Vacation rentals in Bowa

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. House was very functional with ample space, a well kept and quiet garden, good security, solar power back-up and good ventilation resulting in a pleasant indoor climate. Housekeeper was most hospitable and reliable, gave good advice and provided us with excellent service throughout our stay. Unfortunately the security guard was off duty at the time of our stay, and no substitute was ever offered. The solar back-up worked seamlessly but did not supply the fridge, resulting in spoiled food during a longer power outage. Finally, the map suggesting the house being located in central Matugga was incorrect. The actual location somewhat north of Matugga, worked out to our benefit, but might as well have been to our great detriment.

We had a wonderful time staying at Geofrey's. He is a responsive host and he regularly checked in to make sure that our stay was comfortable. The apartment was clean, child-friendly and all listed services were available. The location was excellent. Close to local markets and restaurants without the unpleasant delay of rush-hour traffic. Would recommend his place on any day.

We enjoyed our stay at Angel’s place. Our kids really enjoyed the playground, check in was easy, and she went above and beyond to communicate with us. Located in a great area, close to restaurants, but also the kitchen is well-equipped if you prefer to dine in.

After our previous stay, this time we stayed even longer. Once again it’s been very pleasant. By and large we can repeat what we wrote in Oct 2023, so please feel free to refer to that one. Obviously a longer stay means there’s more room for problems to occur. While hosts Allan/Joan are always responsive and helpful, sometimes a problem is beyond their control. We’ve had some power, internet, water issues, and the fixes were a bit slow due for the most part to incompetent staff. We like this compound, this unit, and the location, but it helps to know that quite a variety of things can go wrong in this compound and the fix may take longer than you’d expect. Despite that, we consider this unit great value for money, and the majority of our time here was great.

Grace was amazing at welcoming me in and took great care of me during my one night stay. she made the one night super incredible that I will return to this location again. she made sure I was very okay and if I needed anything more to let her know. very easy way to communicate with her directly and with quick response

Number one host on the planet Earth, Uganda Kampala superstar host best you will ever find the place is magnificent super clean it is more than a six star hotel everything to detail on the bed perfect thank you again so much for hosting me at your house. It’s a beautiful thing. God bless.

Second time I stayed here and everything was perfect like the last time. Good, friendly and responsive host. Will be back!
