Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Buena Vista

We loved our stay at Jill's house. The location is excellent--just a few blocks away from both the main street and the Mineral Belt, with beautiful views all around. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the fenced yard was a huge bonus for our dog! Jill was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

We had such a great stay. The home was very welcoming and we felt comfortable from the moment we checked in. The fenced in yard was perfect for our pet. We would definitely stay here again on future travels!

Rob's home is a perfect home base for a stay in Buena Vista! It is walkable to downtown and close to lots of trails and activities. The large backyard is ideal for dogs!

What a wonderful homey place to celebrate Christmas! Beautiful surroundings, a bedroom for everyone, a cozy fire a fully equipped kitchen and a gorgeous hot tub made it a great memory. Would happily recommend!

We had a great stay at Katie’s house. It is only a block from Main Street and restaurants and shops. The house is cute and was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

This 4 bedroom 3 bath Salida rental was the perfect size, configuration, and location for our family of 10. The kitchen was quite spacious and well-equipped, and a gas grill was available on the back patio as well. Furnishings, beds, and linens were clean, attractive, and comfortable. It is a short pleasant walk to this historic town for shopping, good food, and a wide variety of water activities...(including surfing!) on the Arkansas River. Our super host, Charles, provided clear, thorough and helpful information. His quick responses to any questions or concerns we may have had made the whole process stress free from start to finish. Our family had a wonderful time in this Salida rental, and would highly recommend it as an ideal place to gather and enjoy!

This was a very quaint and cozy place. We felt right at home, the location is great for all the activities in the area. The decor is well thought out and it was great to have a binder with recommendations of food and fun.

Nice place with lots of room, close to town and the river. We would stay here again if we come back to BV.

Perfect place to stay if you’re spending your days exploring the town and want a private place to sleep. Easy access to town, full kitchen and plenty of towels/blankets available. We had perfect weather to sit outside for breakfast and dinner. We hope to book again next year

Peaceful place to stay in the countryside of Colorado. Near a lot of good places to hike and ski. Enjoyed the space of the Airbnb and would stay again.

This is a lovely place to stay in BV. We loved the carefully executed decor and enjoyed the personal story of the owners. The location was great for walking in that part of town and it was fun walking the trail by the river. Overall, we thought it one of the nicest places we’ve stayed!

I absolutely LOVED this Airbnb. It was priced well and it was private. It had everything we needed and more. The studio was clean and well decorated. It was wonderful to have access to a kitchen, and tv. The location was perfect with a beautiful view of the town and right above a coffee shop. I stopped by there almost every day we were there. The location is central to the town and made it alright to get to beaver creek for snowboarding. 15/10 will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic stay. The most unique Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Location is downtown Salida…walkable everywhere. Easy to find parking. Had all the comforts of home. Would definitely stay again.

I can’t recommend Penny’s place enough! The apartment was perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing and Penny offered us the use of her boot driers, which was absolutely fabulous! We also appreciated the quiet and peaceful environment of her neighborhood. Thumbs up all the way!!

We had a very relaxing time at William and Brandy's place. My husband got to ski the whole day we were there, and I got to be warm and homey in the apartment. The apartment had incredible views of the mountains, was so clean, and had every amenity we needed. Brandy and William were very attentive and kind. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend it to anyone who comes to Leadville!

Such a great Airbnb! So easy to walk to everything in the area (less than 10 min walk). The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need (dishes, coffee filters, cooking utensils and pans), and linens were plentiful. Melissa gave many great local recommendations, and the apartment is located in such a serene and quiet area. We will definitely be back!

Affordable and convenient for a weekend in Breckenridge. A great no-frills option. Sara was great about communicating and appreciated the place was as advertised.

We had a very nice experience! The place had a great location, was clean and had so much charm in a historic building. It was adequately furnished with what we needed and being able to used the building's washer and dryer was a bonus. We found that the team was very responsive to our wants and needs. We would stay with them again!

Great location! Right in the middle of downtown. Small walk to the river, restaurants, etc. Gina's place was clean, and has a lot of character. There are many blankets and amenities for your comfort, however, it is a shared common area and noise travels. we recommend bringing ear plugs just in case. We loved staying here and would love to come back again!

We had a great weekend stay. The apartment was well stocked, clean, and beautifully decorated. It was easily walkable to trails, restaurants, and shops.

As you can see from my past reviews, there is no place I’d rather stay in Salida.
