Vacation rentals in Big Bend

Tom and Petra’s home is absolutely stunning! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. The space is incredibly generous, with massive rooms, super comfy beds, and a spacious living and dining area—perfect for relaxing and spending time with friends. We especially loved the interactive speaker system and, of course, the amazing pool! It’s an ideal stay for a large group, and having the option of a third bathroom in the Pilates studio was a fantastic bonus. Tom and Petra were wonderful hosts—communicative, helpful, and always responsive. The only thing to note for future guests is that while there isn’t a sofa lounge for a 7th guest, there is a spare mattress available. That said, this place is a solid 10/10, and we’d absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful couple of nights at Nat's place! It was quiet, relaxing, private and just what we needed while we had two full on days looking at properties in the area! We loved the birds, cows, the whole laid back vibe. The cabin had everything we needed, bbq'd one night, and a very comfy bed. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again (though hopefully we will be living in the area soon!)

Bobi's place is very clean. Has a private balcony with beautiful sunsets. The apartment is very well stocked. Bed was comfortable. It was nice to have high end towels and face washers & bed linens. It would be nice to have extra face washers or two when staying longer than one night. Furniture was neat and tidy. The only downside was you had to pick the key up at another location and return to the same location. It would not be good if you flew in late and had to find the pickup location. It would have been nice to leave the key on the bench top when checking out. Especially when having to catch a flight. I would definitely stay at Bobi's place again!!

Beautifully renovated little home. Was super tidy and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a short stay and Damien was an awesome host! Highly recommend :)

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the owner, Tainia's, accommodation! The picturesque views and beautiful horses made it a truly special experience. Feeding carrots to the horses and spending time in the serene farm environment was both relaxing and rejuvenating. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The Mount Pleasant Saturday Markets were a highlight - and the meals at the local pub were top-notch. It was the ideal getaway to the country for a much-needed rest and recharge. I can't recommend this place highly enough to anyone looking for a peaceful escape!

Well. Truly the best Airbnb experience I've ever had. Wonderful and friendly hosts and so generous. Nothing was missed. We really appreciated the fresh baked croissants, bread, and scrolls. Beautiful accommodation. Faultless. Can't wait to go back.

I have just finished a 2-month stay at House by the Vines, combining some work and leisure, and I had a truly wonderful time. The house is, as other reviewers have also pointed out, exactly as described: very comfortable and clean, spacious and with a really homely and welcoming feel. Working remotely from the house was easy with excellent wi-fi, and the times I could relax were perfect sitting under the verandah surrounded by the vineyards and the serenity (and the early morning freshness of the air is truly amazing!). And Nicole, and her husband Ian, are simply the perfect hosts in always respecting their guests privacy and space, but very available and close by if any assistance is needed. They are genuinely warm, friendly and open. I became briefly unwell during my stay and they immediately offered to go into town to get me any food or medications I needed - I asked myself how many other hosts would do this?! Thank you both for a wonderful stay that I definitely won't forget.
