The stay was incredible, especially with the snow. The cabin was so cosy and comfortable. The owner Kate was so understanding and friendly even when we lost (then found) the key. Would 100% recommend and go again.

I had a very lovely experience. Host is very nice and her place is very clean and beautiful, i would say that it looks better on ground than picture...everybody there was very friendly. I was a bit scared because we are people of colour but I would say that I have never been happier

Lovely stay at Fellhill Pods. Accommodation was cosy, and plenty to do for the children on site. It snowed when we were due to leave and the hosts were wonderful and let us check out later. They even offered us an extra night stay if we couldn’t get home safely. We were able to leave, despite the snow, and we said we will return again.

Absolutely amazing getaway in this cute pod! It was more luxurious than we expected. Love the attention to detail such as the pod being cosy and warm on arrival and also the hot tub was just getting fired up for us by friendly and welcoming host. All essentials such as milk, cutlery, shower gel etc were already provided. The additional fizz and cheese board were extra special! This particular pod felt very private even though it was right next to a farm! We will be definitely be coming back again!

Amazing weekend- a warm bubble bath outside whilst stargazing was the best bit for me. Beautiful location and would definitely return.

The Herdie Hideaway was simply gorgeous! The location and surroundings are idyllic, the hut itself is spacious yet cosy, pristine, cute & had all you need for a trip away! Charlotte was at the end of the phone at all times and so helpful with local recommendations and updates on check in/weather etc. Will definitely be back and couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you 😍

Me and my friends surprised our friend for her birthday. We had a great stay and loved every minute. The area is gorgeous, the lodge is perfect and was very clean. The host was very clear and brilliant with instructions. We can’t wait to return :)

We had a great time at the observatory regardless if we could see any stars or not, unfortunately we can’t control the weather! We loved it that much we stayed an extra night, this is the best place to relax and unwind, you have everything you need in the cabin and toilet and showers and kitchen are very close also. We would really recommend the Indian takeaway nearby in Allendale and also the kings head for food. Both were amazing and there’s a cafe just down from the cabin that do great breakfast. Overall lovely stay and we would love to return in the summer to catch the stars. Thank you Helen and Alan

We had a great stay here. This caravan has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Everything is great quality and the sofas are super comfortable + it’s only a 10 minute walk to Cockermouth which has loads of restaurants, shops and pubs to choose from. The caravan is cosy, perhaps best for a couple due to the size however we enjoyed our stay immensely!

Fabulous break, just what we were looking for . Excellent lodge and surroundings. Beautiful views. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break

Carole and the team were just great - from start to finish they were friendly, welcoming and clearly worked as a big family! The park is beautiful, peaceful and ideal whether fishing for the weekend or getting away from noise and tech with the family or a loved one. Heather cleans the pods and vans immaculately and the recommendations for walks and places to go were helpful and made for a much needed relaxing weekend. Will definitely visit again. The hut was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly like the pictures (probably better!). It was roomy and homey and surprisingly very warm inside. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was nice and powerful. The bed was super comfy and the added bonus of the hot tub was just the cherry on top of the cake. Gorgeous! Lovely to wake up to the animals (especially the alpacas!) and the location was great. It was peaceful and private and easy to find :) We would 100% come back again.

an incredible few nights away at The Tranquil Otter for my partners birthday. From booking to checking out, we were left fully satisfied. clean, accessible and in a lovely location with access to a private row boat to explore the lake. We will definitely be recommending this place to all our friends and family. thank you for the perfect stay!

A great stay, super easy process of arrival and check in. Adam soon came and checked we’d settled in well and then we went for a meal at the fox and pheasant inn down the road which was also great. A very comfy, cozy stay. Would definitely recommend and will almost definitely be returning.

Loved my stay here. Would definitely be going back for another weekend. Wish we could stay for longer than 2 nights as it went very quick. Hot tub was amazing and peaceful at night. It is spacious for 2 people and I have really enjoyed it. Just like the pictures. There is not a lot to do near by however if you don’t mind driving to a few places I would recommend.

Just had a weekend break at Burns Farm and the place was absolutely beautiful and we had an amazing stay! Everyone is super friendly and the best place by far I’ve stayed for a weekend away! Highly recommend.

The cabin we stayed in was gorgeous! The views were immaculate and the cabin itself was spotless and the products provided were top of the range. The only thing to mention was that the top windows in the cabin didn’t have curtains so the sun woke us up - other than that, everything was perfect

My wife, two children aged 7 & 10 and I came here for 5 nights to celebrate my 40th Birthday. The hosts were lovely and very informative about things to do in the area such as visiting The Pheasant Pub and Restaurant by Bassenthwaite Lake which was picturesque as well as climbing Binsey hill and in general, just exploring the local scenery on foot with wellies equipped. The lodge was soo soo homely, we really didn’t want to leave at all. But did so with the fondest memories and the absolute intention of returning again. It was our first Airbnb experience, and what a wonderful one it was. Couldn’t recommend Ireby and this beautifully characteristic, homely lodge enough!!
