Vacation rentals in Bifrost-Riverton

We had such a great time staying at the Hobbit House! It's private and secluded, but we always felt safe and comfortable. The hot tub was definitely our favourite—I spent so much time just soaking and relaxing. The interiors are beautiful—cozy, thoughtfully designed, and everything just felt well put together. It felt like a home away from home. We especially loved the breakfast nook, where we spent our mornings birding (we saw three different kinds of birds!). I didn’t think I’d enjoy birdwatching until we experienced it here—it was such a fun and calming way to start the day. Earl and Claire are the sweetest hosts! They were so helpful, responsive, and considerate. We didn’t even need any help checking in because all the information they provided made everything super easy. But whenever we had a question, they were just a message away. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and find some peace and balance—this is it. The perfect little getaway. Highly recommend!

Great stay! Clean, comfortable, and just as described. The host was friendly and responsive. Arborg Bakery nearby is a hidden gem, definitely worth checking out. Would come back!

Dora's place is wonderful. It's a little piece of heaven on her farm. I felt so welcomed. It's rustic and far from glamping. You have to have a certain mobility to climb the ladder and get to the loft, but it's well worth it. The place had everything we needed and was spotless. The veranda is so practical. We ended our evening by the fire pit. I will definitely go back next year.

The place was easy to find and check-in was simple. Right on the lake. Hot tub worked great. Internet was strong. Large washer/dryer. Kitchen was well equipped with a dishwasher. BBQ works well. Three full bathrooms with lots of linen and beds were comfortable. (4th "room" has a mattress for extra sleeping space). Ping-pong table and air hockey was nice for the kids and family. Back deck looks onto the lake. Large TV had Netflix and other options. (there could be one more TV in the master bedroom) Host was easy to communcate with and responded quickly. Very helpful. The only con I would mention is that there is not a dining room table. For our group of 10, we could not all fit around the island in the kitchen with high chairs. Some had to sit on couch in living room. Other than that . . . fully recommend. :)

Once again I had a terrific stay at Grant's place! I was here for work and my time in the area has come to and end but if I'm ever around, this will be the first place I'll go.

Really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The lake and surrounding area were beautiful. Jills instructions were clear and the cabin was easy to get to. Only complaint was the fishing was a little slow but that probably had more to do with our fishing abilities.

Already wrote a review on this place, but it has very quickly become a favorite place for my girlfriend and I on our Riverton/Hecla fishing adventures. peaceful place, quiet and respectful hosts, fresh cookies and farm fresh eggs are a special touch! Make sure you save belly rubs for the dogs and butt scratches for the Orange/white kitty!!!
