What a great, comfy home in a beautiful location (so quiet and picturesque, with the lake and surroundings)! Perfect for our 3-night family getaway between Christmas and New Years - special memories were made. Karen was a very helpful and responsive host - her communication was great before and throughout our visit. Some floor rugs, throw blankets, and decorations might have enhanced the ambience. Also, we could have used instructions for the sound system (though we didn't ask while there). But we were very happy with the home, and very grateful for Karen's attentiveness. We would love to stay again!

My husband, our toddler, and I had the best little weekend here. Restful, serene, a cozy, the tiny house was a perfect getaway out of the city. We loved the farm animals and my toddler especially loved the alpaca and dog, Caspian. And the stars on a clear night were beautiful! The hosts were very friendly and responsive and made us feel welcome while also giving us privacy. Very glad to have found such a beautiful place close by to visit when we need some relaxation.

if you are looking for proximity to Bidwell Park this is the best Airbnb we have found. very cozy private space overlooking the park. ample parking.

This place was great for a little getaway. Especially if you are trying to leave from a big city. It was just the right amount of room for a couple or 2 couples. The projector was also a very nice. The rainfall shower was also perfect, if you’re picky about that kind of thing. Overall great stay!

Jill's very charming home was a comfortable place to stay close to family while in Chico for Thanksgiving (and I even discovered a family connection to the original owner of the house thanks to the cool historical information she included in the welcome book)! Jill was very welcoming and left her place unusually well stocked for guests, communicated clearly and quickly, and the place was exactly as described, with clear instructions for using amenities like the fireplace. The location is an easy walk from both downtown and Bidwell Park and couldn't be better. My two teenage daughters and I had a great stay (they both said it was so cute) and recommend highly.

My wife and I have stayed at quite a few Airbnb’s and we can say confidently that this is the best one we have had the privilege of renting. It was really cozy, the lights all have the option to dim to your liking and the beds + couch were very comfortable. Chico is the perfect getaway for a relaxing vacation, and being able to end the day in a nice, clean, home made it even better. The hot tub was super clean and stayed hot, the living room felt like a movie theater with the awesome tv, and the bedrooms were perfect with comfy pillows and empty dressers we could have our clothes in during our time there. We enjoyed our stay and would most definitely book again!

Beautiful place and absolutely comfortable. Rooms on the first story a bit cold, it seems the heather does not reach enough hot air downstairs. The whole house lace is just a joy to stay.
