Beautiful home would definitely stay again!

The Country Pumpkin was a great retreat for my husband and I while we were house hunting in Texas. The location is perfect for those wanting a private, peaceful, and beautiful get away. The master bed is phenomenal! Jake the bull is a sweetie and our host, Vickie, was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay again.

Our family absolutely loved staying at Villa Lucia! Sandra and team were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. The house and surroundings were beautiful. The house was clean and easy to navigate. We’d highly recommend!!

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this home with Laura again. The neighborhood was quiet and the house relatively clean. The bathrooms were spotless! The king size bed was quite comfortable. Great shower in the master. The home is very roomy if you are traveling with a family. Loved having two bathrooms available for getting ready for the day. The Only thing we were disappointed with is the fact that while it had a two car garage, it was unavailable for use. This wasn’t noted in the listing at the time of booking and only made known a day or two before check-in in a communication reminder about the reservation. Disappointing as we like to flea market and estate sale and using the garage would have been more convenient for larger purchases. Overall tho’ I would highly recommend this property and book with Laura! Great home, neighborhood and fantastic stay!

Nicholas’s home was warm, welcoming, beautiful and cozy. It was like home away from home for my family. A small detail we appreciated was the excellent lighting the home had to offer. We really enjoyed the comfortable living room in the home. The 75’ tv along with the comfortable 3 seater and 2 seater recliners were perfect for a nice movie night after being out exploring all day. We also appreciatd that H-E-B and Wal-Mart are both 10-12 minutes away from the home. The kitchen’s open spacing, along with the appliances and dining-ware available made it easy for us to make a home cooked meal. Check-in was easy and straightforward. There were also only a couple of house rules before check-out that were very rational and straightforward to follow. Nicholas was a wonderful host. We had a question regarding an area of the home and he responded right away; within 3 minutes for us to be exact. The home is in a nice neighborhood that also seems to be quiet from our stay.

It was a beautiful place with some amazing views. Gina was responsive and very helpful all through. We all enjoyed our stay…

House is beautiful inside and out. Very spacious , and the spa pool felt amazing. The neighborhood was quiet . Everything we needed was there. The host was very nice and made sure everything went smoothly.

We loved our stay! Vicki was very responsive to my questions and have clear and complete directions for everything. The apartment was super clean, was decorated so nicely, and had everything we needed and more! I would definitely love to stay again and recommend the Highway Hideaway to anyone visiting the area!

This home exceded our expectations. It was a perfect location to explore Salado. The rooms are open and bright. Plenty of space to relax.

We loved the bohemian themed unit number 2! The 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for us 2 couples. It was beautifully decorated, charming vibe, clean and very comfortable. Brooke left us a sweet note and snacks! I also appreciated the little amenities that one might need: blow dryer, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, coffee bar & bottled water, ice machine. Very close to the Shed restaurant and a brewery! We can’t wait to come back ❤️

Overall, a fantastic Christmas stay. Our extended family lives in the Salado area and this location was a quick drive to their place. The home was super clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. We headed out before and after dark both days we were there and the area was well-lit. Bedding and linens were all high quality and "very cozy" according to my youngest kiddo :) Our only hiccup was that I didn't see the pets under 10 lbs stipulation until the night before we left. We had to make a quick pivot and line up other arrangements for our dog. If it's possible to move that item closer to the top of the 'house rules' section of the listing that would probably be helpful for future guests. I just thought I'd seen all the rules after I'd expanded the list and scrolled, but it was the last one and I missed it. Would definitely recommend to others and will stay here again ourselves as long as we're traveling without the pup.

Such an amazing place, we felt at home and loved it. Seconds to the creak and so many awseome restaurants and shops. Perfect for us with a young child / would be the best getaway for a couple. Great night life so close yet cabin was quiet and calm. Loved it and can't wait for our next visit to Salado from UK. Carol was great with updating us before, during and after stay. The best host. We are sad to be home now!

This place was nothing like the pictures… IT WAS WAAAYYYY BETTER!!! in person…. I had a last minute cancellation for a place I had tried to rent to host my Generation party for my 90yrs old Grandparents…. I seen this place it was perfect!!! The smoker & bbq pit was perfect!! PLENTY OF SPACE for my family ….. My Grandmother used the bell that was in kitchen…to get our attention to eat… & she wants this location to be our annual meet up place …any time I had a question or needed anything, KYLE replied instantly…I can go on and on about this place …. Loved it will be using it AGAIN!!

We were looking to get away for a few days, and looking for peace and adventure. We definitely found it here. Was so nice to slow down and just enjoy nature and the peace and quiet that this place offers. We took morning walks and loved seeing all the wildlife. Took advantage of the pond and did some kayaking and boating and even got brave enough to jump off the pier! It had been a while since we had taken a family vacation and this was just what we all needed. Was so nice for the kiddos to be off electronics and enjoy catching frogs and tadpoles at the creek. Corey took time out to show us around the property and was adamant about us reaching out it if we needed anything. It didn’t feel like we were staying at an air b n b but rather as if we were crashing at a friends place. If we get the opportunity again we’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay! The place was extremely clean and exactly as described. Beds were super comfortable. Peaceful stay! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Tere was so kind & responsive! Great amount of space for our of mothers & daughters staying for local horse show! We loved the dinner we ordered from Chef Lucy / so wonderful & highly recommend if you stay!
