Vacation rentals in Bumphead

great place to stay right on the lake. we went to see it snow and it was great to have a nice yard for the kids to play in and a nice walk down the street. location was just a few minutes from town. If we go back to macon we will book this house again. thanks John

We were comfortable from the moment we walked through the door of this house. It's welcoming with an ideal balance of private and communal space, inside and out. The kitchen had everything we needed, so over three days we ate every meal at the house. We didn't always need to cook because there was prepared food within a few minutes' drive. Susan provided plenty of suggestions for groceries, restaurants, and activities at Veterans State Park. We all slept great and attribute that to the quality of the bedding and mattresses as well as the sense of peace in the neighborhood. We spent evenings working on a puzzle enjoying a cozy fire and the fairy lights around the mantle. The wifi allowed remote work. Susan communicated well and was quick to respond to questions. She was personable and welcoming. We look forward to returning in warmer weather when we can take advantage of the pool and spend more time on the dock watching the sunset. We couldn't be happier with our stay. Thanks, Susan!

The house was clearly newer construction and very comfortable and clean. Plenty of beds, and each bedroom has comfortable, firm beds, plenty of closet space, and a large smart TV. The kitchen is wonderful and a joy to prepare food in, and the coffee station with a selection of coffee and teas was a much appreciated. The 2 bathrooms were very clean and spacious. Overall it was a very pleasant stay for my son’s RASP graduation.

This is a beautiful home. It sits on Lake Blackshear/Flint River on a breathtaking lot. Everything was squeaky clean, it has comfortable beds, awesome views, games, privacy, a garage (which was wonderful because it was raining when I arrived. The house has a great floor plan. we just loved everything about it <3

This Airbnb was exactly what we needed while in town for a funeral. Gorgeous setting, so peaceful. Had all we needed. Clean and comfortable. No complaints! We’ll stay again when in town to visit family. Thank you.

me and my husband enjoyed this place. the bathroom was a bit cramp but the water pressure was amazing. we're 4 minutes away from driving from a few good restaurants and coffee shops. i1

Excellent stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made the entire experience seamless. We greatly appreciated the accommodations for an earlier check in and later check out. The space was private and the deck/dock area was so nice to sit on in, even in the chilly January air. The living room couch was so comfortable and the perfect space to watch football as a family. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to others!
