Ruben is a wonderful man, very helpful and quick to respond In addition to that place is clean and there are all the needs and I asked him to provide a fireplace and immediately bring it and the surrounding views are very beautiful and there is a special boat that allowed me to use it was a beautiful experience and worth returning Thank you 🙏🏼😍😍

A beautiful house in a beautiful setting. The house is fully equipped, nice that there is so much history in the house. You have a nice view of the water and the waterfall on the other side. We could see the Noordelicht from our bedroom window. The host is very helpful if you need something.

Everything was great!

Without exaggeration, this is perhaps one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. It is not only an astounding view, a beautiful chalet in beautiful surroundings, it is the exceptional garden that makes it extraordinary, the romance of an English garden in the rugged Norwegian nature. Also special, the chalet has no neighbours and behind it stretches a beautiful green forest up the mountain. With this forest as your back, you look out over a truly enchanting view, which changes every hour. The old part of the chalet dates from the 17th century and is very special and atmospheric. The modern part is equipped with all (tasteful) conveniences (good beds!) and here too… all the rooms are in wood with this special chalet-atmosphere. Last but not least, the contact with Beate was very pleasant and warm. She is pro-active and attentive. We felt very welcome in her house. Yes, it is a cliché, but we NEVER wanted to leave this Norwegian paradise. Very highly recommended!

Convenient and nice cabin in "townhouse". Spacious room solution for any kind of room. Parking right outside. Short distance to the slopes and alpine slopes. We had a great time!

Beautiful cabin, perfect for families with children. Located close to the ski lift and cross-country ski trails. We had an amazing stay!

Sensible apartment with covered entrance in the carport, so you can get in the dry shoe. Good disposition between bedrooms and a cozy kitchen-dining room with a wood-burning stove. We were away 2 adults and 2 children, which was a great fit for the apartment, which is also located in close proximity to Bortelid Skiing, and also in relatively quick walking distance to the grocery store.

From home, we couldn't see a floor plan of the apartment, so it was hard to judge that the living room is actually nicely large and the division of the apartment: living room and two rooms in extension of this, bathroom with entrance from the hallway and large room with private bathroom worked very well. Nice location in relation to the shop (where you could actually buy a lot at reasonable prices) and ski center as well as the view of the lake and mountains was lovely.

Very nice apartment, good beds, great location, well equipped. Absolutely amazing to be able to sit in the hot tub and look at the stars after long days on the ski slopes.

A really nice stay. A small nice apartment with everything you would need for your stay. Easy access to the small ski center. Keep in mind that there is only a small grocery store with what you need - but a little expensive - and otherwise far from other options. So it might make sense to shop along the way. Satu was a great host who responded quickly and was very helpful with our questions.

We were two families with three small children and a dog on a skiing holiday in Bortelid. The cabin was super nice and everything was as it should be. The cabin is within walking distance to the lifts and the cross country trails were fine. The host was easy to communicate with and flexible on check-in and checkout, as well as extra cleaning. All in all a good experience and the warmest recommendations from here :)
