I highly recommend this listing to anyone visiting Switzerland. My parents and I didn’t have a rental car, but getting around Sarnen was easy, and we even made a day trip to Lucerne without any trouble. The place is beautiful and exactly as advertised. More importantly, Roland and his family were incredibly gracious hosts. They made us feel welcome from the start and gave us great recommendations to help us make the most of every day. And of course, I can’t forget to mention Mimi, their cat, who was so sweet and made the trip even more memorable.

We had a great time at Stefanie's, the location was great, the views were amazing and we were lucky with the weather. The chalet itself was spacious for 6 peoples, very clean and we found everything we needed. We really liked the Faerber family who took care of the check-in and check-out. We would definitely recommend Stefanie's place for a short stay as it offers stunning views in both summer and winter and skiing and sledging in winter. We had a comfortable stay at Maria’s place. The house is very clean and tidy and looks just like the photos. It is equipped with all essentials, so you feel right at home. The neighborhood (15min by car from Lucerne) is peaceful and so beautiful! There are departmental stores and railway station nearby- so you don’t feel out of place. Maria as a host is very responsive, helpful and polite. All in all it was a wonderful 4-days stay.

A beautiful location, peaceful and with amazing views. The apartment was perfectly clean and cosy and comfortable. Marcel was very informative with recommendation’s of places to visit, he’s a great host available at all times, very responsive and understanding. It was great meeting you and thank you for everything.

Easy to find with incredibly kind hosts, this loft exceeded all expectations! It was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need—especially in the kitchen, which had every tool and appliance imaginable. Our stay was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the serene atmosphere. This is by far the best Airbnb we’ve experienced, and we can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!

The uncomplicated and very friendly Aline welcomed me, showed me everything briefly. A beautiful studio with comfortable bed, clean bathroom, simple kitchen but with everything you need. Great garden with pond; very private & on its own without disturbances from the outside. Large closet as storage space, easy access incl. Parking. All in all a highly recommended stay with Aline. We had a great weekend with Fabienne and her family. The house is fantastic and the fenced outdoor area with hotpot, fire bowl and cozy sitting areas was not only a highlight for our dog. Communication as well as check in and out were very straightforward. We got many good tips for excursions, shopping and restaurants. The location is ideal for excursions in the area - even without a car. Sincere thanks for the hospitality. We will be happy to come back.
