Amazing break away. Peaceful setting, stunning views. A great place to switch off and relax. Nick was a great host from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend the breakfast box.

Lovely little cabin in the country of Yorkshire, close to Dalby forest. The cabin comes equipped with everything you would need. The highlight is the hot tub. If you turn off the fairy lights, the stars are visible through the sky. Perfect area to stay as its in between towns and not too far of a drive for shops etc but still out of the way to be peaceful. The cabin is at the back of a property, which isn't too far away so not as private as I initially anticipated, however with that being said it's a lovely place to stay and I would recommend ☺️

The family and I thoroughly enjoyed Rambling Cottage. Beautiful cottage in a great location and very accessible. It was a great space for us to base ourselves for a long weekend exploring what the North York Moors had to offer. Highly recommend. Michael, Laura, Elsa and Eddie

What a place and what a host! Feels like we’ve found a gem. The location is simply stunning and so peaceful! The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. Hot tub was a real treat and the views - just wow! If you are looking for a retreat close to all the highlights of the cost - this is the place. Steve is an absolute super star. The kids loved him and he couldn’t do enough for us - filling the fridge with goodies, lending the kids fossil hammers and just being so helpful. The kids loved feeding the animals and getting to know the two dogs. They were in tears when we had to leave. We will be back and have left feeling so rested, relaxed and happy! Great stay at Victoria cottage , house was very clean , cosy and well equipped. Bedrooms very warm and very comfortable. Loved the hot tub. Fantastic location in a lovely village and not far to visit Scarborough and Whitby .Ian always responded immediately with any queries .All in all a great half term break and would definitely recommend

I ended up doing a solo trip with the dogs and I felt very safe and comfortable on my own. The cottage was clean and cosy. The large Porch is a great design to have an area for drying off coats / boots and with the hot tub. Love the field walks, it’s so nice to be able to have somewhere just a short walk from the accommodations where dogs can be let off lead. Very satisfied with this stay, would recommend to friends and family and I would definitely like to visit again one day. Thank you for a pleasant stay x

A lovely lodge in a beautiful and peaceful site. The lodge was well kept and comfortable - we felt right at home straight away. Only regret is not staying longer!

Richard & Kim provided very informative written guides on anything one might need or like to do while staying at their lovely cottage. They looked after details in the cottage in a way that shows care and love. They even made us a handmade jam! It was our first visit to Yorkshire and they made it a memorable one. We had a comfortable stay that we enjoyed so much.

An amazing house with so much character and charm. It was perfect for 6 kids (5-11years) and 5 adults. Plenty of space to sleep, eat and socialise. 5* review! Would definitely recommend to any large family or group! Was perfect! Thank you Photographer’s House! X

It was delightful...the chalet was perfect and really well appointed...we had great weather too was a bonus...we were having such a great time we stayed an extra night..will definitely be back!!

Thank you Lisa! From the moment we arrived we settled straight in. Everything we could possibly need from all kitchen utensils, cooking equipment, plenty of extra towels, bedding, cleaning products, toilet rolls, even a toothbrush in the little bathroom drawer! We loved the garden and even enjoyed picking apples from the tree and cooking them. I have already recommended your lovely house to other people and would definitely return if in the area. Thank you

The accommodation was spacious, clean, well appointed and easily coped with our family and the variety of ages. The outdoor area was well kept and had a large table and chairs suitable for outdoor eating and had the added attraction as a lovely suntrap. Having bathrooms on every floor was very convenient. A lovely house to use as a base when exploring the neighbouring seaside resorts and countryside.

A great place to stay for a a visit to Whitby. Great views of the abbey from bedroom windows and close to restaurants, bars and shops. Very responsive host. Problems quickly sorted.

This is a real gem of a place situated in the most beautiful surroundings . Fantastic walking straight from your door, bird song galore and so much more . Trish is a wonderful host , very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble . We were greeted with delicious homemade cake , fresh flowers and a basket of treats . I would highly recommend Trish's beautiful home and really hope to be back again one day so much more to explore . Thank you Trish for a wonderful time . Emma

Thanks so much - my parents really enjoyed the cottage - we were staying on a different cottage on The Bay and booked them this one. They said it was their favourite one so far (I think their 3rd visit to The Bay now). Loved the beach walks and a joy to be in Filey again.

A Lovely Stay at Collie Cottage, Filey We had a wonderful couple of nights at Collie Cottage with our 18-month-old and couldn’t have asked for a better base for exploring Filey. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home from home. The location is great—peaceful yet just a short walk to the beach. Our toddler loved having space to toddle about safely, and the cottage had everything we needed, including a travel cot and high chair which made things so much easier. We particularly appreciated the welcome pack and the clear, helpful communication from the hosts. It’s obvious a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. We’d happily return and would definitely recommend Collie Cottage to anyone visiting Filey, especially young families.

Lovely property, great for exploring beautiful Yorkshire. Victoria was an extremely proactive host, checking that we arrived safely and flexible on check in and check out. The cottage was very comfortable with excellent facilities, would highly recommend the property and the host.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at the cottage. All of the rooms are just like the photos. It was really clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is really well looked after. Just a short walk to the beach, then you can be in Filey in 40 minutes. It was really peaceful and the area offers a tennis court, swimming pool and other activities. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous garden and location. Beautiful view from the sun room. Great pool, perfect temperature and very comfortable bed. All round lovely clean and quiet place.

Really lovely place to stay! Immaculate house with very tasteful decor. The kids loved the pool too. The surrounding area was beautiful. Lucy was on hand very promptly for any queries we had. Very well equipped house and had everything we needed. Also so cosy & warm for the cooler weather. We will definitely visit again!
