Vacation rentals in Cable Beach

The cottage is located just behind the US Embassy on a private street with around the clock security, so I felt very safe. The cottage itself was very comfortable and relaxing. It's only about a 8 minute walk to the beach and all the restaurants on the beach. The Fish Fry area is a little over a mile away, but you can take the bus for 1.50. The two restaurants we tried there, Goldie's and Oh' Andros weren't very good. I was very disappointed with my overall experience with the restaurants in the area. My savior was the McDonald's just down the street from the cottage. This was my first time in the Bahamas and more than likely my last. The beach was beautiful, but I'm from South Florida...

Michael was great! We had quite a bit of trouble finding the property because some of the directions are incomplete/incorrect. But Michael was wonderful about taking our calls late at night when we were trying to find it. (Poor Michael with all of our calls!) The keypad into the house was so easy and a great system. The house itself was gorgeous and spotless! The backyard/pool was so pretty. The neighborhood was beautiful and safe. The house is in a great location, just south of Baha Mar in a development called Lake Cunningham Estates. (In the Airbnb app it said WestWind, which is not right.) We will definitely return to this property! And I highly recommend this host!

Lou is an absolutely fantastic host. From the very beginning always responsive and engaging with us to make sure we were up to date and kept informed. Lou was also extremely accommodating. The place was exactly what we expected from the listing, bright, clean and had all the amenities we required. Comfortable beds, lots of space and very well taken care of. Everyone absolutely enjoyed the stay and would not hesitate to get any property from Lou in the future. Thank you Lou for making our stay amazing and memorable!

Another traveller called this place heaven’s gates and they were right on the money! Rarely can you find a place that offers both peace and quiet! Janet’s beach front cottage was home for myself, my wife and & 8 year old daughter for 10 blissful days! Sun, sand sea turtles, sting rays and even saw a reef shark! Amazing all of it! This has to be the most well appointed Airbnb we have ever stayed and I still can figure out how she keeps the towels so fluffy and soft. The communication was always amazing and she goes out of her way to ensure you have a great vacation! She even offered to make sure to get us a car rental if ours didn’t show up! When we were hit with an unexpected delay with our flight and she had not troubles offering us to stay at her home longer that the 11:00 am check out! Janet’s place is truly a wonderful place and although I can only wish she will have availability, we wish to return when and if we are able! Do not hesitate to book!

Lavelle’s Cottage was amazing! Such a neat & unique spot which truly offered an authentic island vibe/experience. The yard was vibrant with beautiful plants and palm trees. The outside deck was lovely for enjoying the pretty views and watching the sunrise each morning. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The interior layout as well furniture were both tastefully designed and very comfortable! Would certainly recommend Lavelle’s cottage to anyone visiting the beautiful island of Nassau 🇧🇸

We had a wonderful time at Kyrenes villa. She was a super host and no request was too large. Her communication was perfect from beginning to end and she gave us some great recommendations. She even helped us find a good spot to watch the Super Bowl. The location of the villa on Paradise Island was great. It’s within walking distance to several restaurants, shops, a small grocery store, the beach and Atlantis. We spent nearly everyday at the pool and there were always chairs available. The only bad thing about our stay was that we had to leave.

This property was amazing - comfortable, clean, and the location with view is spectacular! We had the beach to ourselves and was able to snorkel, look for shells and watch the sunset right outside our door.

The home was just as advertised. It was a great place to stay, and it was nice having a peaceful neighborhood. I want to say Jasmine is fantastic!!! She went beyond what a host needs to do in order to assist with transportation during the stay and getting to the airport to fly home. She was always professional, knowledgeable, easy to reach, and above all kind. I can’t say enough good things about her. She was a pleasure. from start to finish!!
