This cozy ski chalet was EVERYTHING! The location is perfect - less than 20 minutes to the mountain perfect for 2 days on the slopes. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fully stocked and nice and clean. A few reviews mentioned the noise from the busy road, but it never bothered me inside and I'm a fairly light sleeper. We will absolutely be back for the next ski season!

Two families stayed for two nights. Four adults and five total kids. There was space for all of us to rest comfortably. The kitchan had high quality everything and we were even able to make pour over coffee. We enojoyed being so close to the Schweitzer ski resort, but do plan on making a short drive over to the resort each morning that you plan to ski. My sons and I did walk back from Schweitzer one night and it requires walking along the main road into the resort. But still only a 12 min walk away. Hot tub has heated walking pads across the back porch to the tub A+ Host is very accomodating and the cabin was cozy and overall provided a nice stay on the mountain.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the ranch. The cabin was comfortable and Wayne was welcoming and accommodating when needed. Wayne said we could help ourselves to vegetables from his garden! The pastures and horses, deer and wild turkeys, all added to our Montana experience. The local towns, although a bit of a drive were interesting and enjoyable. We are seniors and would have preferred not to have had stairs to climb, but overall we loved it.

We loved this cabin and all the amenities. It was so relaxing. We loved the hot tub and how close it is to trails. We’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy the water.

Great location at the bottom of the Schweitzer access road. Nice high dining table that could seat 9 people easily. Well stocked kitchen. Cozy.

Jamie’s cabin is absolutely amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. The house is spotless with amazing amenities. The house is beautiful with an amazing updated kitchen. Every kitchen accessory you need is in the house! The living room is stunning with a gas fireplace that completes the feel of modern yet rustic. The views from the deck are amazing and the hot tub is clean and relaxing. The bathroom is spotless and updated. The bedroom is cozy and comfortable. I cannot say enough about how beautiful the house is and how friendly and responsive Jamie is.

Our stay was great. The house was very well equipped. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, utensils, etc. for cooking. Furniture and bedding were very comfortable. My only complaint would be that the master bathroom shower has awful water pressure. I absolutely could not get warm enough.

This A frame is so cozy and perfect for a weekend getaway. The view is really great and location is perfect for Schweitzer skiing!

What a great cute cabin off the grid!! The location was great in proximity to trails and hiking. John was great about clear instructions especially because he knew he'd be unavailable the weekend I'd be there. There were a lot of instructions but it was so easy to follow that I had no issues what so ever. John did a great job setting up this cabin and the amenities. I'm sure it's even better in the summer but the coziness even when cold with the wood fire stove was great for just relaxing and reading. Although random, the bathroom decor was my favorite. To find out what I mean, you'll just have to book with him. I promise it's worth it!

I had an incredible stay at this cozy little cabin nestled in the heart of Trout Creek. The cabin itself was the perfect retreat—warm, inviting, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were absolutely fantastic, providing thoughtful touches and quick communication to ensure everything went smoothly. If you’re looking for a serene getaway in a beautiful, remote setting, this cabin is a perfect choice. I can’t recommend it enough!

Nice little place. Very good communication from host and even got it ready early for us. Only negatives were there was no propane on the grill and I found out I can't sleep on a memory firm mattress. Other than that good stay.

After a day snowboarding at Schweitzer, the bathtub was a lifesaver for sore muscles. The drive to the mountain each morning was straightforward, though it’s closer to 30 minutes to the roundabout. The cabin’s ambiance is spot-on for relaxing after the slopes: cozy, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. Whether you’re curling up with a book or just enjoying the peaceful setting, it’s easy to settle in. If you’re heading to Schweitzer or want a relaxing mountain retreat, I’d highly recommend this spot. I’m already thinking about my next visit!

We had 8 people and didn't feel at all crowded - it would actually sleep 10 and the common areas were very comfy. The bear decor was fun! It would be hard to find a place better stocked and equipped than this one - from everything imaginable in the kitchen, down to games and movies for all. The only thing we lacked was shampoo (you might want to bring your own). Loads of towels and bedding! We would highly recommend this beautiful getaway. There is also a babbling brook on the property where we could totally relax.

If you're looking for breathtakingly beautiful scenery and peaceful serenity in nature, rent Jennifer's cabin. You will absolutely not be disappointed. On top of offering a clean, comfortable, private cabin Jennifer is a wonderfully friendly host and great communicator. I felt welcomed upon arrival and renewed and refreshed upon departure. I will absolutely be renting Jennifer's cabin again in the future, if she will have me.

After staying at the cabin, I think it just might be my favorite rental yet! Everything was beautiful and perfect just like the pictures, and Kris and Rachel were perfect hosts. We will definitely be booking here again in the future!

The "Nest" is one of a kind, at least it is for my wife and I. We appreciate it and have more than enjoyed each stay there, this time in December, with some snow. We can imagine being there in the dead of winter with feet of snow instead of inches and would welcome it all the same. The Troy and Libby area have most all needed...not much of a night-life but we are not there for that. We LOVE the ambience of the "Nest", its location, and the wooded outdoors, always have and always will. We respect the "Nest" and its owners especially for allowing others to experience their slice of Heaven on Earth. We would very much enjoy another stay another time...

Beautiful and quiet location! House was very clean and as described. Enjoyed spending everyday down at the dock. Little bit of a hike back up but good exercise. It was perfect for our family of 5!
