Cabin vacation rentals in Carlisle

Chubb Hollow was the perfect getaway for our joint bachelor/bachelorette cabin weekend. The pictures really don't do it justice. It was the perfect space for our party of 11 adults with plenty of extra room for a larger party. Almost every room has it's own bathroom that are all stocked with the essentials including soap and shampoo. The coffee and tea bar was fully stocked and the open kitchen and living room space was spotless and beyond comfortable. If you're looking for a secluded, peaceful, quiet getaway, look no further. We can't thank Eldon enough for a wonderful weekend!

It was great. Matthew and his wife were super responsive. It was nicr to be disconnected once we got the there. Would definitely love to come back.

Mary’s cabin was perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. The cabin was clean, cozy, and we felt right at home. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook simple meals. We had enough service (AT&T) to send and receive texts which was a pleasant surprise. We can’t wait to visit again in the warmer months to explore the property!

We had a fabulous girls getaway at this cozy cabin! The living room was comfortable for endless hours of laughter as we were able to catch up. The location is close to Hershey for good food and drinks. The cabin is exactly as pictured on the listing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and perfect for what we needed. It was wonderful to be able to sit in the hot tub and look up at the night sky! Would definitely book here again!

Henry was great to work with, very responsive and helpful. The home was beautiful and clean, with plenty of space for our family weekend away that included 4 children. Our son and daughter-in-law enjoyed the hot tub one night, and we loved the large table for playing games together in the evening. As another review stated, there isn't anything to do close by, but we didn't plan to do anything but enjoy family time away anyhow... and we did.

This place was quiet, tucked away on what felt like the side of a mountain. Flowing creek and feont porch was favorite spot to sit. Perfect for dogs. Cute little local bar right up the road. Overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend. We will be back :)

The home was beautiful and clean. It was a short drive to town for supplies and to the lake for some fresh air. Our family loved the space to spread out for sleeping. Beds and bedding were so comfortable and the wooded setting was dark and peaceful, all of which made for restful sleep. The kids loved the game space in the basement- playing ping pong, air hockey, and on the PSII. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for making family meals and the large dining table allowed for the 10 of us to eat together. All of this, plus we were able to enjoy all of this with our 2 dogs. Ellen was responsive to a couple of questions and needs, as well as understanding when an item was accidentally broken. The only concern was some additional rules that were not on the original listing, but were messaged a few weeks before our reservation.

We stayed here for 3 days while at the Horse World Expo. It was beautiful and the perfect place. I brought my dogs as well and it was perfect for them as well.

One of the best AirBnB’s I’ve stayed in. The property is so beautiful and secluded, and the house is the best of cozy, rustic cabin and modern amenities (brand new kitchen, sound system, smart tv, etc.). Everything was super clean and well-organized. They had everything we needed for our stay, from cooking supplies to firewood, and even provided snacks and warm slippers. Jessica was very communicative and was an excellent host. Perfect destination for a group trip getaway in the Poconos, would highly recommend!

Jessica’s cabin and sauna stay was amazing!! I took a personal retreat here over New Years and was blown away. The place is beautiful and everything was exactly as described. Jessica was super helpful and responsive. Instructions were clear and helpful. I feel refreshed and relaxed. I especially love the skylight right above the loft bed. 10 out of 10 would love to stay again and will recommend this restful retreat to others.

We had a wonderful three-night stay! The home was clean, warm, and cozy, with a beautiful ambiance—especially the fireplace, which made it even more inviting. I also loved the soft water, which made the stay even more comfortable. The host was attentive and quick to respond, ensuring we found the place easily and had everything we needed. Our stay was wonderful!! The cabin was exactly what we expected and was very clean. It had everything for a cozy relaxing weekend. The views were gorgeous and the hosts were very responsive.

The location was great and exactly as described in the listing. It is very secluded and a great place to get aways from everything. I believe that it was the cleanest Airbnb that I have stayed in.

The space was perfect -- cozy and clean. The area was quiet, the heating system was comfortable, and even though it was a rustic cabin, it was very clean and warm. It has its own entrance, and is set apart from the house, so there is no noise from hosts' activities. The bed was lovely. There were a few streaming options/ROKU. (I discovered that the batteries were dying in the remote my first evening, and there were fresh batteries put outside the door within a few minutes of messaging Angela!) It was a peaceful and rural setting, yet convenient to restaurants/convenience store. It was perfect for what I needed and I would for-sure go back again.

The running creek was so calming to listen to in the evening, the kitchen very well stocked and the festive lights on the front porch helped to guide the way when we were driving back in the evening. Family of 5 met( from many states- college etc..) to spend Christmas week in Dreamtime and to visit with extended family in the area! A few stand outs: hot tub, cleanliness, comfort, walk area, view, suite style bedrooms so everyone has their own space, fire burning stove inside and pit outside with supplied firewood!!! Seriously stocked with extras, responsive host who is kind, thoughtful and generous! We caught up around the fire pit, cooked holiday meals together, played games, walked the perimeter woods, soaked in hot tub and cherished the time. Place has all you need (space and supplies) to do so! Will Recommend to friends and return if able to travel back to area!! Thank You Ozlem!!!

The cabin was very nice and clean and look like it did in the photos. They were great host very helpful and seemed like all around nice people would definitely booked their cabin again thanks for letting us stay !!! Rudy & Becca

The place was perfect tucked away in the woods with plenty of its own space. We absolutely loved it as we needed a place to recharge and get out of the norm for a few days. Everything was as explained and clean. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back again

One goal for our stay this fall was to get away from the world a bit, and the Pamela's comfortable log cabin down the woodsy road did the trick. Although there are other houses around (and I imagine it's a busy place in the summertime), at this time of the year it was quiet, with occasional birdsong and squirrels on the roof. The nights were chilly but we were snug in the main room with the heater on - the outer, all-weather room was another story, but we didn't use it much. The cabin is 10 minutes from the town of Carlisle, which offers places to eat and things to do. The scenery was lovely on our drive to Shippensburg and to Chambersburg.
