Amazing place! So beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was as described. Check in/out was seamless, and Lindsey communicated everything we needed to know well beforehand. We felt very supported during our stay. The cottage is well-equipped, though be advised to pick up firewood if you want to use the fireplace. The bedding and furnishings were all clean and well maintained. The WiFi is quite slow, so if staying connected or using online streaming/entertainment is important to you, that is something to be aware of. The driveway up to the cottage is steep and bumpy in places, so pick your travel vehicle wisely - especially if you are in a rental! All in all, it's an absolutely incredible place to stay and the view is beyond what you even described! Absolutely breathtaking - you truly feel like you are up in the heavens 😊 We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend a stay at Highbourne Cottages.

The place was beautifully decorated and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was so much to do in the area, from outdoor activities to exploring local attractions. The accommodation was perfect for our family, with plenty of space and amenities to keep everyone happy. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. Great place with an awesome view and homely feel in the beautiful Drakensberg mountains. Great place for hikers and nature lovers or if you just want to relax. Well equipped home that lacks nothing. Host is very responsive and friendly. We just loved it there and will return. Thank you!

The accomodation was amazing, the Cathkin Estate peaceful and the walks fabulous.

We stayed with our kids in this nice Rondo for 5 nights and found everything we were looking for - peace, wonderful nature, cosy fire place, freshly baked rusks, super hikes in front of the door and two lovely hosts who could answer all our nosy questions. We hope to come back one day.

Really enjoyed our stay at the milk cottage. The cottage itself was very beautiful, well layed out and equipped with everything we needed. There were also books which our 2 year old son enjoyed reading and playing with. The property was also amazing with play areas and lots of toy trucks and a deck where you get a spectacular view of the maize plantation and the drakensberg.

Such a large Beautiful family home. 3 bathrooms for the 5 rooms meant never having to wait. Pool table and table tennis was great night time entertainment and made for good family rivalry. 😜

Would highly recommend Celtis Cottage. The house is set on a tranquil hilltop with a striking view of Bellpark dam and the Drakensberg mountains. It is in an excellent location for day-hikes, with Blue Grotto, the Sphinx and Monks Cowl being rather close by. The house is well-equipped and has everything you need. I happen to be one of those people who bring their own pans, spatulas, sponges, cloths, knives and dish liquid. I did not need to take out any of my things, since the kitchen had everything we required and everything was in great condition. The house was clean and such a joy to spend time in. Compliments to the sophisticated decor and furnishings. Helen is the most gracious and kind host, and I am sure Celtis Cottage will see us again in the future.
