Farmstay vacation rentals in Central Florida

Cynthia and Danny were so sweet and accommodating. They left us eggs and butter and some various condiments, and the cottage had many thoughtful amenities. Her listing was correct in saying that, being in the country, the satellite internet is not always 100% reliable, and critters are ever-present, but we were prepared for these things since she told us about them. Best of all, we were able to bring our dog and she loved the company of Cynthia’s three farm dogs!

Danville was an amazing experience. The pictures don’t do it justice, it was the perfect getaway and the family is very welcoming. We stayed in the yurt, which was very well designed and clean. We had the opportunity to play with goats, donkeys, chickens and an alpaca all day, and we were lucky enough to be there for a concert at Woodstock! If you love the great outdoors, farm animals, peace and quiet, and making friends, Danville is the place to go!!! We will be back!

A great stay in Orlando. Our family needed the space of a full home and enjoyed our time at Jeremy’s. I highly recommend this space to anyone traveling with kids! Lots of entertaining toys! I especially appreciated the use of the high chair and pack n play for our littlest guy! Jeremy was extremely kind and responsive. The area was very accessible to all the fun things to do in the area. Given all of the swimming and outdoor activities we did, it was great to have the washing machine and dryer!

We enjoyed our stay here as a bigger group with a little baby. Spacious, clean and private. Kitchen fully stocked, two bathrooms and 4 beds was great for our group. The location is a little out there, and with traffic, getting to Orlando can be a bit crazy. It does take a good 30 minutes to Disney and 1 hour to OCC convention center, depending on time of day. But we can’t control traffic, otherwise the place was great!

The Bunkhouse was very comfortable and peaceful. Great view of pasture land and cows. The porch is a nice quiet spot to sit and relax. Rhonda was very helpful and easy to deal with and she always prompt with her responses. We would definitely stay here again.

Karen and Rick are wonderful hosts! Communication is great, they are very accommodating and was very flexible with our most recent stay. We appreciate it!! The home is exactly what we need for a father and son fishing trip. Clean, comfortable and a great location. Perfect location to trailer the boat. Highly Recommend!

Another incredible stay! Chely and Erica always make us feel right at home. Everything was super clean, the house is amply stocked with everything we could need, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, and the kitchen is fabulous. This is the first place we look to stay when we are in the Orlando area visiting our son who attends UCF. Thank you! As you know, we will be back!

One of the best places we've ever visited. Kathryn and Mike couldn't have been more hospitable and welcoming. The property was peaceful, with a canopy of old growth trees, and a wonderful breeze which made sitting on the gliders a morning must. The cabin was spacious with all the amenities of home; we wanted for nothing. This place was an amazing find. We hope to make it our annual respite.

Maëva was a great host. The million questions we had she answered. My wife’s family is originally from the country and being able to reconnect with nature along with her family was amazing. Finca Bella was so beautiful and calming, the animals are the cutest. The listing is as described and host is very responsive. I hope everyone can get to enjoy this home as well.

Staying at the Wilderness Shores Ranch was such a delight for my husband and I. The weather was perfect, camper was clean and comfortable. We loved the special attention to detail and homey comforts as well as treats for not only us but, the horses, cows and goats too! This time of year, a night sitting out on the deck enjoying the gorgeous view of the campground with the live oaks and the quiet atmosphere. Being able to sit under the stars in the warm breeze and relax! What a treat!! Walking around the property we enjoyed all the farm animals. It’s not everyday you get up close and personal with a long horned cow. A quiet walk down to the lake right around sunset with the one you love makes you realize, you should be doing a lot more of this more often! Thanks Melinda for such a splendid stay! Could not have asked for a more unique way to spend a weekend. Until next time!

These are the best hosts ever!! They go out of their way to make you feel welcome--providing everything you will need during the stay. The house is cozy and the surroundings are beautiful. I spent time sitting out front seeing the cardinals, hummingbirds and horses. The kitchen has everything you need, very well equipped. There is a keurig and a regular coffee maker with everything you need to make coffee. Plenty of towels, and blankets are everywhere. The beds were comfy, AC worked great, and the area is really peaceful and quiet. The hosts are always responsive and incredibly kind. We were three generations staying and my elderly mother with mobility issues was quite comfortable in this house. Highly recommend!

The Peace Cottage was such a nice getaway for mine and my husband’s birthdays this year! We really enjoyed the ranch and waking up to see horses in the backyard! You might even get lucky and get to hang out on the porch with the kitty cat! The hot tub was a great bonus as well. Thank you so much, Robert and Andrea!

Great stay being in the medical field and constantly being burnt out. This place was really nice to stay at and the dogs were so kind and sweet the turkey threw me off but it just wanted to be pet. Everything was as promised. Didn’t get to use the pool. Don’t remember if it mentioned campers in the back may or may not of scared them unintentionally. But everyone was nice plenty of space to park. Nice Catholic Church that holds an annual spring festival open to the public. Local food spot that’s really close. Less than 30min away from historic st Augustine. And 30 min away from the beach. So much to do nearby and just nice to go back to rest and relax soak in the sunshine and nature after a busy day in the city.

Quaint little house in the middle of the goat pasture. enjoyed watching the goats and friendly cats who insisted on sharing dinner with us. Bed was a little soft but we made it thru. Josie brought us a hot plate and gave us extra paper towels. nice quiet stay

As great as this place looks in the pictures, it is even BETTER in person! My sister and I stayed here as a home base for kayaking a few of the area springs and it was beyond perfect. In the evening we would chat and relax in the yard while watching the farm animals and birds, listening to the breeze in the mature moss-filled trees and watching the intense sunset through the trees off the back porch. It was so peaceful and refreshing. The rest of the time my sister and I strolled around and marveled at all the incredibly detailed, creative and charming farmhouse furniture and décor that the home is filled with. Seriously, we were in awe!! It truly looks like it came right out of pictures in a magazine or design show. Amber is certainly very talented with re-envisioning antique items and furniture AND making it look absolutely fabulous in the space. For a delightful stay with tranquil surroundings then you should stay here- you will definitely make some lasting memories!

It was a great experience. Tim and Glenda were so nice and very helpful. Our plane landed 4 hours late and they were excellent at making sure we could find the place and left the lights on so we would not have to navigate in the dark. It is very peaceful and quiet, which is just what we wanted. I loved the recommendations for places to see and eat. The homemade muffins and personalized thank you card were so sweet. A great experience!

As a horse person - I figured I would really enjoy staying at a horse farm. Some may think a horse farm cottage would be too rustic or smell like horses… not this place! Absolutely gorgeous interior design with everything that I would need for my stay. Very clean & comfy! The kitchen is nicer than the one I have in my house and I was really sad that I had to leave. The views of the horses in their paddocks really added to my love for this property. I whole heartedly recommend this cottage for horse & non-horse lovers 😊😊😊

My husband, son, dog Max and I just had a wonderful 4 night stay at Happy House, located on the beautiful and peaceful Forever Spring horse ranch. The accommodations were as described and Bill and Claudia were wonderful hosts...friendly and available but not intrusive. The cottage was well stocked with essentials and we loved the snacks, coffee and the bottle of wine they provided. The screened-in front porch and the back deck were great places to sit, eat and enjoy looking at the horses and area wildlife. We hiked the trails on the property and visited the nearby state parks. Our dog had a great time as well. If you're looking for a quiet, rural setting to rest and refresh, this is the place. We definitely recommend it and hope to return.

The Strawberry Guesthouse was clean and very charming. The property is serene and beautifully decorated. As a host, Joseph is attentive and effortless to coordinate with. I must schedule a longer reservation next time! I will be back!

Steve was a wonderful host and his place is just amazing! The area is so picturesque - gorgeous, peaceful horse farms everywhere. The apartment was immaculate and so well-appointed. Very spacious with room to unpack and truly feel right at home. I loved the double closets in the bedroom which allowed more than enough room to unpack everything and lovely spacious bathroom (double vanities) also with great closet and storage space. The kitchen was perfect, finished with everything you might need, and the living room area was comfortable, homey and nicely decorated. I really appreciated all the special touches, lighting, amenities that made it so easy to settle in. My dog and I loved walking the property and surrounding area every day. Steve was so helpful and accommodating as I extended my stay twice and he went out of his way to be helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - it's a dream spot!

We had a wonderful stay at Sonia’s place in Winter Garden! From the start, communication was smooth, clear, and friendly. Sonia is a thoughtful and welcoming host who made sure we had everything we needed. The house was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated — exactly as described, if not better. We truly felt at home and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!
