Hosts were quick to answer questions and offer advice. Easy parking and entry. Comfortable gathering area and plenty of kitchen items. Super clean. Great water pressure for shower and really hot water!

We sent our children to school, we chose to stay here, close to the main road, also very quiet, the room looks bigger than the photos, there are amenities such as refrigerator microwave oven induction stove, convenient for us to cook instant noodles, burn some hot water, you can see squirrels outside in the snow on the bed, very comfortable, can live in this historic old house, very lucky, some small problems, the host will respond in time, if we have the chance, we will stay here again.

We stayed here during the first week in September. We loved the place it was spotless had a great view of the sunrise each morning and very good location. It is close to the Hulls Cove visitor center in Acadia national park and to downtown Bar Harbor. The place is located in a quiet and peaceful area and has a great deck where we enjoyed a glass of wine after a entire day of hiking or sightseeing.

We loved staying at Colie's apartment. The location was perfect! The fact that it was comfortable and clean made a big difference to us - we stayed inside quite a bit since the weather was bitter cold. Communicating with Colie was easy. I highly recommend Colie's place!

This was our third stay at Pam’s place. Her place is clean, private and quiet. The bed is super comfortable and the apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Pam is always responsive and available for questions.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy studio apartment in Camden. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the town center, the harbor, and a variety of restaurants and shops. The beautiful library and other local amenities are close by, making it easy to explore everything Camden has to offer. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with convenient parking available on a side street away from any busy traffic. Inside, the apartment is charming and comfortable. The gas stove adds a warm, inviting touch, and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious for a studio and well-equipped. Overall, this apartment was the perfect spot for a relaxing and convenient stay. Highly recommend!

The apartment was fantastic. It had everything we needed- a full kitchen, relaxing living area, and cozy bedrooms. It was absolutely squeaky clean and neat as well! The location was quiet with beautiful forest scenery, and it was not too far from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia, which we were very grateful for. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Maine!

The rental was clean and comfortable, nicely decorated and we enjoyed the cookies, snacks and water bottles that were in the kitchen for us. The keurig was convenient too. Rich was very responsive to make sure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

Katie’s great. Came back this year after wonderful stay last year. Katie’s very attentive to anything we needed. The place exactly as described. Sweet and very small town Maine. Rockland is a hidden jewel.

What a cozy, beautifully furnished and decorated space. A lot of thought went into making guests feel they’re staying somewhere very special. We certainly did. The second floor apartment with its spacious deck had a view of the ocean and some spectacular sunrises. This was our first visit to Maine and we wanted somewhere central on the coast, like Owl’s Head. It was a good base to explore from. And there was lots to do close by. We were especially pleased to discover the Bernard Langlais art preserve only a few miles away. Rockland is ten minutes away and has a lot of great places to eat.

Great stay at Susan’s for a few days while we explored Acadia! Bathroom had its own heater which was amazing in the cold weather. Everything was dust free and very clean. Plenty of blankets and towels. You can slightly hear the upstairs so if you’re a light sleeper just know that there could be some noise. Overall had a great stay and would book again.

We had a great time in Rockland staying at MaryBeth’s place. The check-in was seamless, and the location was close to the lovely downtown area and the ocean.

The apartment had a very efficient design to maximize the space. The view was beautiful! We loved Belfast and it was easy to get to Acadia. Quiet setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was great to be able to wash clothes mid-vacation. The only thing we missed was a small microwave to reheat our coffee because we were enjoying lingering over coffee with the pretty fall view. Overall- wonderful time!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and Ann was super easy to communicate with before and during our stay. As others have noted, while the distance to the Bar Harbor business district is technically walkable, the roads have no shoulders, sidewalks, or street lights so walking after dark would not be a good idea. That said, we had no problem with finding parking (in mid/late October).

we were very happy with kitchen supplies. Everything was totally comfortable and we loved the view.

My partner and I were looking for a calm, relaxing place to celebrate our anniversary, and our stay at the Open Hearth Inn exceeded our expectations! The vibe was very cozy and comfy, and the staff person we met was super friendly and helpful. The hot tub is such a nice bonus, and the location is very close to Acadia. We stayed in winter, so much of Bar Harbor was shut down, but we still had a fabulous time taking in the local scenery and binging on reality TV. A wonderful, homey place to just get away from it all!

Perfect studio. Used the jetted tub, nice and relaxing. Lots of extras (new toiletries, coffee, filters, sugar, etc.) much appreciated and used. The view, esp at sunrise, was stunning. Quiet neighbors. The beach store (pizza, sandwiches, salads, coffee and more) was very good. Just down stairs and one building over. (get there early for their muffins) I would certainly stay here again.

Donna’s place was even better than expected. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Donna was up front about there being no kitchen right away which allowed us to plan ahead and be prepared. The area was beautiful and so peaceful and the huge windows facing the lake were a delight to wake up to each morning. During the days we explored Acadia National Park, just an hour drive away on 1 or 2 roads (always felt shorter) and in the evenings we enjoyed a campfire, stargazing at the end of the dock, and always looked forward to warming up in the hot tub that was always hot and ready for us. This place was perfect for our beautifully cold Acadia winter vacation and felt like a great deal for what we got. I would definitely recommend.
