Vacation rentals with breakfast in Bay Of Islands

We were a group of five (three adults, two kids (4 and 6 years) and stayed at Mary's place for four nights. We instantly felt at home due to a huge starter pack and floral decoration - freshly cut from the garden. The views of the ocean are stunning and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. A five minutes walk into town and 1 minute walk to the playground at the oceanfront. Fast and reliable wi-fi. Very clean and strong water pressure in the shower. Spacious and we really liked the downstairs separate apartment, which was very convenient for our group constellation. Our kids liked the toys provided. One of our most favorite AirBnBs of all time :)

My two colleagues have expressed their gratitude after enjoying this beautiful home away from home during their time in Whangārei for work. I popped in to see the place myself and it is stunning. Great location and central to everything you might need, with plenty of off street parking. Excellent hosts. Thank you again.

This is by far the best place my husband and I have stayed ! Anneke has an amazing eye for style the studio is designed to perfection ! It is beautiful - peaceful and comfortable ! From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and calm, it was exactly what we needed ! The view is 'out of this world' to watch and hear the waves crashing is sooo nourishing for the soul - everyday is soo different - different colours and sounds - we loved making a cup of tea and sitting and making the most of the environment ! Some days we didn't leave the studio as it's so restful ! Anneke is very a kind considerate host and i would highly recommend this accommodation - my husband and I are hoping to come back soon ! Great stay! Merril left breakfast goodies, which was fantastic and also welcomed us. It's close to the Waipu caves and a nice walk to the beach. The family was super happy with the place. Thanks

Great stay at Mandy’s home. Sparkling clean and very centrally located. Mandy was very responsive and we had a fabulous stay.

Candy’s place is absolutely amazing. STUNNING views, comfortable and has so many small touches that make Candy stand out as an incredible host. Her and his husband showed us round, gave us some food from the garden and showed us the glow worms. We even had a jam with them! There is so much to do and we wish we could have stayed longer!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the stunning location, we enjoyed fishing and had lots of space. Definitely recommended 👌

Hayley had great communication and was pleasant to deal with. I loved the location and how peaceful it was and to top it off I did not have to leave for food as Hayley had already provided a selection of snacks with great selection of drinks suffice enough (sweets, savoury, biscuits, breakfast, juice) and would be one of the best stocled pantrys ive seen in all of the accommodation I have stayed. Simple and elegant.

This is an amazing place! It is surrounded by incredible views, close to Russell, and offers many outdoor activities.

Lovely place to stay and relax. The apartment was well resourced and done up to a high standard. The views of the marina are amazing and a short walk from the beach too. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful place to stay, comfortable, clean and well equipped for a week long stay. A great base to be able to explore the bay of islands from. Walking distance to Opua and close to Paihia. Kerry was a great and friendly host. Particularly liked the information pack that contained local knowledge and had all relevant info about the house. The breakfast starter kit with homemade break was great too!

Liz’s place was amazing! So well equipped with everything you’d need, immaculately clean and easy walking distance to the beautiful Ruakaka beach. We also enjoyed the Bach Cafe down the road for brunch. We’d love to stay again !

Brent and Leanne's place is prefect for a few days, with a separate living area and bedroom. No issue for me not having a kitchen, as I was dinning out, but you do have Fridge/Freezer, and a Microwave for re-heating. The bed was comfortable (for me). Only 3km to Kamo, and about 10 minutes to CBD (depending on time of day), which for me is nothing, as I live 12km to my nearest shop. So long as you have transport the location is great, out in the country side - nice and quiet. The location is handy to use as a base for day trips to the Bay of Islands, Matapouri/Whale Bay, and of course the local spots. I will be back in the future using it as a base for more trips.

Linda was absolutely amazing. She serves a hot breakfast of toast and eggs with fresh fruit coconut yogurt. We had some lovely chats with Linda as well. We would recommend her place to anyone. It’s about 2.5 hours away from Cape Reinga which is a perfect day trip from Linda’s.

Jennie’s place is set in a beautiful garden with a rural feel yet you are able to walk into town in a few minutes. Both Jennie and her husband are very friendly and responsive to any need you might have. The place is comfortable and has its own entrance. We felt very welcomed there and the provided breakfast was above all our expectations! And, they gave us a ride to the airport, too! Would not hesitate to stay there again!

Very special place in the middle of the forest. Exhuberant vegetation, vegetables and fruits ready to harvest. Kind company always ready to help. Authentic vintage atmosphere. Three hens, one ruster and five friendly dogs (usually only two small ones). Don't miss it !

We had a fantastic stay with Karen at her place. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and welcome. The house is so close to the water and walking distance to the shops and beaches. The township of Russell is well serviced and some really great options to eat out and spoil yourself. Sitting on the deck every day watching the boats come and go from the harbour was very relaxing! We enjoyed walking over to Long Beach for a swim and coffee. Karen is a lovely host, we were spoilt every day with beautiful breakfast and little treats. Would highly recommend a stay and would love to come back again one day. Thank you for having us!

Caroline was a lovely host! She waited up for us when we arrived late on the first night to make sure we were settled in, and her pup Tilly is the sweetest thing.

Such a beautiful location and the views were breathtaking. Heinz and Brita were warm and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was a great mix of seasonal fresh fruits, yummy treats and beautiful home made breads, we really loved sharing the breakfast with other guests a relaxed and inviting way to meet fellow travellers. Ample parking and wonderful local recommendations, my 16 yr old son and I loved the experience and would definitely book again

Gill was a lovely host who was very helpful with any queries and information. The suite was comfortable, quiet, clean, the breakfast offerings were good, and it was a short, easy walk into the centre of town. The beach was less than a block away and there is a great trail to Opua from the end of the beach. As a solo traveler it was also nice that Gill accompanied me on a few outings in the area. I highly recommend Gill and her BnB!

Rosemary and Don are very nice hosts , easy to get along with. the house is cozy and well decorated, I had a lovely stay and unforgettable experience here 🥰
