Chalet vacation rentals in Central Finland

Stayed at Timo's amazing "mökki" (=cabin) for almost two weeks with my family. Timo was really responsive and helpful from the start and the mökki is simply wonderful. Missing it already.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal für jeweils vier Wochen in Rene‘s wundervollen Haus. Traumhaftes Grundstück und wirklich schönes und gemütliches Haus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Perfekt wenn man die Ruhe und Natur sucht. Toll zum Entspannen, kochen, Flammlachs machen im Grillhaus, saunieren und die Umgebung bei Spaziergängen erkunden. Rene ist bestens erreichbar und antwortet und hilft sehr schnell. Wir werden wieder kommen 😃

The place was a great getaway from everything. It wasn't squeaky clean, but it was as clean as I'd expect someone's summer cottage to be, and it was absolutely fine. The second floor has a low ceiling so moving around can be a bit awkward and the stairs are a little steep but manageable for able-bodied people. The place was always warm and cozy, even in -20°C temperatures outside! If you need groceries, the local K Market should have everything you need, but don't expect many amenities or things to do nearby, you might have to drive an hour or two for most points of interest. Overall, it was a great experience and for a great price, we'd come back again!

Rantasauna oli parhautta mitä voi suomalaiseen maisemaan odottaa. Vietimme joulun tuolla huvilalla ja hyvin mahduimme 8-henkisen ryhmän kanssa toimimaan. Kesällä olisi varmaan vielä huikeampaa kun ulkotilat ja esimerkiksi piha voisi olla paremmin käytössä.

Nice cottage with everything you need for a stay at Himos. Plenty of amenities and a few minutes drive to the ski slopes and 3 minute walk to the lake.

Hieno paikka loistavalla sijainnilla! Kaikki mukavuudet löytyvät ja saunan löylyt olivat erittäin hyvät. Tanjalle myös erityiskiitos ystävällisestä palvelusta, kattavista ohjeista ja nopeasta vastaamisesta viesteihin.

Mökki sopii hyvin ystäväporukan viikonlopulle. Mökissä on kaikki tarvittava ja tilaa on. Meillä oli yksi sateinen ilta sisätiloissa eikä tullut ahdasta. Heli jätti myös kattavat ohjeet kaiken varalle. Ihan muutama miinus: - Ajo-ohjeet olivat hieman sekavasti kirjoitetut - Ohjeissa mainittiin että lähes kaikki kulutustavara täytyy tuoda itse (vessapaperi, käsisaippua, mausteet, pefletit yms.) mutta todellisuudessa lähes kaikkea oli viikonlopun tarpeisiin nähden riittävästi - Loppua kohden mökkitie on todella huonossa kunnossa ja joillain autoilla voi olla vaikeaa päästä perille asti. Maininta tästä olisi hyvä.

Mökki oli kuvatun kaltainen ja mökissä oli kaikki tarvittava onnistuneeseen lomailuun. Vietimme oikein mukavan viikon kohteessa ja kaikki toimi kuten pitikin. Voisin ehdottomasti tulla toistekin.
