Vacation rentals in Big Bar Lake

The cabin was amazing. It was more than enough space for our group getaway and the dock/ man cave was an awesome bonus. Kenn was super friendly and attentive. We will definitely be booking again for the next group trip!

Our stay was so pleasant. Our hosts were available for any assistance or question, but not overbearing. The place was immaculate and functional. The views were lovely. It exceeded our expectations and we will return.

Alyssa was friendly and responsive. We had a great stay. They have great heating systems that kept us warm. Also there is a good selection of movie discs to enjoy with family and friends.

The chalet was stunning, set against breathtaking mountain and lake views. The heating was spot-on for late December. Everything was perfect, though the cleanliness could have been a bit better. However, it didn’t impact our experience, which was otherwise flawless. I will definitely suggest this to anyone and will hopefully travel again in future.

Staying at Julie’s is like being home - home away from home. I fell in love with how modern Julie made her home while respecting historical architecture. The bathroom shower was amazing as well as the kitchen & beds were so comfortable and the linens were of high quality. Julie had gifted us handmade soaps and a travel soap dish - so thoughtful! I will definitely be staying here again next month. Looking forward to a bath in the clawfoot tub and crawling back into the king size bed!

Our stay was everything we could have hoped for; clear swimmable waters, large deck(s) to spend time reading and sunning, boats to check out the lake, hot tub to warm up in, cosy log cabin, the call of the loon early morning and evening and animal friendly. Kathryn is a very wonderful and amazing woman. She will mentor in pottery making if one wishes. We will be back! Thank you so much for your sharing a slice of heaven with us Kathryn.

What a peaceful and cozy place! We loved spending the weekend at Helena Lake Ranch! We would love to come back - it is a very beautiful and relaxing haven. Amber is such a friendly and helpful host! It was lots of fun to meet all the friendly animal too.

A bit expensive but it is a very unique place - well organized. The Host/owners have unreasonably high expectations of how much cleaning/laundry is must be done before departure especially given the fact that you must pay at least $300 for a "cleaning fee". They are also very unflexible about the check out time listed a 10:00 AM SHARP or you will have a penalty assessed on your credit card. However, despite that, the place is a gem!
