Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Biei, Kamikawa District

The host was super nice, the host himself was also a ski instructor, taught us to ski for 2 days, during which we also drove us to the snow, the return trip also took us to food shopping, it was like going to find friends to have a nice ski vacation, it was very recommended that we could come and stay here with the needs of the ski instructor.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. This place is close to restaurants and supermarkets. It’s an easy walk to the bus stop for the local shuttle to the ski slopes. Plenty of space for a family of four. I think it would be a bit tight if you had more than six in your party. Only one bathroom. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Furano. Thank you. 😊

Charming listing walking distance to the best restaurants in Furano. We came for a ski vacation, and having a designated parking spot was very helpful. The kitchen and bathroom have all the right amenities. The host was really responsive and was so helpful when we needed to make a change to our reservation. There are some things that were new to us coming from the US, like garbage sorting, using the washing machine and the kerosene heater and stove. Everything was perfectly explained with pictures and sometimes videos if needed. I would highly recommend this listing and hope to come back next year!!

Thirteen of our line of people stayed in this house and the place that most attracted us was the number of bathrooms and toilets, which is very important for our size.The space is also just the size of the space, allowing people to chat and dine comfortably together.The communication with the host was very smooth and the response was quick and effective.It is also very easy to access the ski slopes.Highly recommend for large groups!

Johnny’s place was amazing, and he was an amazing host! There is plenty of space at Kame House, and it has everything you need while giving you a taste of living in a more traditional Japanese home. It’s perfect for those with a car, who might need to do a bit of remote work, and want to try the small town life in Hokkaido. The wifi is fast, the heater is warm, the shower is plenty hot with excellent flow. The town has a bit of everything you might need very close by. Johnny provided a lot of helpful guidance on the house as well as the surrounding area - where places are located, when they close, what’s good, you name it. He even made time to hang out with us and introduce us to some local people and places. If only I had found this place earlier in my trip, I would have stayed here longer! This was by far the best part of a 5 week snowboarding/backcountry/sightseeing trip all over Hokkaido. I will never forget my experience with Johnny and Kame House, and I hope to visit again!

This is such a great house and is very well thought out. The snow sled is very much appreciated and the large area is perfect for parking and playing in the snow. Lastly for families who like skiing - it's near Canmore ski resort which is perfect for beginners (way better than Niseko / Prince hotel furano)

This is the second time that we've stayed at Gem's property and enjoyed our stay greatly. Well equipped for large groups, made our stay comfortable. Close to lots of restaurants and Kamui Ski Links, we will be back for our next ski trip!

We really liked how much space we had at Fumito’a place. Plus there were lots of good restaurants and shopping areas near by as well. The rooms were clean and everything worked great. We would stay here again in the future.

I didn't realize that I could see the first entry door when I opened the main entrance door, and I struggled a little, but the rest was difficult.The seasonal pattern and climate were very easy and comfortable.

The stay was great! Clean little apartment with everything required. It's a little far from town unless you have a vehicle.

The place is inside a 7th floor building. The floor is dedicated for private lodging, so there are some other rooms in the floor. We saw google map rating for this place was not that good, however based on our experience our home is exactly what has been offered. No dirty linen or bathroom, in fact this is one of the most place we are happy with during our trip to Japan. Maybe the rating on google map happens from booking on other platform and other host. Thank you our host for letting us at your beautiful & super huge place.

This apartment was a great spot from which to explore Asahikawa and the surrounding areas. It’s super close to many Izakayas and other nightlife, as well as many convenience stores, the pedestrian mall, and Asahikawa Station. My tips would be: -park in the lots immediately next door or across the street if you have a car, rather than trying to find parking “nearby” -turn up the heater in both the living room and the bedroom when you get there, as it can take a bit to heat up to a comfortable temperature -if you have a bunch of luggage, note that there are some stairs you’ll have to go up Overall I would recommend this place for remote working and visiting Asahikawa for a few days or more. If you have a car I’d look into their other property next door which includes a parking spot out front.

This set of apartments was perfect for our stay in Asahikawa! We loved how cozy and clean it was for our time there and would absolutely stay there again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Biei! We had a fantastic stay at Miki's place in the center of Biei town. The location was perfect—right across from Biei Train Station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. Local tourist attractions like the Patchwork Road, Furano Snowland were just a short drive away, allowing us to fully experience the charm of Biei and Furano. The house itself was cozy, clean, and well-designed, blending traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern comforts. We loved the warm wooden interiors. Our host was friendly and responsive. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Biei and would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful

Stayed at Kaku Place in Furano. The accommodation was easy to find and a walkable distance to several restaurants and the ski area of Kitanomine, Furano. Keyless check-in and check-out was straightforward. The accommodation was comfortable and nicely furnished. All in all, a great base to explore the Furano area from. We found it handy to have a hire car for trips into town and to other scenic areas. However, if you just wanted to ski from Kitanomine, the walk to the Gondola is fairly short.

Lovely place which was very clean and neat, and with many amenities that make it a really comfortable stay (washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine etc). Host is extremely responsive and friendly. Plenty of space to park car, and a great base to explore Furano.

Absolutely one of the best ski holidays we have had and the accommodation made it even better.

Very nice and new apartment, near the slopes of Furano that you can access on foot. A little far from downtown. I recommend it!
