Fab AirBnb, even better in person than online! The place instantly felt like ours, had everything we needed, spotlessly clean and very private with a sea view from bed! The bakery hamper on arrival was such a lovely added touch, as was the luxury feeling bedding, towels and bath robes. The place itself was a pleasure to spend time in with lots of charm and interest whilst still feeling like home from home. Hastings itself was a little quiet but we visited mid-week in February, so I’m sure it is more vibrant in the summer months, but this didn’t ditract from our visit as there were still nice bars and food. We recommend Porters bar for coffee and a cosy drink which is near immediately beneath the apartment, Fagins restaurant which is a few doors down, Dragon Bar for cocktails and chilled evening drinks, Dolphin Fish Bar for fish and chips and Judges bakery for really good coffee and pastries. Love Camber and go there often. This time it was a home from home with all the comforts needed, WiFi was perfect and a TV in every room! Lovely setting and not too far from restaurants.

Such a great flat - really cozy, really comfy, quiet and brilliant location to explore beautiful Rye, with all its wonderful shops, pubs and restaurants and to visit the surrounding areas. Welcome basket (eggs, croissants, nibbles, milk, wine) much appreciated. Parking right outside. Really hope to come back!

Amazing house and location to spend NYE in - really great size for a group of 8 of us and lovely very handy location. Lovely communal area and bedrooms were ideal. Bottle of fizz for NY was a lovely touch! Only a couple of small issues for next time to be aware of -the WIFI connection to the TV didn't really work and the beds were quite uncomfortable in the upper floor rooms. But for a night or two it's no issue.

Hannah is simply a delightful and insightful host. Very kind and graciously accommodating to our queries and needs. Not only is the environment warm and lovingly filled, it’s spacious and giving with memories, laughter and gleeful spells. Located in a very safe and welcoming neighborhood, that has an enchanting morning light; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the kids were ridiculously giddy with excitement to explore the toys and books available. We loved our stay - the OOD house is in an amazing location and has everything you need for a cosy, peaceful weekend. From the bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival, to pre-lit hot tub, it was all perfect. Helen, Vicky and Emma were all super helpful and provided loads of useful information in advance of our arrival. We particularly enjoyed the sheep walking past while we were in the hot tub, and waking up to the stunning view over the lake. We’d recommend guests doing the wine tasting tour at Henners - the team there were also brilliant.

What an incredible renovation Clare has made of Old Smock Mill. It's been beautifully restored and holds such history and charm. Set in idyllic surrounds with great walks for those who like to explore outdoors. Clare made us feel utterly welcome and we enjoyed our stay on every level of the three floors. The fresh homemade bread was a wonderful touch and thoroughly enjoyed with the most glorious of golden eggs. Much enjoyed after a heavenly night's sleep in bedding you just sink into. The Mill is incredibly well dressed, peaceful and provides the perfect little get away. Old Smock Mill certainly lived up to and even surpassed expectations. We have already recommended to friends and we wouldn't hesitate to go back. Perhaps next time in the summer months when the walking trails are firmer underfoot.

Excellent property. Owners were really nice. Can’t wait to go again when the pool is open. Went to a local pub called Coach & horses, excellent food there. We took our dog and owners kindly asked if we kept her on the lead when in garden of property as they have sheep but there’s a massive field with a woodland walk out back so was fine to let off the lead then. Barn is exactly as described. There’s some good little board games there and our kids got a bit obsessed with cluedo. Was expecting to be chilly as it’s a barn but the underfloor heating makes it really warm and cosy. Will definitely come back.

Zainab and Ciara were both really responsive and friendly. The property was nicely decorated and spacious. Only thing I would mention is that if the Dentist is open, you can hear a lot of what’s going on upstairs, but we stayed on Fri-Sun so as soon as the dentist closed it was very nice and quiet.
