Vacation rentals in Castellana Sicula

Our stay was very pleasant, everything was fine. However, it's important to note that each villa contains a total of three apartments, which might matter for those looking for more privacy.

The house was spotless and and had all amenities. The kitchen was very well equipped. The rooms had very comfortable beds and air conditioning. Gabriele showed us the house upon our arrival, she was for a long time explaining everything, and she was always available. The only thing to keep in mind in this house is that the access is down a very narrow street. Small cars have a good time. Wide cars like the one they gave me in the rent-a-car (a dr brand car, which by the way I don't recommend to anyone), they also happen although you have to be careful. Otherwise, the perfect house and Gabriele a great host

We stayed as a group of 9 during the winter months. The Villa was beautiful, and overlooked the ocean (from a distance). It was peaceful and serene. Paolo kindly offered us access to his orange and lemon trees, which were amazing! He was a helpful host, helping order us pizza our first night when everything seemed closed. The large dining table and kitchen at the back of the house was perfect for family dinners. We used the outdoor BBQ (propane) and the indoor stove/top range - all worked well. We also used the fire pit and Paolo was kind enough to give us some firewood. The house is about ~20 minutes from Palermo by car, which you definitely need in order to stay here. If you don't feel like cooking, try Bragone restaurant (15 mins). Incredible pizza/pasta in the countryside. We stayed during a cold spell, so while there were lots of heat and heaters available, we were chilly at times because we had to balance the electric load just right to keep things running smoothly.

We were in Mondello in July 2024 and had a fantastic vacation. The beaches and the turquoise blue sea were stunningly beautiful. The apartment of our host Gabriella was just as beautiful as in the pictures, very clean and well appointed. We didn't miss anything. The terrace provides shade during the day and invites you to a glass of wine in the evening – simply beautiful. Gabriella is a warm and loving host who can always be reached by phone. A special experience was when we closed the front door in the middle of the night and the key was inside. We called Gabriella, and her husband came right away to help us. We are very grateful for that. Gabriella was always available for questions and useful tips. We felt very comfortable with her – it doesn't get any better than that. We enjoyed everything about our stay at Katia’s beautiful villa. It was definitely the highlight of our 4 weeks in Italy. We highly recommend it for everyone wanting a beautiful view and quiet stay close enough to visit so many wonderful sites!

We recommend highly Salvatore’s apartment for getaway vacation. It was raining during our stay so we didn’t walk to the local restaurants -Salvatore took us to large grocery store for supplies.We took taxi and Uber to get Palermo even though we had an auto. Salvatore greeted us ( waited for us because we got caught in a rain storm coming from the Valley of the Temples) He showed us the apartment and guided us on our plan to explore the area-This apartment is a great base to explore Palermo and the area this side of Sicily. We wished had more time in this area.Salvatore was a very respectable and responsive host.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful Airbnb right on the water. The property is spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of six adults, with plenty of communal spaces to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Our host was very attentive and took care of every request we had. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious retreat!

We really liked Alessandra's house. It was great for the 4 us . We were given lots of food for breakfast and the house was very clean. 1 bathroom is outside, but it was no problem. There was a large front and back yard and gated parking for 2 cars. It was very close to Scala dei Turchi and short drive from Valle dei Templi. We would recommend it if you want to explore the area near Agrigento.
