Whimsical House with Enchanting Gardens

Custom built space with eco-friendly sustainable materials. This place is tucked away in what feels like the country in the city...enjoy a morning with fresh coffee on the rocking chair porch and relax listening to the sounds of birds. Nice quiet space with nearby park cheer from time-to-time. This is a dog loving property with friendly neighborhood pooch's hanging out, so if you are afraid of dogs, please give us proper notice so we can accommodate. Guest access to the Gazebo, Island, 2-acre Trails and Treehouse is by APPOINTMENT ONLY for the time being - we are renovating and finishing many-a-things and will open them up for public use and fun asap. We are friendly people who respect privacy. We consider new visitors new friends and try to meet all our guests so you feel comfortable with the surroundings and enjoy them even more. We're happy to offer friendly guidance, info and support (discount for writers and artists who stay and create and share)! We really want you to enjoy your time with us. There is 3 additional buildings on the property so friendliness is a must. Nested between a park and suburban neighborhoods, the three acre property off a small graveled lane, is embraced by limited residents and undeveloped forest areas that create a secluded, quiet and private vibe. Right outside the house's gates, is a trail leading through the woods to the park for peaceful walks under giant cedars, maples, pines, and douglas firs. Giant rhodedendrons, mossy trees, and native plants bring a variety of wildlife to the property and neighborhood. Close to both 405 and 520. Walking distance to Microsoft! The bus system is within close walking distance as well and there is a path to Grasslawn park right out the door and through the woods. There's also the bike trail leading to the burke trail just a few neighborhoods away. Bike friendly and we're tuning a few of ours to also offer to our guests...stay tuned on that perk. This is a 1-bedroom facility (3-ish story) with a loft and day bed all within the same air-space as the queen main bed. So if you plan on having 4 people stay (family) you'll be bonding even more so! Bring your story books and ear plugs if you're planning on sharing the space. :) And if you're planning on taking advantage of the sofa bed downstairs in the living room - get ready to wake with the sun! East facing beds for sunrise alarms available pending the season. There are too many windows to count... Also please note that this house has many imperfections and really is more of an art project. Expect lot's of "character". There are many areas that could be better and we'll continue to improve them as we can invest in them. In the interim, we just think they are kinda cute and enjoy finding joy in our faults and imperfections. Oceanfront Nye Beach Retreat Newport Oregon

Brew coffee in a kitchen with vivid granite surfaces and step out onto the balcony to bring in the morning with gorgeous beachfront views. It’s all within reach at this cozy retreat featuring wood floors, a warm fireplace, and nautical-themed decor. This unit has a queen bed. All bedding is provided. There are two full bathrooms. One has a small tub/shower and the other has a walk in shower. The kitchen has every dish you will need to stay in or go out. The choice is yours! The beach is right off the back deck, there are stairs that lead you down to the beach. You are able to have campfires on the beach, however you will need to bring your own wood or collect drift wood to make the fire. There are full time residents in this condo unit. Please be respectful of the people below you. No parties or children please. This is my second home, please be respectful as if it were your own home. You have full access to the swimming pool (during summer season *pool closes October 15th for the winter*). You also have access to the beach via private stairs only for owners and guests of owners. Laundry rooms are located on the 1st and 3rd floor and take quarters. I'm here to support all of my guests. Just send messages through the Airbnb app once you check in and I'll answer as promptly as possible. Otherwise, I'll leave you alone to fall in love with Nye Beach. The apartment is set on the scenic shores of Nye Beach in the city of Newport, OR. Seafood restaurants, cafes, and shops along NW Coast Street are a short walk away. After a day exploring the beach, check out the Newport Visual Arts Center. Within walking distance to some great restaurants and a quick drive up to the lighthouse, bay front (located across the highway on Yaquina bay a 5 min drive) or state parks. You will LOVE it here. There is a bike shop called Bike Newport on 6th Ave that is open on Saturdays if you want to rent a bike. I highly reccomended biking to the bay front if you can. You can surf too! The surf shop on Hwy 101 Ossies has great people and lessons for anyone. If you want to take a boat out to see the whales, go fishing or go crabbing, just hit the bay front and there are a few different boat companies. Please note all guests when reserving so that I can make the onsite manager aware who is staying so that you have full access to the private beach access and pool. No pets allowed. Absolutely NO smoking cigarettes, marijuana or vaping on the entire premise. There is a site manager and he will enforce if he sees a violation. You will be asked to leave without refunds. This unit is on the second floor and there is no access with a elevator. Please make note of this- there are only stairs. The people below this unit live here year round, please be sensitive by reducing unnecessary noise.

This building is special. Situated atop an art studio dedicated to large scale works of art, the residences support the mission of Mad Art. One of ten 2-story lofts, this features 750sqft (70 meters square), plus a deck and access to a communal roof deck with BBQ. This luxurious loft designed by Graham Baba is a work of art. Polished concrete floors throughout, walnut cabinetry and built-ins, blackened steel wall accents, exposed steel structure, natural fir ceiling and exquisite bath and kitchen fixtures express a wholly Northwest material palette. WiFi throughout serving WaveG 1GB internet speeds and 4k TV with Amazon Fire TV. You have the run of the place! There are plenty of open closets free for you to use. I always unpack completely when traveling and I encourage you to do so! South Lake Union (SLU) is the center of Seattle's tech and biotech industries during the day. Have a relaxed evening at a great boutique restaurant or bar. It's walkable in every direction to Seattle's great destinations including the Space Needle. The SLU Seattle Streetcar (inbound) stops directly in front of the building. Hop on and get connected to Link Light Rail all the way to the airport or catch a bus to Capitol Hill, Ballard or Queen Anne. South Lake Union is a hotbed of construction activity and although there is nothing currently happening next to the building, the area is alive with workers during the day. Evenings are quiet and relaxing.
