Drie Kuilen is the ideal getaway to switch off from a busy schedule- we absolutely loved the various animals we encountered in the reserve- the peace and being surrounded by nothing but nature was beyond spectacular. Accommodation was exactly as advertised- friendly and helpful hosts- I would certainly recommend Drie Kuilen for a tranquil getaway.

Fantastic spot for a family holiday out of the city. We had a blast sampling country living for a week. Afternoon swims in the dam were definite highlights. Great spot.

The " Ouskool" is an amazing old building with ample space and breathtaking views. Easy to find yet you have the feeling of being alone in universe which is very relaxing. The garden is beautifully designed and kept. The peacocks are amazing and even eat out of your hands while the children area will keep your kids entertained. The plunge pool is larger in real life then on the pictures and is perfect to cool of while taking in the surrounding view. The house is perfectly in balance between comfort, off grid and ruggedness. 10/10 would visit again. The only point for us was the beds are pretty hard, however otherwise perfect!

We had a lovely stay at this tastefully decorated cottage. The ability to walk down and canoe and swim in the river is really special. The cottage was well equipped and the fresh bread, butter and milk much appreciated. We enjoyed the kol kol pool and braai area too. The beds are super comfy with stunning linen. Chandre's place was just right for my needs while traveling on business. It was tastefully appointed and decorated with a high standard of furnishings and bits and pieces to make it a home from home . Will certainly visit again if I have the opportunity.

Very nicely settled on a working farm - the daytime view is amazing and sunset is always great when mountain ranges are involved. The apartment (which is bigger than some houses in the U.K.) had everything you needed for a long or a short stay and the braai wood was exceptionally dry (which makes catering for a family of 5 a breeze). Swimming pool warm by Ceres standards and fairly large, with some shade from the 40 degree heat we had upon our arrival. As it’s self-catering, get your provisions before check-in, because once you’re there, you don’t really want to leave again. All in all a great place and it is child-friendly (i.e. not much stuff for a bunch of boys to get stuck into when things get quiet). Thank you for the stay.

The Rainbow Residence was a lovely place for us to spend 4 days in Franschhoek. It is beautifully decorated with an African chic vibe. All kinds of creature comforts have been provided in abundance. The view from the kitchen window is stunning! Monica, the manager, made us feel welcomed and kindly communicated the details that made our stay comfortable! We will plan to return! thank you!

Spent the first three weeks of 2025 on Danielle's beautiful farm. What a wonderful, peaceful way to start the year.

Great little spot! Absolutely idyllic. We enjoyed swimming in the dam too.

We had a lovely time in Paarl. The place was clean and cozy, and we even received some welcome gifts. We did stay here for a 2-week "workation", but found the internet is, for that purpose, not powerful enough. For everyday use such as e-mails and social media, it is fine. The pots and pans could use a replacement as well, but when we asked for some more pots because we love to cook, we immediately received some extra. We even had some other questions during our time there, but Lois-Marie was always fast to answer and provide a solution. Her husband and family are the nicest people and open for a talk where they give you the best tips on what to do in the area. The dogs that wander around are very friendly, it was nice having them around. We used the braaipit several times as it was great to enjoy a braai in the evening with the view on the mountains. The small but private pool was perfect to cool down during the hot summer days.

We had a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful stay. Sukkel Sukkel cottage far exceeded our expectations. The cottages are simple yet thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed and more. The care and attention to detail made it feel truly homely. The views on the farm are incredible, and the swimming dam was just what we needed on a hot day. Easy to access and enjoy, it was the perfect spot to unwind. Our experience was far from a sukkel. We highly recommend!

We stayed at Shane’s place for a night whilst settling our kids into university. It is the most beautiful and tranquil property, exactly as described, our only regret was that our stay was too short and very rushed. We will definitely be back, and stay longer next time.

We had such an amazing surprise when we arrived at Berry Guest Farm - Raspberry cottage. We had booked as a last minute break and due to the responsive host had just gone straight ahead without getting too much info. What a treat when we arrived with our 4 children. The farm is a child’s paradise with activities - from amazing zip lines, canoes that are free to use at any time, fishing, waterslides, warm pool, night time child friendly hikes with UV torches… the list goes on, but the plus is that the scenery and nature of the place makes it paradise for adults too. Surrounded by spectacular mountains, and a short distance from nature reserves with hikes, waterfalls, mountain trails and wildlife, well we were just spoilt for choice! We had no idea that the small airbnb we had booked offered all this and we will be sure to return with friends to book a few of the cottages and maybe even camp on the campsite. Note: the campsite was very close to the house but noise wasn’t an issue

All I say is Wow. Karee Kloof is an absolute alive of heaven that is available on earth. The surroundings are majestic, the silence deafening and the stars at night will leave your breathless. keeping with the experience is the most gracious hosting by Uncle Steve, Melanie and her beautiful family who treated us to the most amazing game drive. We can recommend Karee Kloof to anyone who is looking to leave behind the hustle and bustle of the city and who are looking to immerse themselves in peace, quiet and splendor. we already booking our next holiday at the farm!

We had a really wonderful stay at the cottage. The view from the balcony is so amazing 😍 And the cottage itself is full of art and character. Really feels like a proper home which my husband and I prefer over the more soulless Airbnb's we stayed at in the past.
