What a beautiful place to stay! Everything about this house was fantastic. The location was perfect right in the heart of Bowness with easy access to the lake, shops, bars and restaurants. Parking available for several cars (We had 4 but you could easily fit more). The house itself is just amazing with everything catered for all of our party which ranged from 21 to 80 year olds. The kitchen and dining areas are great and well stocked with absolutely everything you need. Plenty of space in the main living room for our party of 9 to all gather together. Bedrooms were all ensuite, well decorated and very comfortable. The games room with Pool table and hot tub was a great place to relax and have some fun, and the cinema room was fantastic. Great views from the balcony, up and down the Windermere valley. Communication with host David, was 1st class with immediate responses to any questions and a very flexible approach to requests. Would highly recommend and we will hopefully return.

Lovely spacious period property which is in a great location. Close to train station and Lancaster center. Situated on a quiet street with parking and parking permit supplied by host. Contact with the host was faultless throughout our stay. I would definitely return if in the area again.

Had a great break at Anthony's lovely cottage.The weather was gloomy but was so good to return to a cosy home after a walk in the hills just behind the house. Hope we can return in the growing season to see it at it's best.

The Christmas Welcome pack was Amazing and much appreciated Steve and Vicky also left some dog treats for our Dogs. They checked on us throughout our stay which was really thoughtful. We would love to return in the future.

We had a lovely couple of nights stay at John & Carmel’s farmhouse. As a group of 6 who studied at the uni together, it was fantastic to have the farmhouse as a base for a couple of days of adventures. The garden area was lovely (especially with the sun we had!) for cards and sun soaking. Inside was spotless and there was everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great place and close to the city. The place had everything we needed and instructions for everything were really clear.

The photos don't do this property justice—it truly exceeded our expectations. The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with every detail attended to. Jane was incredibly welcoming and made sure all the information was clearly communicated, which made check-in and our entire stay effortless. The location was excellent, placing us within walking distances to numerous restaurants and hiking trails. The property was not only great value for money but also wonderfully family friendly. We truly hope we can stay again sometime soon!

Was a lovely stay. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Felt very at home as soon as we arrived. Very peaceful area, convenience store only a minute away. Kim the host was very friendly and responsive. Would 100% stay again if I was in the area.

Had a lovely stay here! we had a family emergency so only checked in in the evening. As there was no-one booked for the day after the host said we could check out later with no charge. we didn't ask for this it was just offered. perfect stay and location. 10 mins walk to bowness pier. many thanks

we had stayed here once before many years ago and after many years we found this visit just as enjoyable and relaxing as it was on our first visit. It was so welcoming and it was almost like time had stood still as everything was as we remembered it . If you like good food and drink with a gentle stroll around excellent shops and attractions then this is the place to stay.

We loved our stay here. The flat was very well equipped with everything we needed. There was beer, milk, chocolate and pop left for us in the fridge which was a nice touch. 10-15 minute walk to bars and restaurants so we could leave the car at home. Lovely wood burning stove was just like home from home. Thank you Gill and Glen.

Our 3rd visit. As always the loft is a home away from home. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect location to explore the lake district. Will definitely be staying again the future 😃

We enjoyed our stay very much. It has a lovely view from the balcony. The place is clean and tidy. It has every thing we need. The location is very convenient.

We had a lovely stay at Brunton House. Everything was really great, clean and tidy, very comfortable and warm just perfect. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

A very smart first floor apartment, overlooking Morecambe Bay, with views towards The Lakes ... beautiful! We liaised with Tom on our arrival in order to gain access (a little earlier than anticipated) and to help us figure out how to use the tv! Our host was very quick to respond to our queries. This was our first visit to Morecambe and it certainly won't be our last. There is a vast, stunning beach and many shops and eateries to enjoy. Whilst we visited 'out of season' some shops and facilities were closed, the resort itself was quiet and peaceful, which we also appreciated. During our stay we took a train ride to the nearby historical town of Lancaster for some site seeing and retail therapy. In short, we had a wonderful time and will DEFINITELY use this facility again! Fantastic location just a short walk to the town and the Lake. Lovely view of the Lake, through the trees, from the balcony. A lovely spot for a coffee in the afternoon sun! Home from home, everything you could need. Comfy sofas and bed, space for dining. Bowness was lovely during the day for walking, plenty of places for coffee and lunch. Evening plenty to choice too for meals. We particularly liked Bodega the Tapas bar. Great food. Central spot for sightseeing around the Lakes. Would love to stay again.

Upper Mint Mill is a beautiful place to stay, we had such a lovely time there. The space is really well decorated and maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family stay. It’s within walking distance of Kendal town centre (along footpaths), and worked really well as a base to explore other parts of the Lake District. Sophie and Mark were both friendly and super helpful.

Absolutely loved my stay. It had everything I needed and was pristine clean when I arrived. The location is good only a short walk in the centre of Kendal and lots of nice walks almost outside the front door. Highly recommend.

Stunning apartment, in quiet surroundings and great for exploring the lakes. Little extra touches with comfortable, well decorated rooms, fantastic kitchen. Glyn is a fantastic host. Would recommend staying here and we would definitely come back.

I had a lovely stay here for two nights whilst working away. Beautiful scenery lovely and quiet. Julie was very quick and responsive when I was looking for something. If I am ever lucky enough to revisit the area I would definitely stay again.

A great wee find and as nice as always. Lots of eatable’s to tide you over, comfy bed and a warm room. Shower room is great too. Happy to recommend.
