Vacation rentals with a firepit in Burrill Lake

This is our second trip to this beautiful space in culburra and it’s quickly become our home away from home. John and Leigh are the kindest most responsive hosts I’ve ever met. Always attentive and helpful whenever possible. Their space is in such a convenient location, nestled between the beach and local shops and cafes but also an amazing space to host our large group’s annual beach trip full of laughter, backyard barbecue’s, big full dinners and board games. Their space is pristine and spacious and exactly as the pictures depict it to be, a small oasis to getaway to. Coming back to an Airbnb is not something I’ve ever done, I’m glad we did because this one is one that we’ll be coming back to annually from here on out. Thanks John and Leigh! Sophie's place was so nice. Nicely equipped for our family holiday of 9 people. Best was watching the sunset from the spa and the deck over the paddocks. Feels remote while being only a 5 minute drive to the water. The view from the kitchen is gorgeous. such a great setup.

We had an amazing time from the moment we got there. Easy to find and in a great spot with the coastal town feel even with the kangaroos roaming the streets! The place is perfect for young kids through to grandparents. The house has a great set up with a giant balcony the perfect place for all the family to eat and hang out with both a bbq and pizza oven. It also has a huge grassed area out front where we kicked the footy and played cricket with the kids. The bathrooms are clean and tidy but the kids basically chose to use the outside shower with hot water! The bedding set up is perfect for 2 young families with the bunk beds and 3 rooms with queen beds. There is so much to do!!! It is walking distance to the beach and playground where my kids had a great time exploring. We went over to Stingray Bay in bendy and fed these giant creatures which the kids loved. All in all it’s a great family house in which we really enjoyed the week and look forward to going back again in the future!

Beautiful location with wonderful beaches and safe swimming areas for children. House had lots of space for a family with fun activities such as soccer and table tennis. Lively “bowlo” club and Kombi cafe offered delicious eats.

Fantastic property for a large family to have a great break away together. We all thoroughly enjoyed this well presented house with everything needed on hand for a relaxing weekend. Thank you for allowing my family to make memories!

Dennis made our stay very comfortable at Grey Gums. We commend Dennis for his hospitality during our stay and would love to come back and explore the area even more. The place was homely and had everything you could need from the cooking basics and utensils to games areas, cozy corners to read a book in, and a firepit ready with kindling and firewood for sitting around and toasting marshmallows in the evenings. We really had a relaxing time there enjoying the location, being in the middle of nature, we couldn’t have asked for more, with things to do around the property in every direction - definitely would recommend traversing down to nelson creek and back as well as kayaking down kangaroo river to get lots of wildlife and bird watching opportunities.

10/10 would definitely book again. Looks exactly like photos. Huge living space, would be great for family with young kids. Great location for the national park. Ruth was super helpful!

Very nice unit, very clean and modern. Beautiful garden and sundeck out the back. My only caution would be, if you need a firm mattress, this might be a bit too soft.

This place was absolutely perfect. The place was in pristine condition, and it had so much character. Absolutely loved it. The place actually feels way bigger than the pictures show too. Very open space and a lot of outdoor area. The shower was my absolute favourite part of this AirBnB though. It was just lovely and perfect, I wouldn’t want to get out!! The host also was super proactive with messaging ahead of time about things before I even asked which was great and the whole experience was smooth.

Bronwyn‘s accommodation was exquisite. I feel totally relaxed, rejuvenated and rested. Beachfront location and broad water views, fresh sea air and sound of the ocean took me to another world. Every night I drifted into deep sleep, far away from everything and close enough to civilisation. Also loved the bushwalk amongst nature, together with a friendly safe neighbourhood with kangaroos in the local neighbourhood. all cafes and restaurants serve fresh variety of nutritious foods. Bronwyn’s extensive knowledge in all surrounding places was filled with enthusiasm and genuine care with attention to detail. I highly recommend surf beach retreat to anyone looking to reset their body, mind and spirit. For sleeping capacity would also be ideal for family and friends who would like to spend quality time and share these wonderful experiences giving memories for a lifetime together. Thank you Bronwyn for being an amazing host.

Graeme was an incredibly warm and hospitable host, helpful and kind! Great spot to enjoy nature, birds and animals. Close to beaches, the zoo and restaurants. Would highly recommend for families. Thank you Graeme!

I highly recommend a stay at Terrera Park! This farm was a private and beautiful stay with a very friendly guest. I went away here for the weekend for Valentine’s day with my partner and there were many romantic and awesome nature paths and swimming spot to go to which are very local !

We stayed at Lazy Curl for a girl’s weekend away and couldn’t have loved it more! Tyson was so friendly and inviting, extremely proactive with messaging days in advance with directions. The location itself was beautiful and cabin was so cosy!

wow....what a place, a hidden Forest gem, we both absolutely loved it, loads of space, quirky, great outdoor sitting areas, loads of indoor space, great bed and a complete tranquil Oasis. Karen and Terry were lovely and very helpful, would highly recommend staying here, probably one of the best air bnb's we've ever stayed in, will definitely return.

The Ooaree Farm Cabin has a lovely rustic feel, with a fresh light-filled bathroom (which must be recently updated yet still charming and not overly modern). The property is private, beautifully landscaped, with cows wandering past and birds chirping. Don't think we heard a single sound of civilisation while there. It has the amazing blend of feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere while being only a 5 minute drive from Gerringong, its restaurants, beaches and views. The photos represent it very accurately. If you want to unwind, this is a wonderful place to do it.

Bawley Ridge is amazing. There are plenty of animals, goats to feed, alpacas, ducks,geese. The cottage was well stocked and with a welcome basket that included freshly baked bread fresh eggs from their chickens, butter, honey and that was just the welcome basket. The fire pit was stocked and ready to go with kindling and the wood was plentiful. We had a wonderful stay and experience. The best is sitting by the fire and stargazing. Camilla and her farmhand Zac were extremely friendly and more than helpful. It is a perfect place to stay and unwind. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

5 Stars – Perfect Jervis Bay Getaway! This studio is an absolute gem! Cute, quaint, and impeccably clean, it’s the perfect base for exploring Jervis Bay. Less than 10 minutes from Hyams Beach, super close to the national park, and with Woolworths, Aldi, and a small shopping center just two minutes down the road, the location couldn’t be better. David and Juan are so lovely and approachable—David was especially helpful when our fridge was accidentally left open. They also had great local recommendations! This was my second stay here, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next summer. So affordable and priced just right for what you get and where you are. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place, tranquil and close enough to Berry for a coffee. The outdoor bath is lovely although the creek was low and it was a bit confusing where we were meant to climb in, maybe a little arrow to help guide us would have been good! We saw a wombat and some beautiful wildlife so came away feeling relaxed - Thanks!

We had a lovely stay. The unit was up one flight of stairs. Nice quiet place opposite the water. Great bike/walking track.
