Family-friendly vacation rentals in Bruton

The apartment is really central to all the sites, shops, restaurants etc and less than a 10 min easy walk from the station. We found the beds really comfortable and the apartment was both spotless and spacious. The hot tub was a welcome bonus at the end of the day & the fairy lights made it feel even more relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

We stayed at Ed’s place for two nights over the weekend and it was everything we needed and more. Set in an idyllic peaceful location, we had a huge field to ourselves which was extremely quiet where we heard nothing but birds and nature during our stay. The dog loved it! We asked for the hot tub to be lit for arrival which was a perfect end to the afternoon of travel. We stopped off at Waitrose on the way to stock up for the weekend and on the Saturday drove 30mins to bath which had beautiful restaurants and pubs. The cabin was fully equipped with everything needed, the robes were a great touch. The bed was extremely comfortable, keep windows closed to keep spiders out! Thank you to Edward and Carleen for a lovely and relaxing stay.

An absolutely fantastic stay! The place is beautiful and so clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was amazing and had just the right amount privacy. The added bonus was having the bus stop at the end of the lane meant that we visited Bath in the day with ease (buses run every 10-15 minutes). Couldn’t fault the stay! Would definitely recommend: I look forward to revisiting at some point!

Kate was a fantastic host. The accommodation had everything we could need and was spotlessly clean. It’s in a fantastic location, very close to city centre but in a very quiet road and close to a brilliant pub. We will definitely check availability next time we return to Bath!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hut has beautiful surroundings which we enjoyed from the hot tub. We walked to a cafe and then drove into the local town and went to a really nice pub. The hut was clean and had everything we needed. Thanks Fiona 😊

We had such a fantastic time here. What a great place! Mel and her family have created a wonderful space for wildlife, bees, sheep and people in need of some time in nature. Sitting outside the tent on the decking watching the moon rise over the trees... seeing a red tailed kite flying overhead hunting... sitting around the fire by candle light chatting with my family... this beautiful space created just what I was needing. Thank you Mel! The tent was great. Mel has made a cosy, comfy haven with loads of character. It is a tent so it's noisy in the wind, as you would expect. Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise when sleeping. The wood burning stove made the place lovely and toasty at night. We were there in September so the evenings were chilly. I'd go to bed wearing lots of layers but with the warm duvets I always ended up peeling off layers when the bed warmed up. If there is any way we came come back to the area again we'll be staying here for sure.

A second very comfortable stay, thank you! This is a beautiful, well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfy property. The hot tub is brilliant, with lovely views over the fields behind. We also appreciated all the thought that has gone into making guests comfortable, from the fresh milk and local cheese in the fridge, to the home made cake, to the stove made up ready to light, and not to forget the extremely comfy beds. Communication was always prompt, friendly and helpful - we were very grateful for the flexibility around check in and check out times. We will hope to come back!

Absolutely brilliant place. Nicola was a fantastic host. Breakfast was a lovely touch and very appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone ! And the hot tub was a brilliant facility to have :) Would 100% stay again !!!

Bradford-on-Avon is a lovely town to stay in and to explore, and is also a great location to stay to access Bath. This house is so close to the British Rail station that we were able to use the train as a 10 minute shuffle service and avoid the hassle of Bath traffic and car parking.

I chose this place for its location and the lay out - very sociable, good for my family stay. The flat has a lovely feel to it. Also very quiet considering it’s next to a main road. Unloading and loading the car was done as quickly as possible outside the flat, the steps up to the flat need to be taken with care. Parking was Ok round the corner.. The view of the park opposite is great. The kitchen is well equipped. Jason always got back to me within 6 hours which was great until I locked my keys inside the flat. ( my bad) He responded as soon as he could and the problem was solved, 6 hours later. Thank you Jason.

Admirals cottage is truly a beautiful place to stay; the cottage has so much character and was extremely clean, there is so many local beautiful walks and it felt so homely. Also a games room and farm on site with some friendly goats! We can’t wait to return one day and couldn’t have asked for better accommodation. Thank you Emma & Susan

Nick’s cottage, The Home Cottage, was perfect for our stay. It was an ideal location with lovely views and very peaceful. It was clean and well equipped and had everything we needed. Loved the log burner. We went to The Talbot Inn in Mells, upon Nick’s recommendation, it was great and the food delicious. Thanks Nick.

Tony's place is a very comfortable 4 bedroom house with spacious rooms. Just like in the picture, very neat and tidy. It was just 2 miles from Bath City center and there is a bus stop right on front of the house making it convenient to get to the city center.

We absolutely loved our stay and would love to visit again. The cabin is very well equipped, the scenery is breathtaking and our daughter loved interacting with George the cat, and all the horses. Thank you!

What a great place to stay, its in a nice quiet street and is home away from home. me and my son both thought it was a great place stay!

We loved our stay in Bath. We loved the house and it was very convenient with parking outside and a park nearby. The beds were very comfortable and lots of downstairs space.

Just come back from a two night stay in the Haybarn. It was very relaxing and comfortable and warm. Pippa was very communicative and responded to questions very quickly. Check-in was extremely easy and the location directions very easy to find. There was everything you needed in the property with some little added extras ie milk tea coffee sugar shampoo and things like that. Having the pool right next door to the living room was amazing although heated it was still a tad cold but you can’t please everyone not a complaint but personal choice. The bed was extremely comfortable and bed linen of a high standard. You would need to drive to local shops for provisions as too far to walk.

Honestly this is a hidden gem and is definitely hijabi friendly... We had our own private space, including hot tub and outdoor heated swimming pool. Keith sourced produce so that it was accessible, he helped us in getting appropriate taxi services.

I’d never arranged a gathering with this many people before, so I was worried how it would turn out, but I needn’t have been, everything was fantastic from the get-go. The instructions to find the house were flawless, and there was plenty of parking space for us all. None of the bedrooms felt cramped, even though there were so many of us, and there were plenty of bathrooms dotted around. The kitchen is vast, with multiple fridges and a great oven, and we really enjoyed being able to eat together around the massive dining room table. The living room could accommodate all of us, and much fun was had with the pool and table football tables, as well as the hot tub. Throughout our stay our hosts were invisible unless we needed them, at which point they replied swiftly. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a large party, thanks for having us!

We had a fabulous stay at Lois’ for a weekend friends reunion. Lois and Paul were welcoming and took the time to talk us through local information. The house had more sleeping areas than we’d realised, which was great. We used the pool and were delighted to find Lois had left us an array of treats in the kitchen. Thank you for having us, I am sure we’ll be back to this fab location.

Really beautiful place, more spacious than you think! Beds super comfortable heated under sheets on all bed so kids enjoyed to! With the fire to place stayed lovely and warm, no complaints at all, we had the best time & throughly enjoyed our super last minute booking, Linda and her husband were super helpful brought us animal fed for our kids to do (which they loved) the pool was Soooo warm and lovely decorations were fabulous radio lovely touch, phone box toilet was great and handy showers and toilet facilities were clean and warm, genuinely 10/10 place, beautiful surrounding! Also visited the local pub the fox inn 10/10 food was amazing and tasty! Couldn’t have wished for a better stay over new year was lovely experience in our own bubble. Family friendly& amazing hosts! Highly recommended.
