Vacation rentals with lake access in Barren River Lake

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with this place! Everything down to what we needed to cook in the kitchen was well thought out. The home was peaceful, pristine and perfect for our Christmas in the mountains. We also enjoyed walking the mountain bike path behind the house! We feel restored. We highly recommend you stay here!

This house was beautiful and perfect for our family weekend. We had a nice relaxing weekend, with some competitive games thrown in. The gas fireplace made it nice and cozy, and the pizza oven provided a fun dinner for the kids. We would definitely stay here again.

If you want a private, beautiful, and clean space for your family, this is the perfect spot. The home is just gorgeous and the cleanest place I have ever had the pleasure of renting. The host, Lynn was so kind and very responsive. If you pass up this place, you’re missing out!! Thank you for everything Lynn!

This home on the river is absolutely stunning and had plenty of room for my family to relax after long days in the sun. All of the sleeping arrangements were great too. The two decks in the back of the house were an outstanding place to drink our morning coffee. The views and scenery were fantastic and even saw many deer walking within feet of the house. Wow what a place!!! Will definitely be booking again for next year.

We were traveling through the area and needed to make a quick booking. Stephanie’s listing was so wonderful I wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen was stocked well, there was an outstanding coffee bar, and even lots of snacks provided. The lines and home were clean and there were lots of games and goodies on hand for those going to the nearby lake. If we’re in the area again, we would definitely stay at Stephanie’s!

Corlynn and Joe are incredible hosts, and their home was so comfortable. All of my questions before and during our stay were answered quickly and Corlynn was so friendly and helpful every time. Everything you could possibly want or need was available from kitchen items to things you may want for a fun day on the lake! We even utilized some DVDs and card games, and we loved sitting on the deck enjoying the view, or grilling and enjoying meals. We had 4 adults, a teen, and a child and there was plenty of room for us. We all highly recommend this home, especially if you're looking for something clean, cozy, and fun with great hosts!

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay! Makes you feel right at home. Beds were very comfortable, place was clean and well kept! We loved playing board games on the back screened in porch, it was so peaceful! Enjoyed the pool table and dart board! Well worth the stay! Would love to stay here again! The cabin was the perfect getaway for my group. We were in KY to visit the bourbon trail and mammoth caves and this was a drive away from both. The house was private, clean, and spacious - I highly recommend it.

Very cozy cottage, with a beautiful view and had all the amenities we needed. Loved that we were able to bring our pups and take them for long walks on the dead end road with basically no traffic. Really enjoyed our time there.

From the get go, Jessie and Adam were super responsive at answering all our questions. We were spending Thanksgiving at their property and they have a really well stocked kitchen to prepare meals. They also have a griller and a smoker. Unfortunately we were visiting when the lake was dry, so we could not use kayaks or visit the dock. The place was clean, spacious, and modern.

Our vacation was great! Mostly because of the lake. It was so warm for most of our stay and the sunset was amazing. It was 5 mins away but we were there almost every day twice! The place was clean and we love the Smore's set prepared for us. Ed was very nice and helpful. It was not that far from the Mammoth Cave and Sand Cave Traihead. We loved the hiking trail very close Brigadoon State Nature Preserve (like 8-9 mins). First time in Kentucky was very successfull. Thank you for the stay!

Cynthia was a great host. Instructions and expectations were very clear. The space itself was very clean and the location was beautiful. It’s close to other houses but still felt very private. All the added details were thoughtful and you can tell Cynthia cares that you have a good experience. The home wasn’t too far from Mammoth Cave either. Bowling Green was about 45 minutes away and had lots of places to shop and eat. Would definitely recommend this air bnb!

Our stay had zero problems, no surprises and everything we were told was 100% accurate. The location is very peaceful and safe, the walk to the Lake each day was a great way to start the morning.
