Waterfront vacation rentals in Ceredigion

The apartment is in a great location. Very close to the beach, coffe shop, pub and pizzeria. The apartment is cosy, has all the basics and a very comfortable bed. A lot of equipment, such as travel cot, airer etc are stored in the wardrobes which restricts the space for hanging clothes if you are staying for several days. The hottub is a nice additional extra. Parking is a bit tricky as the car park nearest to the apartment is chargeable £15 for 24 hrs, and the car park up the road does not allow overnight parking. You can park on the main road at certain times of the year. Overall, it is a lovely place to stay if you like walking and being near the beach. We had a great time.

Great place to stay for a wonderful visit to Aberystwyth and surrounds. Handy for exploring Aber on ‘a trip down memory lane’ (Aber uni 1996-99) Couldn’t fault to apartment or the host. Thank you so much.

We had a very relaxing few days at Sea Salt. Fabulous first floor flat. Well equipped, very modern/stylish and very clean. Amazing views and we did see dolphins one afternoon. Very quiet due to the season but just what we wanted. Couldn’t ask for more.

After reading all the previous reviews I was already looking forward to staying and it certainly did not disappoint. The apartment was definitely the cleanest I have ever stayed in ! The bed was comfy and bedding so soft. Large sized towels in a beautiful bathroom. All kitchen cupboards were stacked full of lots of crockery including decent sized mugs and ones that matched!! Lovely to have tea, coffee and milk. Nice little touches like the artwork and upholstery. My absolute favourite thing about here has got to be the view and the gorgeous large chair in the window. I literally sat on it from 6am waiting for the sun to rise and just listening to the peace and quiet with only the waves which is a beautiful sound. We were visiting my son at Uni so do know the area a little but if you are new to it there is a lovely town and of course sea front. Thank you so much Gareth for an amazing stay we will definitely be back !!

Lovely flat, right on the seafront, with a fine view of Aberystwyth'so renowned nightly starling murmuration from the front window! Well-equipped and warm, and very convenient for the town and coastal walks. Lovely friendly host who clearly cares for the place and keeps it in beautiful condition.

The apartment and area are a little piece of heaven. The apartment has stunning views and everything you could possibly need for your break away. Great base to explore the area around and I recommend a train journey to take in the stunning scenery.

Another wonderful break at The Lookout. We stayed in the Lower Deck apartment this time which was perfect for the two of us. Spotlessly clean, great shower and very comfy bed! Amazing views out to sea and everything you need just on your doorstep. The hosts provide you with a parking permit for your stay so that you can park literally opposite the apartment, so very convenient. Excellent communication from the hosts, Jules and Lisa, from the minute we booked until check out. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at The Lookout and can’t wait to return again. We wanted to start the new year with a wholesome welsh coast getaway and that’s exactly what we got! The lodge was ideal for the two of us but would be plenty of space to sleep 4 too. Facilities were great - all the bits you need in the kitchen and plenty of space, clean bathrooms & hot showers, comfortable beds and cosy living area with smart TV, board games & electric fire for extra warmth/atmosphere. We loved the hot tub, it was really clean, perfect temperature and felt really private and peaceful too. Location was great, small walk to the beach and to a pub (The Ship - great food and really nice atmosphere). We stayed in January so weren’t expecting it to be particularly bustling, but there were still alot of walkers and locals about. Lots of walks in the area and more places to explore, had we stayed longer we’d have popped to the brewery and into Aberporth. We’d love to come back in the summer!

I asked the family&friends who were with us in Christmas week at the cottage and the consensus is that it was ‘pretty damn good’! ☺️ lovely house and location. Very thoughtful host who went through trouble of decorating the place making it super Christmassy and left us a lovely gift too. Being with friends and family in such a lovely place is all we wanted for Christmas. 🎄 😁 thanks Anna and Glynn. Best wishes for new year. X

Place was amazing. Location of caravan was best. Easily spotted. So thoughtful host. Internet connection was weak but lot of DVDs for kids. Many toys. Amazingly spare batteries were available too. Nearby amenities. Beach and town centre in walking distance. Weather got bad. So much rain and wind with power cut and no mobile signal for whole of the town that kind of made the stay little not well but other that our family enjoyed well. Would prefer to come to Aber in Summer and would love to stay here.

such a beautiful property, its had some refurbishment work since the last time we stayed and is even better, it's nice to see a host put some money into the property to keep improving it. as always Bev is super helpful and responsive, we can't wait to come back (again)

We had a lovely stay at Wendy's. Borth is beautiful and the view from Wendy's is stunning. It's a really lovely location, and it was great walking to the High Street to eat out in the evenings. Wendy also provided a great breakfast hamper every morning which set us up for the day. We found her very friendly and helpful. We were very comfortable in Wendy's beautiful home and really enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Helen’s house and would recommend it so highly! The house is beautifully decorated, really comfy and has everything you could need during a stay. It is very handily located in the middle of Aberaeron and lovely and cosy. Helen was such a helpful host in advance of our stay, and we were so grateful for the lovely, thoughtful welcome package. Wow this was a perfect, peaceful Christmas stay. We made some lovely memories as a family and I would 100% recommend a stay. The house is perfect and we loved waking up to the views! Great local pubs for food and drink! Everyone is so friendly. Caroline was very helpful and so thoughtful. I must say one of my favourite places I’ve booked and I will definitely be looking at booking again. Thank you

We were a family group of 4 adults. We really enjoyed our stay . The location is perfect , a very short walk from the beach , cafes , pubs, restaurants and parking . It had everything we needed and was very comfortable . We would definitely recommend .

I think Heather under sells just how lovely this appartment is. The view 5*, the location 5*+++, small touches like beach equipment, games, and decor 5*. There is no street parking, however the car park is next door to the building, so ideal for keeping all the beach stuff in rather than taking up the flat. I would recommend unloading from the front of the building rather than the back entrance, as the back is owned by the chip shop underneath and they have lots of deliveries/staff coming in and out from shifts etc. Also the chip shop underneath was Amazing (best value in the area)

Loved the Tabernacle - (and Aberdovey in November). It suited us really well. A big thank you too to Louis for being so kind and understanding, and rushing to let us in when we locked ourselves out - just to find we had found a way in! Would highly recommend and would love to come back.

Great location - everything in walking distance and a fantastic view of the sea. Parking was a breeze too - we used the garage on the street behind the property at the start of our stay but ended up parking on the street directly outside the flat as there were always plenty of spaces available. Self check-in was very easy and convenient, can’t fault it. Paul and Clara were very helpful, responding to queries in a very timely fashion. We had a great stay in Aberystwyth

Dawn's apartment was really beautiful with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable sofas, good hot showers and beautiful crisp, clean bed linen. We were very impressed can't wait to return. As a host Dawn was excellent and couldn't have given better service. We highly recommend this apartment.

Everything you could want in the flat, comfy beds, nice bathroom, all the stuff you could need in the kitchen. Best thing is the amazing view though - 100% worth it.

Great little apartment with spectacular views. The host was extremely helpful with a small issue with the water pressure in the evening and sent a maintenance person and plumber over to assist. Everything is as described and the check in was really simple. We particularly appreciated the parking pass which comes with the accommodation.
