Vacation rentals in Beaverdam

The house was great! It had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. I would suggest packing water shoes for the little ones. We did not and left with a couple cuts but nothing serious.

Very nice and tastefully decorated mountain style cabin. Spacious with great look. Clean, quiet and much nature around. Communication with Lisa and Jim was pleasant, to the point and with quick answers. I can highly recommend

Anne's place was great! such a beautiful view of the Chickahominy river. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We definitely will be back. Thanks Anne for being so friendly and helpful and sharing your beautiful home with us.

This is a perfect mountain retreat for those looking to get away for peace and quiet. The views are spectacular, especially at sunset. Tim was great with Communications and responded quickly to any questions/concerns we had. Rich, the property manager, was awesome and checked in to make sure we settled in fine our first night and was only a call away if there were any issues. You're very close to Luray and Skyline Drive. There are also so many things to do at the house if you're just looking to stay in, especially during the colder months. It was just a couples trip this time but I would definitely bring my children here. Highly recommend!

The house was cozy, accommodating and clean. The beds were very comfortable and linens were clean. It was quiet and the beach was just a short walk/golf cart ride away. If I had to make any slightly negative comment, it would be to provide more wash cloths and towels. But that was a very small detail and we just washed and reused what we had, no big deal. The owner was responsive to all our questions and accommodated a last-minute booking for us. We would definitely book this property with this owner again!

This home was beautiful, wonderful, and relaxing. The view from the house is so gorgeous and secluded. You really feel like you are on vacation. Of course our host was responsive and proactive. But as a busy mom with two little kids I have to highlight how particularly child friendly this home is! We stayed upstairs which has 2 bedrooms with a jack and Jill bath in between. My boys loved having two single beds at a height they could easily get into and I loved not worrying about them falling out of a gigantic bed. There were toys in the chest of their room with working batteries! Unreal! There was a mini table and chairs. Games and books spanned multiple ages and both my 4 yo and my 6 yo found games to play. My kids are sensitive to cold water (the little one turns blue!) and the heated pool was a HUGE hit. We never even made it to using the kayaks because the kids just wanted to be in the pool. There were even pool toys. I am running out of characters for this review! We will be back!

We had a great time here! The place is within walking distance to the lake for fishing and other activities. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and use of streaming services on the TV!

Spot was clean and view incredible. The drive up wasn't bad in a sedan after a bit of rain, slow and steady and with brights on to avoid bumps in the road. Maybe need to attempt the driveway twice, keep your car in low gear is the key otherwise you'll spin out. Ants are definitely a thing, you cannot leave even the smallest scrap or crumb of anything out or they will come out in force. This is manageable but takes a conscious effort. Luckily there were ziplock bags there for things I brought like honey that they would've found no matter where I put it if not bagged. Host was responsive and kitchen had spices, someone left oil, and plenty of pans and skillets, also an air fryer and coffee machine. Tin foil was also there an appreciated. Someone had left paper towels and toilet paper which was awesome. I would definitely book again. Cool trails very nearby, unfortunately we got bad weather.
