Vacation rentals with a patio in Bocas del Toro Archipelago

Very good location, very clean and Ana is an excellent host. The noise is not a problem at all, we were able to sleep perfectly every night. It is next to the mouthboat exit and is an excellent option if they want to do tours and walks.

Our host was great. Very responsive to our needs. Nice hot water throughout the apartment. Unit cleaned every day.

The house is very comfortable and very close to the active area of Bocas. The place is spacious and very quiet. Easily accessible and very clean. The host is excellent!!! I told her there was a girl of a birthday and Nos had prepared a queque. It was a very nice gesture of you. Definitely recommended!!!

The apartment was well equipped and very clean. Easy walking distance to restaurants and town. If this is the type of place your looking for doubt you'll find better.

Judging from the off-grid, eco aspect, I expected mild inconveniences. Those did not arrive! Abracadabra was totally liveable. Yes, it's an island. Rinse off in the shower and don't make a ton of trash. Elementary. But the appointments and especially the bathroom were lush, there were plentry of kitchen tools, Nicole was extremely responsive and available, and generous with coconut bread (yum). Also, we were half a block away from beautiful Bluff Beach. We saw our only two close-up sloths around there as well, not to mention wild guinea pigs running hither and yon. We also saw a blue morpho butterfly on that leg of our trip. Nicole's three labradors are friendly, and enjoy hangouts by the hammock. So if you want a bargain, a nice simple place, listening to the waves crash at night and exploring the flora and fauna of the jungle, give it a whirl!

The apartment was spacious with an excellent view. It was in a great location just off the main area of town and a close walk to the airport, with a few restaurants right across the street. This apartment was a great value and I'd recommend it to anyone. Thanks again!

Ron and I had a spectacular time at Louise's. The airbnb was very clean and well maintained. It's close walking distancing to the main street where you can get a taxi to town or you can take a water taxi from the house to go on tours. Louise is a wonderful host recommending trips and places to eat. The space is very relaxing which made it difficult for us to leave. Walking down the path to Louise's home we embrace the local atmosphere of bocas del toro and enjoyed the walk along the wooden foot path over the water. Thank you Louise's for hospitality. Sacha

We had a really nice stay at Marcela’s place Everything was as advertised on the pictures and description. Marcela was really kind and always easy to reach if we needed anything. We would definitely stay there again.

they welcomed us with the place very neat and clean and an excellent treatment from the host. Ideal for groups of maximum 8 people and the pool is a good detail as there are few in the area

We had the absolute best stay at Gaia Nature Lodge. The place was as advertised and expected. Despite being so close to the beach, we felt as if we were deep in the jungle and were lucky enough to spot monkeys, sloths, toucans and frogs on the premises. I would quality that what we were looking for was a big adventure and the place checked all the boxes. However you do really need a vehicle or an atv to get around easily, unless you want to hire taxis back and forth. We rented an atv while we were there and were able to explore the whole island, but that usually meant getting pretty messy and wet with the dirt roads and random rain patterns. Check out the reviews and description from the hosts- but for us it was perfect !The place is also walking distance to a few restaurants including Bom Bom, where we went for most meals because the food, atmosphere and resident dogs were fantastic ! Hosts were very responsive ! We’ll def be back :-)

Over the Water is always a popular stay and we can see why! First of all, we were not expecting the two extra bedrooms in the Wood House, and will try to fill them next time we visit! We eagerly took advantage of the free use of kayaks to explore a mangrove tunnel close to the property. Very cool. Starfish abound close by as well. Plus there is a great observation deck overlooking Saigon Bay (we spotted a dolphin there), and we had a balcony off the bedroom as well. A full kitchen with all the things you need to cook, which we did. We had no complaints about our other hosts or stays, but this blew them away , with space and luxury and the kind yet unobtrusive attention of Claudia and Marlon. Also, their museum collection from the sea is of special interest to me, and there is a story for every item. No complaints on any level.

We really enjoyed this location in Big Creek. It is a beautiful view of the lake with lots of fresh air movement and quiet energy best for sleeping. It is close by to many great beach clubs and restaurants and eBike & scooter rentals to plan travel around the island. The house itself is brand new, with lots of modern features in the bathrooms and kitchen. We felt well equipped for cooking anything we wanted. Also, there is laundry capability which is a bonus compared to other options in Bocas. The private pool is very nice, newly built and clean. Your hosts are very attentive to your needs and are truly professionals with a life-time of knowledge of managing rentals on the island. Any issues we had they dealt with it within 15 mins. They really care about their guests. We have traveled to Bocas 5 times and stayed at various rental apartments in Big Creek and Bocas Town area. This is best value for gaining a bigger space, more privacy, and easy walking score to all.

Wonderful house in the jungle. it was a great time seeing the wildlife including monkeys while sitting on the porch. Helena was very responsive to any questions we had. My wife and I had a great stay!

I chose La Caribeña among so many options because I was struck by the deck , the rooms and the being able to have access to the sea from this space. I can assure that I wasn't wrong. What a wonderful place! It's a paradise over the sea. Joy and Edu do a great job as hosts, they are attentive to all your possible needs, they always give you recommendations, and in case they have a beautiful restaurant at a walkable distance from the lodging. They are such attentive hosts that even they give away complimentary shots at their Ohana restaurant, I went every day because the food was quite addictive. This lodging has it all! I used the kayaks that are rented in the lodging and I was able to tour the surroundings of the island. Finally, a boat picked me up on the deck thanks to the management of Joy, who organized a tour for me. Experience 10/10 I'd go back a thousand times ☺️

Excellence at its best! Allison’s place was so wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s everything described in the listing and more. She is so responsive and proactive to be sure you have the information you need. We loved the beach and ate at several of the nearby restaurants. Allison’s recommendations in her book were spot on. I wasn’t prepared for how much it rains but that was my fault for not doing more research beforehand. However, the rain does last that long and you have a full day of sunshine after that. I do recommend Taking an umbrella and/or rain poncho and shoes that can handle mud. The very short walk to the beach is on an unpaved road that gets muddy but your time on the beach will be worth it! I highly recommend Allison’s place and will be back!
