Quietly located accommodation which is very nice, while remaining close to Brive for all the shops, there is nothing missing! Sandrine and her husband are very welcoming! They are good tips for restaurants and local activities/tours. The pool is very nice even if the weather for our week wasn't there to make the most of it. The accommodation is exactly as described, it is very well equipped and very clean. We wouldn't have to worry about coming back!

Fantastic property in a great location. We loved how private it felt whilst still only being a short hop to breath taking locations. The pool is outstanding and everything is clean and catered for. If you want to visit a beautiful place, receive a wonderful warm welcome and be sad to leave then this is the place for you!

It was an unforgettable vacation! Villa with a stunning view in complete unity with nature and at the same time 5 minutes drive to the city. Excellent covered terrace with a swimming pool allows you to enjoy nature, silence and fresh air even in rainy weather. The hosts were very responsive and ready to help. The house has everything you need. Thank you very much for our unforgettable vacation!!!

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

We had a wonderful stay at Florence's in her beautiful rural house located in the splendid Dordogne Valley. Florence was an exemplary host, always available, very kind and full of good tips for discovering this rich region. The house was impeccably clean, very quiet, perfect for resting and enjoying nature. In the evening, we were able to admire an incredible starry sky thanks to the low light pollution, which made our experience even more magical. Thanks to Florence for an unforgettable stay!

Very good villa in a quite location near Sarlat centre. A little too far to walk to the town centre (steep narrow roads), however Emmanuelle gave us directions to a free car park which was only 2 minutes from the villa and only a 5 minute walk to town. The villa is equipped with a good range of facilities, including dishwasher, large fridge freezer and washing machine. Plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery/cooking pans. There are 4 good sized bedrooms, 3 with en-suite facilities and one with only a bath, which was a little inconvenient as the toilet was outside the room. There is a good gas fired barbeque at the front of the villa with comfortable outside dining facilities. The pool area is very nice and secluded. It has good quality sun loungers and a couple of easy chairs under a gazebo. It was a little too cool to use the swimming pool during our visit, however it should be very pleasant in warmer weather. Everyone had a great time.

Sylvie's place was perfect for our stay. There is nothing missing in the house and Sylvie even thought of the little ones by offering us a baby bath and dishes suitable for infants (not including the crib and high chair). The accommodation is very clean. It was a pleasant stay in this quiet house. Sylvie takes care to welcome families and it's easy to communicate with her. We'll be happy to go back to Sylvie's place.

The house in perfect order and cleanliness, very comfortable and welcoming. The very friendly hosts welcomed us with a homemade walnut pie. Jerome recommended us places we were missing to visit since last year we had been in the area. The whole family and our dog were very comfortable. Very grateful for your hospitality.

We only stayed 3 days without unfortunately being able to enjoy the very nice pool for lack of capricious weather, but appreciated the many quality household appliances, sufficient dishes, etc. The house is very well-equipped and very clean. Our host was responsive and attentive to our comfort.

We had a pleasant stay at Périgord Noir thanks to the good location of Francis' cottage. The cottage is very well decorated and above all super well-equipped. The garden is a real plus for a family with children like us and Francis is very friendly and accommodating on the arrival time. We recommend Francis and his place for a peaceful stay!

Very good stay in Groléjac to end the year 2024. The accommodation is perfect for 2: very comfortable, very well-equipped and very well located for visiting the many remarkable sites of Périgord Noir and the banks of the Dordogne. Thierry is a very welcoming host.

Lovely gîte in beautiful setting with fantastic outside spaces. Superb pool with beautiful views towards Sarlat. Wonderfully equipped accommodation with everything you could need. It was lovely to turn up and have the beds made and not have to shop for any of the essentials such as dishwasher tablets, bin bags etc. Katie was a wonderful host, with a great knowledge of the area. She provided an excellent welcome pack which we really appreciated. We had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to recommend.

An ideal place to recharge your batteries in the middle of nature, quiet, and in the middle of the holm oaks while being close to the pretty village of Catus, its local shops and its Lac Vert. The covered terrace allows for perfect moments of relaxation and healing. Communication with Stéphanie and Stéphane is perfect in terms of the organization of the stay, access to the accommodation until the day of departure. A place where you feel "at home", which makes you want to come back or share.

Beautiful holiday home, fully kitted out with everything you might need. It was also pristine in terms of cleanliness. Sam (the host) was extremely helpful when we arrived (and flexible as we were running late) and was on hand with any questions throughout our stay. The house was extremely comfortable and finished to a v high spec (blackout blinds, aircon etc). Lots of toys / games to entertain the children (and us!). Travel cot and change mat was provided for free for our 10m old, the electric pool cover felt v safe with the children as well (and looked nice for a pool cover!). The vegetable garden was a nice touch (we were lucky with tomatoes, courgettes and peaches from the garden). 4 nights was not enough, we could have stayed a lot longer. In terms of local visits, we managed to see the Marqueyssac gardens, Castelnaud and Sarlat but there was plenty more close by, the house was really well located. Thanks for a brilliant stay - we will be back!

Great weekend with the family in great calm and close to Sarlat and its surroundings for beautiful visits.

Maud's house is lovely. We went there in winter so we couldn't enjoy the pool. But everything else was great. We enjoyed the master suite located at the entrance to the house. Very nice decor! Thank you Maud, we'll come back to visit the region in spring or summer.
