The perfect place for a short or long term stay. Clean, comfortable & prepared with everything one needs for a lovely stay. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe - I enjoyed many walks & runs in the late afternoons. Close to many activities, shops & restaurants. The hosts are very friendly & responsive. I highly recommend.

Spencer and Ame's place is really a place to feel good. The amenities are amazing. In addition to the usual household and kitchen utensils, there is a barbecue grill and a stone oven, which you can also use for beautiful evenings together. The pool combined with the view 10/10. Spencer's intro was also great. Through him, we knew where to go and his recommendations remained accurate. Accommodation: stylish, modern and well-equipped Host: super friendly and communicative P.S. Even when we forgot our babyphone display, Ame and Spencer sent us an Uber driver who took another hour so that we could use the station again. Thanks again for this effort. We can only recommend the place.

Mark and Nicky are amazing hosts and make you feel at home in their cottage without being intrusive or crossing boundaries. Issues were dealt with very quickly and Mark is very responsive in communicating. The unit is set in a peaceful and beautiful suburb and is close to wine estates, parks, a sports complex, shops and restaurants. We started of as strangers but after 30 days left as good friends. Highly recommended and well worth the price.

A very beautiful place to stay, with a stunning view of the mountains and a cozy fireplace at night under the sky. Highly recommended! Fancy is friendly and kind, and her lovely dog, Mia, is wonderful.

Anette was a really lovely, kind and helpful host. We rented her apartment for almost one month and really enjoyed our stay. Every time, we would have a question, she was really nice and ready to help us at any time. The apartment was exactly the same like it looks on the pictures, maybe even bigger than we expected. It was really clean and the fact that there was a cleaning lady once per week was really great to help keep it this way. In general, you have everything you need. The area was really calm and peaceful, we felt safe at any time. We would always recommend the apartment.

Thanks to all the incredible staff, we had an incredible time, got an upgraded room with aircon & fan, there’s an option for breakfast at additional cost. It is 2 minutes from everything, I highly recommend this place. We will be back!

We had a very comfortable 1 night stay whilst attending a wedding in the area. The cottage has everything we needed and more with special touches like a bottle of wine, coffee pods, milk and water in the fridge. Robyn was a lovely host.

Lerien an Pieter are down to earth, and friendly, they are very accomodating, and even let me check in earlier, i stayed there because i had a family member in Vergelegen that had a major surgery. Compassionate, Neat,attentave, and not overbearing thanks for the great stay.

This place was perfect for our stay. Big spacious apartment, beautiful decorated and perfect touches throughout the place. Appreciated the extra effort the host provided from the rusks in the kitchen to the webber on the patio.

We travelled for a wedding nearby - Fiona and Martin very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Never too busy to greet and see that we were comfortable. Location excellent for shopping and touring Stellenbosch, Somerset West. Loved the views and the swimming pool. But most of all, the friendliness of all at Acara stood out and will bring us back 😀

A visit to Jane's place allowed access to tranquil surroundings and views of the mountains surrounding Somerset West! A morning Nespresso on the patio was the perfect start to anyone's day and the hosts are friendly, inviting and take genuine interest in your comfort and convenience. With all the amenities of home it was an excellent base of operations for our stay. It is well equipped, clean, comfortable, easy to find and ideally located with on site (off-street) parking big enough for a double cab Hilux bakkie being a huge plus!

We stayed with Brian and Marilyn for 5 nights and felt very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and after our excursions you could relax very well by the pool. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Thanks so much for the nice days.

Our family had a lovely stay! Relaxed and peaceful location with beautiful views and surroundings. We especially enjoyed the walks through the vineyards with our young son. Location is very close to several exceptional wine farms and just a few minutes from Stellenbosch for shops and restaurants. Had a great time.

Antoinette is a lovely host and you certainly get a lot of space for your money here. Our favourite part of the property though was the covered terrace where we worked online each morning, with good wifi speeds, and the woodland style garden with a variety of seating areas to relax.

Fantastic place to stay - in all of my Airbnb experiences, this must be just about the best. Beautiful setting, within walking distance to town and at the foot of the mountains, which is great for those who love to run. The flat has a lovely work space too, which made having to work remotely for a couple of days as enjoyable as it could be! Imke was very welcoming and responsive - thanks very much for a great stay!
