Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Big Lake

Great open space in quiet neighborhood. Very clean.

Overall we were very happy with the place. The warm floors were a nice touch coming back in from cold days of exploring. We had a little trouble with the hot water heater giving us error codes (twice) but fortunately the host was very responsive so it didn’t have that much of an impact on us. Just a friendly heads up that if you want to use the grill, you’ll need to bring your own propane. It’s a nice place and I would recommend staying there.

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was so nice to have a place we could all stay at, since we had family coming in from out of town. The townhouse is lovely and the neighborhood is very quiet.

Nestled just far enough out of Anchorage to feel out of the city, but close enough to all the conveniences. Large enough driveway for my rig and trailer, doggies loved the heated tiles inside!!

We had a wonderful stay! Although we only stayed one night, we had an amazing nights rest. Everything was clean and as described. There were more amenities than we could make use of in our short stay. And even in the winter the outside space was nice to have and let our pups out. Would definitely stay again.

Shawn is absolutely amazing!!! His place is very clean and gorgeous. He has everything you could possibly think of and he is so kind. I will definitely be staying at his place when we are back in town.

Rebecca’s Pioneer Peak Cottage was spectacular. We went early February to enjoy the Last Frontier, and the hot tub was such a plus in the cold temperatures with beautiful views. The fireplace was awesome too! The beds were super comfortable and the house had everything we needed. Felt right at home in Palmer. Rebecca was responsive and laid out her rules very clearly. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed. Respect her space and it will not leave you unhappy! I hope someday to return to experience Palmer in another season!

Centrally located easy to find very clean and John was easy to get a hold of if needed. Would stay there again.

Great place to stay! We visited from NJ to meet our 1st granddaughter and this was the perfect place. Easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. Ryan was quick to respond when the wifi went out and that was our only incident if you’d even call it that. This looks just like the pics! The couch/pull out is so comfy and the tv is amazing for movie night! The kitchen had mostly everything we needed to make meals for the week. The shower pressure was perfect especially after traveling all day and hiking. There are other units in the building but it was very quiet. Highly recommend this spot in Eagle River! Also check out Thunderbird Falls, you won’t be disappointed

Loved staying here! Gorgeous views, easily accessible, quiet, and peaceful.

Apartment was exactly as the pictures portrayed. Brandy and her husband were friendly and answered any questions we had. The parking was right in front of the door which was great for my wife who walks with a cane. It was also nice being able to park under a carport which came in handy when it was raining the day we were loading our truck to leave.

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

I had a great stay at Meaghan's place. Be sure to note the section in Meaghan's description where she mentions that there are young children in the house above the apartment. If you are noise sensitive, this might not be the place for you as there was quite a bit of bumping going on during daytime hours, but that is to be expected with young kids in the house, possibly on a rainy day. In my case, I just popped in my ear buds and I was fine. :) The apartment was exactly what I needed, and it was nice to be able to do my laundry and to get cleaned up before heading back out on the road. Comfy bed, full kitchen, keypad access, good wifi, giant TV...everything you could wish for. Highly recommended!

Thank you for such a great little space. It was fun to check out all the little details and see how much work they put into the space. Super clean and while it was out of town just a tiny bit, was still super easy to find. We enjoyed our stay!
