Family-friendly vacation rentals in Carver County

We booked three nights to accommodate extended family coming from Chicago and Duluth to celebrate my son’s graduation from UMN. This place was perfect for us! There was plenty of room for everybody. The kitchen, open living room area, and deck worked really well for entertaining. We threw a BBQ get together for my son’s friends, a huge success in this great space. The place is very well stocked with everything we needed. We also heated up the sauna each morning to start the day! Emily was very responsive to our every need. Thank you!

Eric is a great host. Super communicator. We appreciated having a place close to our house as we had to be gone from our house for a stage of remodeling. Would recommend.

Amy Jo was a wonderful host and we felt right at home! The home was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy, and my little one had a blast playing with the toys and watching the ducks on the pond. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

One of the best airbnb homes I've stayed at! Four friends and I were visiting Northfield for our 35th college reunion, and it was such a pleasure staying in Barry's lovely, spacious home where we could relax in the many comfortable spaces--especially the porch with it's beautiful views overlooking the surrounding landscape during cool summer mornings and evenings. The communication was excellent and check-in and check-out went smoothly. We hope to back in 5 years!

We loved Kristian and Joe’s place! It was absolutely amazing and the cutest little tiny home, which when checking in Joe informed us it was a converted office/ tiny home. You would never know, because it’s just so comfy and gives a cabin vibe! There’s lots of gear they provided that my partner and I got to use, specifically the canoe at sunset! Absolutely breathtaking and 10/10 would recommend and stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at Richard’s place! The home is cozy, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better—everything we wanted to do was just a short distance away. Richard was also incredibly responsive and helpful, answering any questions we had right away. Honestly, I can’t imagine anyone having a negative experience here. Highly recommend!

Don’t judge a book by its cover…this house may be unassuming on the outside, but inside it’s clean, cute, and larger than you would expect. Beautiful backyard that was thoroughly enjoyed by our dogs.

There was a lack of communication from the start, but once everyone was on the same page, we were fine! The beds were very comfortable and the place was spacious for the 4 of us.

This is comfortable stay with a very convenient location for exploring the Twin Cities. We enjoyed our stay!

Barbara really went above and beyond providing everything we needed during our stay. We found a hand written welcome note next to some chocolates and the information about the house and neighborhood. The house was sparkling clean with lots of fluffy towels and bath robes. The kitchen even came stocked with food, which was really nice to have in the morning for a quick breakfast. I would highly recommend staying at the Seward House!

This is the second time we have stayed with John and Melanie. It was great three night stay. We may just do it again in 2025.

The space was very homey and cozy. Adorable decor. All details taken care of . Everything needed and more in the kitchen. However, the stairs down to the space was difficult to navigate. Jody was extremely thoughtful and friendly. I highly recommend staying here!

We had a great time staying at the Fungalow! Everything was clean and the instructions were very clear, all we had to do was show up and enjoy. There wasn't a water filter when we booked the reservation, but the host was happy to pick one up for us prior to check-in. We spent a lot of time walking to nearby bars and restaurants, there was so much to do. You don't get bored staying here, and we sure didn't.

Very cute little cottage in a beautiful location. 2 deer came right up to the front window and stared at us. Very clean and the owners were very responsive to the couple questions we had. It had amenities we needed but the TV was confusing. We wanted to watch the morning news with our coffee but couldn’t seem to find local news channels.

Had a great stay on my 3 night work visit. The space was well decorated with lots of interesting touches. The bed was comfortable. On site parking was convenient. The instructions from Colin were clear and communication was timely.
