Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Chaffee County

We had a great stay here! Would definitely book again in the future. Walking distance to all of downtown, where you can find great restaurants and a lot of things to do! Highly recommend!

The house was comfortable and well stocked. The fenced yard and grill were great! There was firewood for the wood burning stove in the living room that made our evenings extra cozy. Communication from the host was excellent. Kim reached out the morning of our arrival to let us know it had snowed and they would have the driveway and sidewalks shoveled before we got there. The location of the house is about a mile from the Main Street area. The neighborhood was quiet. We would stay there again.

Everything about this place was excellent. House was spacious and clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. We celebrated baby’s first Christmas and the host was extremely accommodating by putting up a Christmas tree. Definitely will stay here again

Great stay for us and our dogs! We know Salida well and this was a great spot if you’re bringing your doggos. Loved the Monarch Spur trail! Comfy, clean digs. Would stay again!

Such a beautiful, clean, nicely taken care of cabin with an amazing view. We loved our stay, appreciated the good communication and easy self check-in, and detailed information and tips located in the cabin book.

We loved our stay in Salida. This group of friends has stayed at a few places around Salida for our annual ski trip and this place checked all our boxes! It is only 20-25 minutes to Monarch Mountain to ski and snow tube, less than 10 minutes to walkable downtown Salida, and easy to navigate the neighborhood. Our group loved the 6 person hot tub and fully stocked kitchen--we mostly hung out at the house when we weren't at the hill! The bedrooms were great for 3 couples and 1 kid and we had plenty of space at the kitchen table and comfy couches to spend quality time playing games and hanging out. I would highly recommend this spot for any group or family looking for a launching point for the beauty and outdoor fun of Salida, Monarch, or the Arkansas River.

Beautifully architected and well-constructed home with lots of natural light. Awesome custom wood cabinets and interior doors. Splendid views from inside and outside on the wide deck! Well-equipped with pots, pans, plenty of table settings, paper products, etc. Easy to get to Monarch Mountain. Salida close by. Yet quiet and very peaceful with a small stream on the property. We had a most enjoyable stay!

Every trip we take we always like to find what we hope is an amazing AirBNB, and this one was our absolute favorite. Hosts were great. Area was beautiful. Our kids and dog had the best Christmas out in this mountain paradise.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Such a great location, walkable to several good restaurants and the river trail. Joelle is responsive, friendly and gave great recommendations. The home was easy to find, clean and very cozy for our winter stay. We would recommend this spot to anyone!

Beautiful Airbnb in the heart of South Main! Easy walk to The Surf Hotel, boulder garden, restaurants and the river. The beds were extremely comfortable. We would definitely consider booking again! The only thing to be aware of is that South Main has construction going on. Throughout the day dump trucks and other construction vehicles could be heard driving by the property. However none of the construction is immediately next door and it was quiet at night.

I stayed in Buena Vista for a work trip so having a comfy place and a kitchen to cook in after work was really nice. The views in that neighborhood are unreal. It was really fun to walk around and explore.

This place is amazing! Hidden away but close to everything. It’s a large space yet supper cozy with beautiful surroundings areas. Wonderful for families. The host was super attentive. Hope we can come back and stay here again. We loved it.

Lovely quiet spot. As a solo traveler I felt safe. I went in the mornings to the hot springs, cottonwood is only 15 min away. Pretty large for a studio. It is attached to their house, but I didn’t hear any noise. It was nice to feel the river nearby even though it was very cold outside so I didn’t really go down. Thanks for hosting, I would definitely come back.

Place was clean, very spacious and comfortable. Can’t beat the location. We didn’t need it for our 3 days but there is a washer & dryer, so if you’re staying longer or do some dirty hiking, that is very convenient. There’s a small deck out back that we set up our telescope. Full kitchen, not that we used it because of all the good spots to eat right around the corner. Would definitely stay again next time we come to Salida.
