Beachfront vacation rentals in Barra Beach

This rental home is probably one of the most unique that we have ever experienced. Incredible natural beauty, gorgeous views, refreshing outdoor bathrooms, etc. Felt like we are in nature while having the luxuries of civilization. Truly a memorable stay. Dave and his crew are helpful and accommodating. If we ever get out to Tofo again, we would love to stay here for an even longer duration.

Despite of a super difficult scenario, Simon was super helpful and relaxed, ten points! We had planned to have a month long stay at Simons in Mozambique, but due to political tensions we were not able to enter the country. The whole scenario got super tricky but Simon handled everything like a true professional!

Great place either way great location, right on the beach! And Raquel, the maid was very helpful and super friendly. This is the place to be!! ♥️

Roxanne, Lynne, and Terrence were lovely, communicative hosts who provided a wealth of information and assistance. The villa's location is fantastic—just a 15-minute walk to the main beach and lively area with restaurants, surf lessons, and umbrellas for rent. There’s also a beautiful, quieter stretch of beach right outside. The villa offers breathtaking views where you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset from the house. Secure and safe parking is available on the premises, and the kitchen is fully stocked, making meal preparation easy. One tip: bring South African adaptors, as all electrical fittings are South African.

Kaya Bahari is exactly the dream it is depicted! Glorious sunrise and sunset views! 3 terrace/balconies of ocean views with direct beach access to a kind surf to swim and boogie board at! Close 20 minutes jaunt down the beach to town! All the amenities you could wish for and more! Diving at your doorstep almost (300-500 meters). Even drinking water from the borehole! Ultimately the joy of waking up to the view and natural breeze of the 3rd floor is absolutely amazing! Grateful for the fish and octopus connection delivered and prepared fresh. Thank you so much Hildegard and Marc for sharing your home. This beach house is amazing and beautiful even the shared pictures dont do justice on what the place looks like. First time for my children to be at the beach and they loved every second of this holiday. Will definitely be coming again with more family members so that they can also experience what we did! Everything was as described,good location with loads of restaurants ,local food markerts around and a community of locals who helped us navigate activities etc, recommended by Luis the hosts caretaker and most speak English which made communicating easier.There was also a first aid kit in the house,a first time for me to use an AirBnB with such an amenity and we appreciated that thoughtfulness.

This cottage is on arguably the best location in Tofo. Wake-up, walk onto the beach from the garden and into the ocean. It never tires. The caretaker Augustinho is extremely helpful and I can whole heartedly recommend this accommodation. It could use some more atmospheric lighting, a nicer inside dining table and comfy occasional chairs but those are all minor compared to the location!

We had a beautiful stay. It was peaceful, close to the beach and close to other amenities. We loved the charm of the accommodation and the hosting was top notch!
