Cabin vacation rentals in Big Moose Lake

Beautiful, decided cabin in the woods close to skiing, hiking, and nature. The hot tub and sauna were amazing after a cold day on the mountain. Will definitely stay again!

The cabin was perfect. Well maintained and great location. Access was easy and has everything we needed. Loved sitting by the firepit and in the jacuzzi. Access down to the river was great and the landscape beautiful. Close to Old Forge and many hiking trails. Pictures don't do it justice.

The cabin was exactly as advertised had everything it said it did. Everything was very clean and worked, very cozy. The view was beautiful and the people in the town were very nice. The restaurant at the hotel was very good, there’s a recreation place right up the street with ice skating and other winter activities. Head to buttermilk falls a quick hike. Kyle was very quick to respond and helpful.

This is the second time we stayed at one of Chris’ properties and we were not disappointed. We wanted a long weekend away to unwind, and unwind is what we did. We enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, good food, and some snowshoeing. We walked right outside, put our snowshoes on, walked to the end of the drive way, and turned left onto the trail that runs right behind the house. Chris was very responsive when reaching out, very thoughtful host. We look forward to renting from Chris again and highly recommend for anyone interested in visiting the area.

Came here on a girls trip and we absolutely loved this cabin. 10/10 we will be back! Such an amazing location, perfect for a small group. We cooked all of our own meals since it’s was dead of winter but the kitchen was stocked well with pots/pans/utensils. There are a few other cabins nearby but you feel so secluded you don’t even notice them. The hot tub was awesome, we sat in it and watched the snowfall. Really don’t have any complaints besides the mattresses being a bit too firm. We had a great experience.

What a hidden gem!! Everything was wonderful and the location is amazing. A little hard to find, but worth it because it was private. TVs did work well but we weren’t there to watch TV. The place was clean and it had EVERYTHING we needed. It had every pot, pan and spice you could ever ask for. Plenty of seating, rooms were nice, porch was amazing. Plenty of places to sleep. We would absolutely go back anytime!! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Great place to stay. Very private and nice!

We were looking for a remote getaway with a fireplace and hot tub and Thomas' place had it all! The downstairs level with the fireplace wasn't very useable in the winter due to it being the only heat source in a very cold downstairs but for just the 2 of us the upstairs was just enough space for us to feel right at home. Another thing to note, directions were great with suggestions to use a specific GPS but we still ended up entering through a very "off road" way in to the community and a 4-wheel drive vehicle is absolutely necessary in the snow season which I'm glad we had! Community was great and we are very much looking forward to returning in the warmer seasons!!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a weekend of snowmobiling. The cabin was clean and cozy. The location is great and directly on the trails. You can ride to multiple restaurants and get gas right around the corner. We would definitely stay again!

This cabin was cozy, warm and welcoming. The view is beautiful and in the summer there would be no place better to be, the beach is literally across the street. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Beds were very comfortable, and the bedroom is huge. The bathroom was good sized and plenty of towels, we did only have one roll of toilet paper but maybe that was an oversight. Decks and the screened in porch were other added pluses but we didn't of course use them or the fireplace, also an awesome feature.

A really awesome place, ideal for relaxing and get energized without external distractions ! Limited network depending on your carrier, which was exactly what we were looking for! A bit chilly in mid October - as advertised - but Pam made everything to make sure we were comfortable ! I am pretty sure I will come back! Lots to do in terms of hiking, and activities in the cities nearby

Our stay at Tiffany and Adam's cabin was the perfect destination for an anniversary weekend celebration! Tiffany was communicative, detail oriented and so sweet! We loved the serenity of the TR property, the white noise of the babbling creek and the cozy amenities of the cabin. Renting the sxs was a blast and was a great way to explore local trails as a family. An added bonus was having the flexibility to include our dog on vacation. We can't wait to return next year!!

Judy was very communicative, easy check-in and everything was as expected. We didn't really have any hiccups apart from extreme winter weather which was out of anyone's control. Even then there was a number for a plow guy on the fridge who came in 20 mins when we were snowed in to the driveway. Stunning taxidermy. I wouldn't call the kitchen very well equipped as some have said here, but definitely better than other airbnb's I've been too. Overall a great spot.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Rome, NY! The kids had an absolute blast playing in the snow, and the location was perfect for our daily trips to Woods Valley Ski Resort, which was just a short drive away. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It felt like the perfect winter retreat, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and family-friendly spot close to great skiing!

Beautiful rustic cabin, clean and well furnished, we absolutely loved our stay here, the fireplace for the cold winter evenings was so cozy, the access to the local snowmobile trails was very convenient…communication with host was thorough and great. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone

We had the best stay! All we wanted to do was relax and that is exactly what we did! This place was even better in person than the pictures! The sound of the creek was so peaceful and relaxing! The place was so homey and tranquil! 10/10 highly recommend this stay if your looking to unwind! We want to come back in the summer to do some fishing!

The cabin was a cozy place to stay. We loved ADK design. Had a great time.

Jade was incredibly friendly and very proactive. She sent our check-in information well in advance and told us we could check in early if we got in ahead of schedule. All the necessary amenities were provided and in good working order. Jade always responded immediately to questions, checked in on us to make sure we got situated and followed up after we left. She even offered us the camp for another night because the roads were closed due to a state of emergency. I can’t say enough about her hospitality.

The home was in a beautiful location with Great Lake access. Home recently remodeled and clean. Some accessibility concerns for older/ younger guests due to many stairs down to the house and water front. Navigation was made more difficult due to lack of leaf removal in outside areas including stairs and outdoor dining space. A rake and broom were provided but removal ahead of guest arrival would have been optimal

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! Walkable to a private beach on the lake, very clean premises, responsive host. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful Adirondack getaway.

Paul's cabin in Cranberry Lake was a wonderful place to stay. It was in a great central location to access various areas of the Adirondacks. It was just private enough to have a peaceful place to stay, but close enough to town to be able to get any essentials you need. the cabin was cute, cozy, had everything we needed, and exactly what the listing said, if not better! I would recommend staying here to family and friends!! Thank you so much for having us!!

Our stay at Bethany and Michael's cabin was perfect. It was immaculate and beautifully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen. This was only enhanced by gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Located right across the street from the snowmobile trails and minutes from local restaurants. We fully enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again next year.

Loved the place. Super clean and cute. The beds are comfy! Plenty of warm blankets too. Erin is very responsive, helpful, and nice. We stayed in the winter and had magnificent snow! The person that does the plowing was great. Erin also has a lovely restaurant close by with awesome burgers! Plenty to do for outdoor folks or people who want to get away from it all.
