We really loved our stay at the cottage. It’s so cosy and has everything you need. We felt right at home and would love to visit again. The village is beautiful too with lots to do in the area.

Beautiful and very roomy and spacious house. Warm and comfortable. Well equipped.Particularly for the two dogs - utility room and nice secure garden and park very close. Great to have 4 x bathrooms/shower rooms. Great walking distance into town. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely 3 bedroom apartment in a peaceful location with a stunning view across the valley. Comfortable beds and great showers. It is the ground floor of a house with the owners living above, but it has separate access from the side and there was no noise from above at all. The spacious locked shed was an added bonus for storing my husbands bike. Just 5-10 mins walk down the hill to the shops, train station, open air swimming pool, cafes and restaurants in Hathersage. And only 25 minutes drive into Sheffield. The George was a lovely spot for a very tasty evening meal. Stunning walks from the door, including up to Stanage Edge. A great spot to stay for a walking holiday in the Peak District- we highly recommend it!

Debbie was a great host, very friendly. The place was just what we needed for a reunion of friends to walk in the Peak, visit some local pubs and spend time as a group at the property. Thank you!

Would like to start by thanking Penny for a warm welcome to her stunning home which included a freshly baked cake, homemade scones, jam and clotted cream plus croissants. The property itself is immaculate from top to bottom. Beautiful furniture, furnishings, beds, bed linen, towels, toiletries. You really only need to bring your food and drink and that’s it. If you forget anything Penny will sort for you. We were waiting for a taxi on the Saturday and Penny offered to drive us into town if it didn’t turn up. The grounds are stunning and there are woodland walks on the doorstep. We had the hot tub which was great fun and best of all there is a washer and tumble dryer so no wet towels and swimsuits to take home. Would definitely recommend and would love to return. Can only give a 5 star review but would give 10 star if possible. The pictures are great but seeing is believing.

Superb stay in an excellent property! Close to the action of Bakewell yet peaceful surroundings. The photos do not do justice: tastefully decorated with great facilities, the space was perfect for six adults - enough privacy yet the communal areas were comfortable for all. We loved sitting on the patio at the back, enjoying an al fresco breakfast on the beautiful sun-trap. Tom is a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. He also made some excellent dining recommendations: Raja's and Ashford Arms are two stand outs from Tom. All six of us agreed that we would definitely return!

It's like a home from home! A very well equipped and comfortable place to stay. Beautiful walks from the door and a good selection of pubs within walking distance.

I told Craig that I have heavy bags and he kindly offered to help me since there’s a few steps up to the apartment. He even came by and helped me with my heavy bags again and took me to the train station. The place fits two perfectly and it was very cozy and warm. Craig always answered my questions and replied to my emails. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe and I like that it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Almost everything is close by; restaurants, groceries, shopping, etc. Thank you so much Craig.

We had a pleasant stay, really. The accommodation is in a great location (in the city center); it matches the photos and very functional. Everything for us was absolutely perfect. We have nothing to complain about, on the contrary, and will be happy to come back. As for Philip, who welcomed us on site, he is very friendly, a great host! (there was the language barrier, which did not allow long discussions, our English being ultra limited, which did not stop us from finding him very very nice!!). He gave us a lot of information, (especially about his favorite restaurants: great info when you don't know the city!). Philip is a really good host. We'd love to come back, both for the host and for the listing! We liked everything.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful apartment. It was just a one night stay whilst we were attending an event nearby lovely and warm on arrival immaculately clean and comfortable beds.

The place was lovely and spacious. Perfect for what we wanted.

I highly recommend Jo's place. She really helped to make sure my baby and I settled in quickly, providing additional items for my daughter which made travelling with a little one much less stressful. The beautiful garden was an absolute bonus, gorgeous area and very comfy bed. I need to find an excuse to go back!

Rosie's studio was clean, modern, bright and had everything you could possibly need during your stay - above and beyond the usual helpful extras. Initially we were worried that parking on the road might be a problem but we always found a spot right outside. It is close to all the restaurants and shops of Ecclesall Rd and also Endcliffe Park where you can walk right out into the Peak District. We would definitely stay here again.

Charlotte is a fantastic host - very welcoming and has a fabulous apartment with quality amenities. Had everything we needed for our stay and more. Castleton is a perfect location for exploring the Peak District. Highly recommended.

I am torn - I want to leave a tremendous review but I don't want anyone else to know about this gem! From start to finish this has been perfect. My daughter and I have enjoyed every minute. Lisa sent great instructions before we arrived. Once we were in the property, we were delighted by such attention to detail - little notes to explain how everything worked - milk and fresh bread supplied - a huge selection of teas and coffees - nothing had been overlooked. The bed was very comfy and Lisa supplied an air bed too which was also very comfy. The room was beautiful, decorated with real flare, the location was very quiet and we felt very safe. It really was fabulous. We didn't need to leave in a rush and Lisa said that was fine, just to let her know when we had vacated - magic! All in all - 10/10 - 5* - perfect. Thank you very much indeed.

Great apartment! Plenty big enough for 6 adults, 1 baby & 2 dogs. Plenty of bathrooms which was nice not having to share, great location (if you don’t mind a bit of a hill walking back) beautiful place to sightsee and get out and about. Kiran was great, asked for some recommendations and he had a full guide ready and had plenty of stuff to recommend.

Another great stay at the Loft whilst visiting family in Derbyshire. It's well equipped with everything you need, large kitchen, comfy bed, spotlessly clean and private parking. And such beautiful and peaceful countryside. Thank you Mandy for being a brilliant host!

Great place to stay if you are visiting Sheffield. Broomhill near the university lots of lovely bars restaurants and cafes in easy walk and the city centre is in easy reach. Zak is a great host and lives close by if you need anything. Great to have fresh milk, bread butter etc nice touch. Good facilities and very clean. Parking was the only challenge but I got reasonably close and Zak gave us a pass for free parking but please don’t make the mistake of driving down the close. Stay on the road. Thanks Zak

Anybody that wants to go the peak district and derbyshire dales, this is the place for you. This was ideal location for us, Matlock & Bakewell both 15mins away, Chesterfield was even less. It couldnt have been better. The accommodation was excellent, peaceful, private and more than enough room. I particularly enjoyed the walk in shower and the bed, it has to be the most comfortable bed I have slept in. Everything you would need was provided including wifi, Netflix and an area for the dog to have a run about. My wife I enjoyed our short break, I fully recommend this accommodation, this has to be the best air bnb we've stayed at and we've stayed at a few. The hosts where very nice and friendly, will differnetly like to go back.

Beautiful home, so cozy and everything you need for a comfortable trip. Wirksworth is very cute and there are lovely towns close by to explore. Would definitely stay again

We met Sarah on the first evening after we arrived. We had a couple of questions and she popped around when she got home and was very helpful. There were even a few goodies waiting for us when we arrived including my favorite biscuits. How did they know!
