfectly equipped, and very spacious . We were also lucky enough to have a beautiful tree! It was perfect, thank you for everything!

Very pleasant family weekend under a beautiful winter sun, peaceful place. Functional house albeita little cluttered. Awesome SPA and full of toys and amenities for the kids.

A beautiful, comfortable gite that was peaceful and restful. Claire and Thierry were very helpful and responsive and I would definitely recommend you consider their meal options! The Norwegian spa was a huge benefit and I recommend you pay the extra for this if you are staying for more than a few days. Highly recommend! Thank you Claire and Thierry!

The stay in this cottage was perfect. Very well appointed and very well equipped, perfectly clean, the cottage lends itself well to a gathering of families or friends. The environment, close to the canal, is very pleasant. David is very friendly and has good advice. So it's a no-fault, I recommend it.

I celebrated my birthday along with 17 of my friends in Caroline’s house. The house is perfectly located, a beautiful boulangerie 5 minutes by walk, the forest and boulders were 20 minutes walk away and the house was situated in a great place with no one around. I can highly recommend the house, the kitchen is where the party was all weekend, perfect for a wholesome weekend. Will be coming back!

We loved our stay in this house to spend Christmas with the family. The house is authentic, the decor is nice. It's a warm and comfortable setting. We were hosted very well. We visited Chablis and now, when we drink a wine from this region, we will think of the vineyards on the hillsides that we were lucky enough to see in real life.

I was happy to meet Monique and her husband. The accommodation is large and functional. It is located in the heart of Vezelay. I was happy to spend these few days surrounded by very old houses full of history.

A small, quiet, green cottage. Very good welcome from Estelle and her husband who gave us good advice to discover a beautiful region still authentic. The rental is simple but nothing is missing and so it's a great value.

Nice welcome from Dominique and Patrick in this haven of peace. Clean and well-equipped accommodation. Air-conditioned. Kids are welcome and it shows! The pool was very nice especially with the hot weather. Bcp of nearby points of interest such as Château de Guedelon. We'll be back for a second stay, for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with David who immediately welcomed us and informed us about the area and its history, and its heritage. The house has two very beautiful donkeys and small chickens, the surroundings are very nice for walks too. I recommend it!!
