Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

Our cozy Riverside Cabin is a place of peace, 15 minutes from downtown Bowling Green. Our retreat is nestled in a canopy of trees along the beautiful Barren River. This is a wonderful location for a romantic get-away, or for serenity seekers. We don't have WiFi, and cell service is sparse, so prepare for an unplugged experience, with nature flourishing all around you. We insist our guests enjoy a 5 star experience, so if there's anything you'd like provided, ask, and we'll do everything we can!

Start your day with coffee on the deck listening to wildlife and end it relaxing in the spa hot tub or making smores with the family by the fire. The cottage is 1 mile from Bailey's point and 3 miles from State Park.

Amazing two-story house nestled high up in the trees. A true treehouse! This treehouse sits amongst a forest of poplar trees and feels very secluded and private. It has spectacular views of Kentucky’s rolling hills as it looks out across the valley. This treehouse was hand built and handcrafted with love and attention to detail. Located just off of I65 outside the historical little town of Franklin, KY. We are located between Nashville (45min), Bowling Green (35min) and Mammoth Cave (55 min).
