We recently had the pleasure of staying in a beautiful lakeside cabin, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful surroundings and the stunning view of the lake. The cabin itself was immaculately presented, with tasteful decor that created a cosy yet stylish atmosphere. One of the highlights was the outdoor hot tub, which was perfectly positioned to take in the serene lake views. Whether it was enjoying a morning coffee on the deck or unwinding in the evening under the stars, it added such a special touch to the stay. The cabin was also well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal for a relaxing getaway!

We celebrated our mini-moon and wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful to relax and unwind for a couple of days. We were definitely able to get that here. The Stables was perfect! We were also really blessed with good weather. The accommodation was really comfortable and spacious, and we were able to make use of the outdoor bath too. The garden was dog proofed so we could let our dog into the garden and enjoy the space safely. You are quite away from nearby towns so do make sure you bring some provisions with you. This was what we were after, so we knew what to expect. I have recommended The Stables to all our friends and family!

We had such a lovely break. Private enough to reset away from the world. The Beehive is so quirky & different. We loved it. The host was super responsive. Would definitely recommend.

We had an incredible stay! The place was spotless, extremely clean, modern, and felt like a little slice of paradise. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. We loved the privacy and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Me and my 4 friends stayed here for the weekend and it was lovely! The outside surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure a good stay, bonus points that they got the hot tub up and running again! 😊 We would all return again, thank you both so much!

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay in Ed’s cabin. The scenery was stunning and we were provided absolutely every single amenity we might’ve need (including charging cables!) and the cabin was spotless. We had a lot of fun making fires and were only slightly humbled by the experience. Would strongly recommend for any looking for an intimidate getaway.

Brilliant staycation! Couldn't ask for anything more (aside from reliable british weather:p ) Cant wait to visit again!

A truly wonderful, peaceful, relaxing retreat. Hidden away on the Bosmore Park Estate near Henley on Thames, this retreat cabin is an absolute gem. The cabin is beautifully appointed, wonderfully clean and with lovely details like coffee pods, tea bags, dog treats, biscuits, big marshmallows, logs, firelighters, matches etc. The two bedrooms had lovely clean crisp cotton bedding. Towels and toiletries were provided. Our son and his partner joined us from London (a short trip to Henley on Thames to collect them from the station). The log burner and heating system worked brilliantly as did the shower and all the kitchen appliances. The outside decking was great for an alfresco breakfast and the fire pit was great for a late evening hot chocolate with those marshmallows, bananas filled with dark chocolate and other goodies. The surrounding area has fantastic walks, restaurants, pubs, houses, gardens to visit. Our furry friends, Fox Red Labrador and Cockapoo were welcome too. Perfection!

Cannot recommend this cabin more! Had such a peaceful evening here. Also would highly recommend a trip to Bolney winery and the Cider Tap - both absolutely gorgeous and so close to the cabin. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you Nick!

Amazing venue for a relaxing weekend away. Fantastic hosts who recommended great activities and local pubs. Very responsive to my many questions and very welcoming on arrival. Would highly recommend!

We stayed here as we had a family gathering locally. The lodge was very clean and very cosy. We were only here for 1 night but would stay again. could do with a name of the property visible as there are 2 identical properties and in the dark was tricky to figure out. other than that a perfect place to stay if you are visiting Oxfordshire

What a fabulous find. Booked last minute but that was not an issue. Really enjoyed our two night break on route to Cornwall. Sarah was a great host and the Arle Hut was beautiful in a perfect setting for a peaceful break. Spotless with a very comfy bed!

A beautiful, tranquil location, ideally situated for countryside walks. The Cabin is extremely well presented and equipped, with a homely, comfortable feel. Vanessa is a very welcoming and friendly host. There's tea, coffee, milk and wine waiting for you on arrival. We are very much looking forward to our next stay.

Sharon’s place is a cosy, quiet, private spot. Had all the things I needed for my 12 night stay.

Beautiful accommodation with everything you could possibly need included. We felt so at home and relaxed, the local area is beautiful and there is lots to do for walking or if you would like a coffee and cake or dinner locally. The extra effort that Sarah puts in such as tea and coffee and breakfast provided makes the stay extra special.

We had the most wonderful weekend at the hide, the cabin was immaculate and there was so much attention to detail. The outside bath tub was the highlight for us! Such a peaceful, secluded setting. We can’t rate this place highly enough and will definitely be back to visit again. We highly recommend visiting the Hambledon vineyard, we had an incredible meal before our tour. 15 minute drive from the hide. Rob the host was super responsive, so professional. Thank you 🙏

I have already booked to go back again for two weeks in June, that's how lovely this place is. Beautiful location, set on its own, on a farm, lovely and quiet with stunning outlook. The wood burner was very popular, Christine had already set it up ready for our arrival. Didn't get around to using the BBQ or Firepit Very comfy bed made it difficult to get up in the morning zzzz Thanks Christine and Mark for making us welcome.

Ali is a great host and the den was perfect for what I was looking for - a 24 hour retreat. The den is immaculate and has everything you could need, including an ironing board. Ali left a generous breakfast hamper and clearly communicated everything. Would recommend

The place is small and cozy, with everything you need to have a very good stay. With tasteful details, very good quality tableware, good furniture, good size of tv and even had a home theatre. I recommend getting around by bus as it's nearby.

Teana's place was a fabulous find! We have stayed in the area often over the years, but never been lucky enough to book in here. Lovely place, had everything we could possibly need and more! Friendly and responsive host. We hope to be back!

We loved staying here for our trip to Legoland, which was approximately 25 minutes away. Spacious, clean and with everything you need. Great communication from Andrew and easy to find. Lovely and private as well at the bottom of Andrew’s garden. A wonderful stay

Cosy little spot with lovely style – felt really welcoming. Super quiet at night, comfy temperature, and easy to find with shops just a couple of minutes away. I was only stopping briefly for a work event, so didn’t get to enjoy it fully, but would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again. Thanks, Sam!
