Tim's place is beautiful and great for a family or a small group of friends. the views are breathtaking and aside from 1 neighbour(who was not there the whole time) it is a very private location. the place was spotless clean when we arrived!! we had some issues with sleeping arrangements as we got extremely unlucky with the weather while we stayed and were hit with cold fronts and rain. Was way too cold to sleep in the bunkie and unfortunatley there is no heating in there. I would say 6 people max to reach max comfortability in this cottage. We will definitely be back here with a smaller group and no baby!

The Getaway is a fully equipped river house with sensation views of the majestic St. Lawrence and all the magnificent ships passing by! Ziad was a first rate host and the on site hosts were very accommodating, welcoming and super friendly!! We will surely be back!!

The place itself was everything we could have asked for—cozy, beautifully designed, and nestled in a stunningly scenic area with breathtaking views. During our weekend stay, we experienced over a foot of snow, but Jay had already arranged for a plow service in advance, ensuring the driveway was always clear and accessible. Thanks to his careful planning, we had no issues coming and going, which made our stay stress-free and enjoyable. Beyond that, Jay was an exceptional host—communicative, proactive, and incredibly accommodating. He kept us updated throughout our stay and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The waterfront is beautiful, with a well-kept fire pit and a peaceful lake that felt private during the week. We kayaked and canoed around the lake several times, enjoying the wildlife—turtles, herons, ducks, loons, and frogs. The BBQ worked great, and Verona offered everything we needed, including good food at Muddy Waters Restaurant and treats at a local bakery and Kawartha ice cream shop. Incredible stay with my husband and son at The Ledges. Could not have asked for a more perfect and serene getaway to a beautiful setting enriched with so much history and things to do and see. Truly enjoyed the property and every bit of it was so well decorated and comfortable. LOVED the bathroom, loft, fireplace, and opening the upper window in the morning to the most serene view. We hope to return soon for more true quality family time!

The Happy Place cottages are lovely. Our group of 5 stayed in the Explorer cottage. Excellent use of space and very nicely decorated. The view and the surroundings were so peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the dock talking then have a beautiful fire. There was another group staying at the Dragonfly who joined us at the fire. It was a nice sense of community. Every one is us said we’d come back again

We ha e stayed at a few airbnbs I. the area, but this is now our favorite!! Such a beautiful location and so peaceful! We were arrive lat at night and Richard was very kind to turn on the outside lights as well as a light inside so we were not stumbling around in the dark. Speaking of dark...if you enjoy star gazing, on a clear night, this is a perfect location!! We were in awww over all the stars we could see, as well as the milky way! The cabin itself was very cozy! It was just as the photos showed. We found it extremely inviting! We explored the location a little on our last day and found the pond on the property...another beautiful location on the property. We hope to stay again soon and explore the trail and land more!
