Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Cambridge

The location is in a quaint little village right next to Mildenhall, and not too far of a drive from Bury St. Edmunds and Cambridge. The family room was very large, and had its own separate bathroom. I like that it was away from the other available room so you weren’t able to hear any noise unless you were in the shared spaces. Sian was a great host, gave good recommendations, and was very attentive to my needs, especially since I had a longer stay than most.

Sophie and Nick made us feel right at home with their easy, friendly manner. (Nelly, the dog, was very friendly too!) We were greeted on arrival and shown to our accommodation which was as described, spacious and lovely and clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower lovely and refreshing. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked a table for an evening meal at The Weeping Willow in Barrow - 2miles away - on Sophie’s recommendation, which was excellent. (Nick even offered to give us a lift there!) Mind you, Nicks cooked breakfast in the morning was equally as good, and fresh strawberries accompanied our cereals too. We all left feeling relaxed, and well fed! Would highly recommend this place.

I enjoyed my last minute stay. Sian is very helpful and communicative. Even though I had some issues unable to check in a bit late, Sian was beyond helpful in making sure I'm in and comfortable.

Janet and her husband run an excellent establishment. Attention to detail was really good from the communication we had before arriving, organising a taxi and then tea and cake in the garden! The breakfast was yummy and again service warm and welcoming. Highly rate the stay!

I couldn't recommend enough a stay at Wendy's home. She was the most amazing host, facilitating every aspect of my visit, from picking me up and dropping me at the station to cooking the most delicious meals, driving me to places of interest, and being beyond generous with her time and space. I always felt welcomed as a friend rather than an Airbnb guest throughout my stay. Furthermore, the house is as beautiful as you can see in the pictures, and Noodle is the cutest dog. If you need to spend time in this area, there's no better place than Wendy's!

I enjoyed my clean spacious room in a pretty village South of Cambridge. There are as lots of space to park. An absolutely delicious breakfast was included for overnight guests. Helpful staff at the pub enabled me to check-in even when arriving rather late in the evening. It is very handy for my work place right there in Hinxton.

Simona was one of the finest hosts I’ve had had the pleasure of meeting! She provided coffee & crumpets for our mornings & even gave us a lift to the train station to save us from walking in the cold. Can’t say thank you enough & hope to visit again in the future!

Fiona’s place was honestly a home away from home. I was going through a difficult time when I stayed there because I was visiting a loved one in the hospital nearby. Fiona was super welcoming & when she found out the reason for my visit, she offered me a cup of tea & sat with me for a bit - I felt like I was visiting a family friend rather than staying in a bnb. Her dog, Gilbert, was also incredibly cute & fluffy. I would highly recommend!

Such a beautiful place to stay. We were made to feel very welcome by our host, Lisa. Great communication from the time we made our booking to the day of arrival. Our stay was to attend a wedding locally and due to traffic we were running late. Lisa went above and beyond to help us. Check in was very smooth. Home-made cake, tea, coffee were in our rooms and a lot of other thoughtful touches. The house is full of character and a lovely and relaxing place to stay. We all had a very good sleep in comfortable beds and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning including cereals, fruit, yoghurt, warm croissants, full English, juice, tea and coffee. I would highly recommend. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Very simple and straight forward. Scenic 20min walk to the city centre or less on public transport.

Eden and Kui are generous hosts, sharing their home and time to ensure our stay was comfortable. The newly renovated ensuite bathroom and comfortable beds were appreciated, although there was limited space to manoeuvre around our large suitcases. Despite a wide selection of restaurants, we preferred preparing our meals in their kitchen—thanks. Also a big thanks for sharing your thoughts on so many topics; we enjoyed our conversations immensely.

Liza and Mark were excellent host. We had great experience staying here! The communication with Liza was brilliant and very responsive. I appreciated the attention to detail and how easy they made everything. Highly recommend this place.

we only stayed for one night but Sue was helpfull and friendly and recommended a fantastic pub for a meal which was 5* for value and quality. Felt at home.
